The lady doing my nails was just rude and seemed all around very impatient. I had one kid who just got her nails painted, and they acted frustrated when she wanted a flower design on TWO nails. Another kid got a full set, and the lady doing hers messed her nails up BAD. She obviously just slapped the acrylic on and didn’t even bother trying to file or smooth out all of the thick lumps left behind. When asked to fix it, she said she couldn’t? So, a customer paying $80+ to get a couple basic set of nails, gets absolutely terrible customer service. I personally have no idea how this place has any returning customers. I had my nails done and the next day one cracked. I stopped back in to have it fixed and the lady who worked on my nails was very rude to me. I asked the owner what the lady was saying to her because she started talking over me in another language. The owner said that she was telling her I had accused her of breaking my nail. I said no no. I’m not mad, my nail just chipped and I’d like it fixed. I did not tell her that she broke my nail. The tech got up from her chair and lef...t me there. I asked the owner to please have someone else fix my nail. I then sat in another techs booth and cried the whole time until I left. I have not been back in there since. I used to spend a lot of money when I went, getting pedicure, gels, hand wax and eyebrows waxed each time and I would also pay for my mothers to get done and sometimes my daughters as well. I've always had a great experience at JD in the past, but not this time. It's been about 5 years since my last visit and the atmosphere has completely changed. I was treated very rudely and when I asked about the gap in my polish she said it was because I did not order a manicure, when that is exactly what I told her that I wanted. I have been three times first two times where great!! My last time I had a different person doing my nails the SNS dipped she never talked to me, after she kinda finished she rushed to the next person. She didn't even walk to check me out. My 75 year old mother with ALS was told not to come back because she has no control/use of her right hand. She had been a customer at JD Nails twice. Because of the ALS, she very little use of her right hand. Unfortunately, each time she got her gel manicure - she accidentally messed up a nail or two trying to get her non functioning hand into the nail dryer. Instead of showing her even the SLIGHTEST bit of compassion - she was told that having to go back and fix the nails (which they did) was causing problems for them and taking up too much time - and was told not to come back. It would take very little time for the the nail tech help her get her hand properly into the dryer - instead they chose to turn her away. She was disappointed and terribly hurt. I truly hope that if they are ever in need of assistance in a business establishment, that they are not shown the tremendous lack of compassion that they chose to show my mom. Read Less

I had no issue at the salon, and my nails looked awesome, but it hasn't even 3 weeks and 4 nails have broken or popped off already!! I will never go back to get a manicure again. Very upset that my nails started messing up before 2 weeks and now are popping off before 3 weeks!! Read Less

Love them for shellac manicures but their pedicures  are not as good. Literally was maybe 15 minutes long and my toes have already chipped by the time I got home. I would try somewhere else for the feet. Read Less

I have never had such poor customer service. I waited over 2 hours for a pedicure. This place has gone downhill so fast. I've been going there for almost 10 years and it was ridiculous. I was not compensated for my wasted time or offered any beverages or anything. I will not be going there ever again. I will also not recommend this place to my friends or family. Read Less

I've gone to this place before an it was super busy but they still worked me in for a mani. Today I went and the woman asked me if I had an appt which I did not. I've never made appt unless it was for prom or my wedding. She then continued to say they had no openings today but she herself was there on her phone. I am not from this area any longer but a family member recommended JD Nails while I was visiting. I showed up an hour after opening and was told very rudely, they did not have time to help me.....I guess Walk in's are really not welcome. This is by far the best nail salon in Burleson. Not only are the prices fair the work is also amazing. Tommy is bomb he has always made my nails look fabulous. Ashley and Michelle are always very sweet and personable. This is my nail spot and I recommend everyone that asks me about my nails to them. Wednesday morning myself and my daughter walked in to see about getting pedicures. We were greeted and when we said we were there for pedicures the lady that was sitting closest to the door said do you have an appointment I told her no we do not (the sign says walk ins welcome) at that she said" A NO " very rude, we were then told by another lady to come back at 2pm(she was polite). we walked out and went to kc nails where we were treated wonderfully and got in and out. I'm going to let everyone in on a little secret- you don't need to pay $30+ for a shellac manicure. If you are in Festus, or the surrounding areas, you have to check out JD Nails! For $15 you can get your nails cut, shaped, and painted with a shellac polish & for $20 you can get a complete shellac manicure. Shellac is supposed to last 2 weeks, chip free- but I have found that I can stretch it out and make it last close to a month (if I ignore the regrowth) before it starts to chip and peel off. However, it is extrememly difficult to remove and leaves nails rough and peeling, so I only recommend it if you plan to keep up with it each month. Be warned though- for any service, its best to make an appointment the day before since they are always super busy. Read Less

I am a professional cosmetologist and I have never been to a more clean and professional nail salon. The staff treat you with the utmost care and attention.
