Poor customer service. My technician was nice but her counterpart was rude and disrespectful to the point where my mom and I nearly walked out. I didn't appreciate how she kept yelling the prices at me like I was unable to pay and visibly treated us differentky than her Caucasian customers. Where my culture is not welcomed I will not patron. Love this salon! They are so friendly, remember names and do a fantastic job every time. I drive from Wentzville just for the great service. I'm not sure what they do differently with their gel, but my nails seem to last longer than other places I've tried and aren't so weak when it comes off (I don't get my nails done every weeks or anything). Very disappointed. Requested powder dip acrylic, rounded shaped nails, my natural nails were of medium length.  I even brought a pic to show shape.  Walked out with my nails filed into short pointy stubs.  The acrylic was uneven and different thicknesses on each nail. Read Less

Went here for a birthday celebration.  Everything was great until I noticed as I was getting my mani that she was apparently done with my Pedi since she was on to someone else.  But they used no lotion.  I always get a upgraded Pedi and I nicely mentioned to my friend that I wasn't sure that she was done and she heard me.  She came over aggravated and said no pedicures come with lotion.  Never.  No lotion, we don't use it for Pedi's but slapped some on my legs and barely rubbed it in.  I told her it was fine, I can put it on no big deal, I just never had one that did not finish with lotion or oil.  She kept insisting that none of  their Pedi's get lotion......weirdest thing I have ever heard.  And she was quite snippy about it.  I won't go back.  I have since fallen in love with Isle Nail Bar in the valley, as well as their staff and cleanliness. Friend and I made appointments for mani/pedis last Friday. We were told the technicians were "ready" for us at our pedicure stations but we sat in the chairs with no water in the basins and were utterly ignored for about 15 minutes. The technician that did my pedicure was rough and nicked me with her tools. My toe is still a little sore and I'm hoping it won't get infected. FILTHY BATHROOMS. Way too expensive for the service we received.I literally had to argue with the lady to get what design I wanted, and it did not even turn out right. Every choice we made they disagreed with and made us feel like we were inadequate for what our choice was.Yes, they are busy and you do get in quickly, but the whole experience felt rushed and I am more stressed now than before I went in for a relaxing massage pedicure.Refund- yes please I am seriously considering going somewhere else today to get this corrected.And though they say they clean and sanitize.....I am praying my heart out I don't get a fungus. Customer service; poor, I'm displeased. Worst pedicure I've ever received, a $25.00 waste. Old school procedures with acrylic nails; too thick. Techs need to take classes to update their skills. Venetian Nail Salon is a no-brainer if you happen to be in the Chesterfield area. Beautiful, immaculately clean, and spacious salon with top-of-the-line massage chairs; professional nail techs; a wide assortment of OPI nail polish; and they even let you leave a tip on your credit card without a guilt trip.They're a little bit more expensive than some of the nail salons in the area, but their manicures are precise and they really last. Also, they're great with little ones - my niece Ava got a polish application (sans manicure) for just $5, and they were really sweet with her. I made an appt on Sunday for Lucy to do my nails and I am so glad I did. I had seen her work and was excited about going. I was greeted upon entering w a warm hello and brought over to Lucy. They have a vast amount of OPI nail polish to choose from which was heaven to me. I chose to do the gel nails and she did an excellent job on my nails and I also got a polish change on my toes. I've been coming here every two weeks for my no chips ever since I moved to the area. They do a wonderful job and always give me exactly the length and shape I like. Whenever I get a pedicure as well, they take their time and do a wonderful job at cleaning up the calluses. Read Less

I agree with Gretchen - the place is filthy.  I saw one customer leave, and another placed in a chair with not even the bowl being rinsed let alone sanitized.  This caused me to look into my water bath and I saw objects floating and a layer of scum around the bowl.  In spite of my alcohol rub after I got home, my feet itched, too. Then a tech brought tools back in the back room area, took them off the tray, wiped the tray, and put the tools back, I am sure to use on another patron. I cannot believe that people still go here, and that the Missouri Board of Cosmetology has not cited them...or perhaps they have! Read Less

I have to say that I have been coming to this nail salon for 3+ years and I drive out of my way to come here.   While I think the finished product is very good I think the service, cleanliness and the pushy practices of up selling have driven me away.  Kim used to be super friendly and lately she seems to not even care.   The last time I was here I walked out with a $175+ bill as I was not even asked about type of pedicure and was given the most expensive.  I get my eyebrows waxed then was asked about my lip and then that progressed to her doing more on my face to another $50.  Plus while I was getting my eyebrows done I was looking at all the spider webs and direct in the room.  The final straw was seeing this cute young girl come in with her mom.  The child asked her mom about getting a flower painted on her toe.  The mom quietly told the girl not this time.  Kim overheard and told the mom sure all the kids want to flowers and only $10 more.  The mom still said politely no and then Kim started saying direct to the young child "you want flower" so the mom had to say yes then.   Not cool at all Venetian Nails.  On a previous visit I witnessed a nail tech and another nail tech get it a literal screaming match over a client that someone took out of turn.   Once a placed I really enjoyed coming to has really gone down hill. This is my go to nail place! I drive from the city to chesterfield to get my nails done. Every time I go, I get my nails and toes done! I usually get a manicure and then gel for my nails and a long massage and pedicure for my feet! No matter who does my nails, I am always pleased. You can make appointments but they also have walk-ins. I have yet to make an appointment and no matter how busy they are, they fit me in. The owner is so kind and always so thankful, all the workers are very kind as well! They are very accommodating, they also serve bottled water or wine while you are there f you would like. I chipped one of my nails the day after getting them done, went back and they redid them for no charge. I got to Venetian Nails....well bc my mom likes it and they do a good job!! I find them to be expensive thou!! I go there on the reg and for my fingers and toes (gel on both) is $120. It lasts for three weeks, but I find the last week I am barely getting by and I WONT STAND for chipped and nasty nails!! Anyway, they do an amazing job and go if u can swing the price!! Read Less

I got so disgusted with this salon I will never go back! Not clean and their attitude is worse. I know several people who came here for wedding group mani-pedis, only to have a horrible experience. They take appointments, but then you end up waiting anyway. My last pedicure looked like a first grader painted outside the lines. And my feet itched afterward for 2 days. They have the highest standards in cleanliness, professionalism and customer service. Every technician is friendly and courteous. All are well-versed in the latest nail techniques. The place is big, and can accommodate a lot of people. The facilities are sort of clean-- not the worst, certainly not the best. Nice massage chairs. THEY CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING, EVEN LOTION. Seriously? lotion. I had a french manicure, no lotion, no hand/arm massage, No cuticle removal- just pushed back cuticles $21.00 plus tip. You have to tell them the tip BEFORE they run it through the credit approval. Had a pedicure, and decided to get the lotion and scrub- included a 30 SECOND SCRUB MASSAGE $34.00. Mani/Pedi $55 plus tip. I won't go there again. So many better places in Chesterfield/Wildwood Read Less
