I frequent this place often and have received ok service. However today I got my nails done by “Joe” he was so rude and mean. He cut me with the nail drill and was gonna leave me bleeding until he told Nikki what I was complaining about. That’s not good, number one he wanted to continue filing my nail down with the drill as I bled. Until she told him to put something on it to stop the bleeding.I can only imagine if he cut the person before me with the drill and kept on filing. Transferring of bodily fluids are hazardous and scary. I paid $33 for my nails and the top of my nails are not polished. They look horrible. This will probably be my last time there. Read Less

This was my first time trying this shop. My husband actually found this place based on reviews. I’ve been going to another shop for 7 years and I’m very loyal. Due to them being extremely unaccomdating for 2 Days now and i had to have my nails fixed today i decided to give it a go. I feel like I’ve been deceived for 7 years. Terry was AMAZING! I got the dip powder and I’m absolutely amazed with the time and work he put into this. My nails are FLAWLESS. Needless to say he has a lifetime customer in me. I have been coming here for about a year and I usually have great service but today it was awful. I believe my nail techs name was Denali and she was horrible. Cut one nail shorter than the rest, sped through everything and made several small mistakes. I wanted a silver in the dip powder for my ring fingers but they only had a super sparkly one that I did not like so Denali said she could mix it with another silver and it wouldn't be sparkly like that. Well it still was and when I told her I didn't like it and wanted to change it she said she couldn't even though obviously they can, they are a nail salon. Was also moved from my chair twice whIle waiting for my nails to dry and ended up sitting on one of the stools they sit at when doing customers feet. My nails were only drying for 5-10 minutes and in that time I was made to feel like that biggest inconvenience for them. I did not tip and I still felt bad because i hate not tipping. I left there crying because they made me feel like such an inconvenience. Very disappointed in a place that I previously loved, I may try going back one more time but I will NEVER let Denali do my nails again, soo rude. I went back a couple days ago and a woman named Ann did my nails and she did absolutely amazing. She really took her time and made sure they were perfect. I don't think anyone has ever done my nails as well as her, I was impressed and very pleased with the way my nails turned out. I will definitely be coming back to see Ann, she did wonderful. One star for my technician; she was great. However, the place was filthy. There are stains in the carpet and the place smells like fish and stale cigarettes. Nevertheless , the place had good Yelp reviews so I persevered. My mistake. An hour after I received my pedicure, the Polish rubbed off on my fingers when I test it to see if it was dry. It wasn't a sticky like not dry type of thing it was rubbed off like it was chalk on my fingers. I know why, it's because they thin their polish, which is not a cool thing to do. My advice stay away. There seems to be plenty of other nail places around, go to them instead. I'm not from here and I called to see what they could do and they told me to come back which isn't really an option for me. Most of the time they are quick and walk ins are welcome, but sometimes you could wait up to 30 minutes for an appointment (especially around 5-5:30 on a week day) I went on a Friday once with an appointment for a fill and still had to wait a half hour to be seen. But they're a popular place, so you can't ding them too much for that. Most of the nail techs are great and listen to what you want. Sometimes I've had to ask them to fix a shape of one of the nails, but they always do without issue. And there are SO many color options, it's hard to choose sometimes! They have polish, gel, powder, and chrome. Some of the techs also do some phenomenal nail art as well. And the prices are competitive with other places in the area. My first time here today. Really great customer service.  Staff seemed like they were having a good time even though it was very busy.  Manager/owner was walking around consistently checking in everyone and helping.  She offered customers water. I had a basic mani/pedi and it was $35. They did a paraffin foot wax dip that I didn't ask for, so I'm not sure if that was included or just kind of snuck in there.  The overall experience and service was fine and the price seemed  normal for what they did.  The salon was busy but quiet and mellow.  The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my polish wasn't cleaned up properly and she left smudges on my toes,  and my nails had bubbles in them.  I would go back if I were in the area and pay closer attention before I leave next time. NEVER AGAIN! The nail tech was an older Asian man that was rude & has an extreme attitude problem. I want to feel welcomed at a place I'm spending my money at. He definitely didn't get a tip. Also, my friend accidentally gave the receptionist an extra 20 dollar bill & when she told them they became very rude & defensive. Refused to believe she could've accidentally gave them more money than she owed. Came in right at open. 5 minutes after 9 I come in for a simple fill. While picking out my color a woman comes in about 5 minutes later (meanwhile I'm waiting because I told the nail technician to not rush since the salon just opened and she was getting her things together). While the technician I was waiting on was in the back, someone directs the woman who JUST walked in to the desk of the woman I was waiting on. Then they told me to wait at another table for a technician that HASN'T EVEN SHOWN UP YET. I wait 10 minutes without another word, no tech, nothing. This is my go to salon. I have had pretty much every manicurist for both acrylics and pedicures and they are all wonderful. The salon is very clean and well kept, the wait is never too crazy, and they have great color options. They get extra props because I went in today after getting my nails done out of town (NEVER AGAIN) and one of my nails had popped off after one day...they replaced it and changed the color on two nails for only $3. I am about to move to the city, but I am definitely going to drive out here for nail appointments, can't give them up. I just got a pedicure and it looks great!  The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it felt a bit rushed-she scrubbed/exfoliated both of my legs at the same time and the foot scrub was minimal.  I never need much scrubbing but it feels good to have it done.  Also,  she just rubbed the lotion on my legs and feet instead of massaging it in The cut, shape, and polish looks good though so I will be back! I just happened to be in the area and had time to kill and really needed a manicure & pedicure. I happened upon this place and they were actually opening early. The door said 11 am but i walked in somewhere closer to 10:45 am. This place immediately scored points for me because of the decor and cleanliness of the entire salon. More modern updates, neutral colors and tons of stations for both pedicures and manicures. I was greeted as soon as I entered and once we established the services to be rendered I was offered the regular polish or gel. During my pedicure I noticed the technician taking extra care with clipping and polishing. Very meticulous. I was probably 10 min into my pedicure when I was informed that the girl for my nails would begin working on my nails as well to help ensure a speedy visit. Triple points! The old nail salon I went to would have you waiting for an hour (they refused appointments) and then in the middle of your services stop to service other people and I would spend 4 hours in a nail salon. Yea ... I'm ashamed to admit that craziness. Any-who.. Back to Nikki Nails ... So I had the manicure started and the pedicure was excellent! There was an orangey scented scrub used on me feet that left them feeling incredibly soft. My pedicure was concluded with a paraffin wax dip on my feet and now they're soft as a new born baby's bottom! I finished my manicure up at one of the stations and it was done quickly and efficiently. I'm extremely picky and have been going to the same nail salon since I was 16 but I would feel totally comfortable coming back to Nikki Nails. Total time spent here: 45-50 minutes!!! Say whaat??!? First time here and I had a great experience.  Henry did a pedicure for me and gave the best foot massage I have ever had!  Pedicure and manicure both turned out great and I didn't feel rushed at all.  Actually,  we had a nice long conversation.  The establishment is clean and new with drop lighting at every pedicure station. Today was my first visit, will return again and hopefully give 5 out of 5. Glad that it was quiet, clean and empty= prompt, relaxing service. I didn't see a sign that lists all the services provided but based on what I was charged, I'd say they are comparable or maybe slightly less than other nail salons $15 for a fill on my overlay.
