My experience here was fantastic! Denny was so kind and generous. I was going to be starting chemo and needed a wig and a shave. The pictures are from my new wig. And even though it was traumatic having my head shaved was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Denny was very compassionate and understanding. I highly recommend Salon Artiste.

I have been going here for years now, as has my whole family! This is a nice, neat, tidy, friendly place to get your hair done! I go to Sarah, she is amazing! My whole family goes to her, she is part of our family now and that's what I love about this place, everyone knows you and the conversations are constantly flowing. There is never that awkward moment where you have to say a prayer to yourself with the hopes that someone doesn't butcher your hair! The only down fall here, is its hard to get in to a lot of these people as new clients. For them it's great because their clientele love them so much they constantly come back, but for those looking for a fantastic salon, you won't be too lucky because most of them aren't taking new clients. Still worth a call and attempt at seeing if they can fit you in, especially if you need a great place to become a regular at!

Great up-to-date salon, started with Rose, the owner, and Sophia, long before they were here. Watched them grow and prosper. This is a great salon, all the stylists know what they are doing. My kid...
Great up-to-date salon, started with Rose, the owner, and Sophia, long before they were here. Watched them grow and prosper. This is a great salon, all the stylists know what they are doing. My kids always went here until they moved out of the area. I moved from the area over 5 years ago and I'm still going back there because (believe it or not) I can't get a decent or reasonably priced hair cut in Chicago. I kid you not, I work my visits back to town around my haircut schedule. I have poker straight hair that needs attention to detail. I get the detail, reasonable price, pleasant/friendly attitude and, above all, a great hair cut (and at times coloring). Give them a try.

I was new in the area, and was referred here and was very happy.The staff was so inviting and professional, I felt very much at home from the minute I walked in. Ask for Rose the owner she did a great job on my hair, from what I saw all the stylist looked like they were doing beautiful work!

My experience here was fantastic! Denny was so kind and generous. I was going to be starting chemo and needed a wig and a shave. The pictures are from my new wig.
