I had a terrible experience. I went there to get a hair wash, blow dry and flat iron. The place was totally empty, there was only one stylist. He seemed to be inexperienced. He hardly shampooed my hair, his fingers did not even touch my scalp, he did not apply conditioner either. Blow drying was even worse, he tried to flat iron my WET hair...Seriously???? Did you not not learn in styling school not to apply flat iron to wet hair? I asked him to completely dry my hair before ironing. He handled my hair so badly, my hair was in knots which usually never happens. He didn't know how to blow dry either. Then he applied a ton of serum and started flat ironing. My hair looked horrible at the end. 30$ was just a waste of money. I hope management is ready this, otherwise you are going out of business soon. Read Less

I reached the salon at 7:15pm and asked for a hair wash and blow dry..there was only one person and she was on a personal call..seeing me she made up about an appointment for blow dry and had her friend call her to say that she will be there in a minute and when asked how long it will take so that I could wait for my turn and  she says 1.5hrs..this was such a Disgusting experience..lazy people employed in your store defeats the purpose of this being a blow dry bar. I would have given this place a 5-star because the first time I went there I was in the good hands of the manager by the name of Nicole. Everyone there was so friendly and this was a new place to me who accepted walk-ins. Today I was so appalled by the way that I was treated that I had to give this a one-star. I walked into the shop a little around 11 a.m. today and there was no one being waited on. This being a walk-in shop I figured that I could get my hair simply washed an...d blow-dried no style at all. The lady was sitting on the computer and told me that she had an appointment coming in. I asked do you still accept walk-ins and she responded Yes but I have a client coming in shortly. I did some shopping in the mall which took approximately 45 to 50 minutes and I stopped by there before I left, and she was still sitting in front of the computer with no one being waited on. I asked her if she did ethnic hair because I am natural and she claimed that she did. I felt as though I was rejected because of the texture of my hair and she did not want to wait on me. the first time I went she said the earliest she could get me in was at 5 p.m. . But when I went back she changed it to 12 p.m. now does that seem a little suspicious to you or not? I didn't even want to give one star but it won't let me post if I don't.  I've been in here multiple times and NEVER anyone in here.  Just stylists standing around.  I go to the desk and ask for an appointment and they consistently tell me they are booked for hours.  I will NOT go in again and ask as they clearly want this place to shut down just like every other store in Chesterfield Mall. I got my hair blown out there and it was fine, but I didn't realize that until I got home because the mirrors are hung so high you can't see yourself. It was the strangest situation. The stylist I had was nice and knew what she was doing. I came in as a walk in, I noticed the place was empty but bright and colorful. The receptionists weren't very friendly, it was an attitude like they didn't want to be there. Maybe they were having a bad day. But my hair turned out great so I was satisfied with my visit. I would possibly return with hopes that I get greeted in a positive manner. Read Less

Don't be fooled by the pop of color of this place. They are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. We had an appointment that we couldn't make on time, so I made sure to call and let them know we were on our way and they said it would be fine. Once we got there they told us they couldn't take us because their grace period was 10 minutes (even though I called before). We were there right within the 10 minute grace period. What's even worse is that they didn't have a helpful or positive attitude about it. The place was also empty. This is not the type of place I want to get my hair done at. I came here last Friday to get my hair done on very short notice, which I appreciate very much. I had an appointment and showed up a few minutes late but took them about 10 minutes to even acknowledge my existence. They had to find someone to do my hair and when the woman was shampooing my hair she missed huge spots in my hair. There was even hair in the sink before she washed my hair in... and didnt even wash it out! When she was drying it there was a huge soapy spot where s...he didn't wash it and did not say anything because i figured she would take me back to wash it out.... NOPE, she just wiped it away and acted like it wasn't there, I showed her the picture of the hair I wanted and I asked for long light waves... she did huge curls and did not know how to do a waterfall braid and had to ask someone how to do it and they redid it about 8 times and they didnt even do it right. It took so long that I was late to my prom and didnt even make it to pictures on time. Had my eye on this place for a while and was excited to try it but now it was such a dissapointment.
