My nails look really nice and the service and wait were very timely. However, the nail tech did cut the tip of my finger with the scissors she was cutting the acrylic nails with, and then I did not see her disenfect the scissors at all. I also have sores on a few of my fingers around the cuticles from the nail filer. I have gotten manicures and full sets done at other locations plenty of times and have never had an experience like that. While the owner was very apologetic, no discount was offered, which I felt would have been appropriate given the circumstances. I do not plan on returning to this business. Read Less

I have had the pleasure of being a patron of this establishment, I came in for a simple fill in and pedicure. The pedicure was amazing, was transferred over to another tech; the manager to be exact for a fill in. No nails missing, simple fill in with the request of shaping them more. The shaping was absolutely horrid and was told that he couldn’t fix it and that was just it, that it would look better after painting, that failed. Not quite satisfied I carried on, while getting the gel coat applied, I noticed dust particles under the polish, he acted as though he couldn’t see it, held it up to the light and explained further. After he finally saw this he decided he’d file them, amongst examine my nails further I realized my gel on the right hand started to crumble or shrink if you will. I asked him had he noticed it, at that point he told me it was because I kept my hand under the UV light for too long evidently with no direction on when to remove my hand. He then throws his hands up, storms off, holding his head and make a frustrated remark. I am completed astounded by the reaction of the manager of this establishment as I am a patron and simply just wanting it done correctly. I am unaware if it was a bad day seeing as though it is Monday morning/afternoon it may have been a hectic morning but never should a patron feel as though they are a bother when nothing is at the fault of the consumer. Ni N does a beautiful job on my nails. Never had a problem. Been going there every since last year. I use to to Nail Me Good on Lindbergh. They have so many customer's in that shop. They rush doing your nails, just to make money. I stopped going to them. Michelle Pro Nails is the place to go.☺ Read Less

I've been to plenty of nail salons to were you can get the gel polish on ur toes AND NOT USE THE UV LAMP now all of a sudden they do not do that...and to add insult to injury I got here at 10am, yes on a BUSY SATURDAY, no worries I'll wait bc I'm a walk in and they can only do one at a time, but almost two hours no communication to say HEY IT'LL BE A LITTLE WHILE LONGER BC A FEW MORE APPOINTMENTS ARRIVED 👈🏾I mean non of that until I asked nicely HELLO DO U THINK IT'LL APPROXIMATELY BE ANOTHER HOUR OR SO...the man tech yells I DONT KNOW UM WHAT TIME DID YOU GET HERE I WOULDNT POSSIBLY KNOW (then laughs)...I could go on and on but I'm completely outdone. At this moment I had been going to Michelles for over 10 years....WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ....this particular day I wanted a fill in and pedicure. While getting the pedicure the nail tech cut me TWICE and tried to cover it up like I wouldn't see it or feel it. Come to find out it was her 1st day. If your techs aren't trained correctly why have them on the floor? So while getting my fill in... I told John the manager I would not be compensating them for the pedicure due to being cut TWICE. He told me to "GET OUT AND NEVER COME BACK "! So I went down to Nail Plus in Cross Keys Plaza where the owner Michelle works (Nails Plus is her other shop), to inform her of what I experienced! Absolutely love this place! I come in frequently and they have all made a point to remember what services I get.  They will also advise me on what services I actually need...Which is a quality I love since I am a regular.  All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and not just nail color unless that is what you want but I typically can't decide on a color because of the vas selection of regular polish and gel but they always help me find the best one for my skin tone or an event. My niece got all the family together for a morning beauty get together before her wedding.  The pedicure experience was normal, massage chairs, paraffin, good selection of colors. However the staff is what truly made this a five star. The  place is run by a true business man. His respect for his craft and customers showed through in his friendly, chatty staff, accommodation of children and late arrivals. I don't think we were being treated special just because we had a large group.  They have a very local neighborhood following.  While we were there, several dropins arrived and were told there was a bridal party they said no problem we will just go to the other location.  Very loyal. I recently started getting my nails done here maybe 2-3 months ago. I use to go to VP nails in Ferguson but wanted a change. I like the set up of the shop. It's very clean, the staff is funny and the wait time is usally not that long. I also love the fact that you can call and make an appointment. Awesome job! Keep it up Tom. I love going to Michelle's Pro Nails, my favorite is Tim, he moved to the cross keys location from the one across from Target. He does a wonderful job on full sets, they're not big and bulky. They look natural. I got "alot" of compliments on my nails. I recommend him definitly to anybody. Tom, the owner, is great too. He has a good since of humor. 8). I love them all. Kim does really good with pedicures at the other location across from target in my opinion. Read Less
