STAY AWAY FROM TOM!!!!   I was recommended to this salon and Tom did my fill and gel.  He had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke, however abided when I asked him to put on a mask.  He accommodated when I told him I wanted my nails short and round shaped.  However, once my nails were completed I noticed that one nail had been filed particularly narrow on one side of two of the nails and less so on the other side, which resulted in definite crooked look to those two nails.  crookedness toward the right.  I pointed this out to the manicurist and they brought Tom to me to look at it.  He told me he had not done anything incorrect, rather I had a crooked nail bed and that is how come my nails looked that way.  i told i did not enter the shop with a crooked nail bed to which he told me I had.   I am visitor from Los Angeles and never before I had crooked nails.  However, Tom insisted and i eventually told him this must mean he is incompetent when it comes to acknowledging his mistake, the truth and maybe incompetent to do his work at the nail salon.I will write another review superb for Jasmine who did my pedicure (thank goodness Tom wasn't called upon to do that). Staying at a hotel down the street and desperately looking for somewhere to get a good pedicure and help me relieve some stress. Walk in are welcome and the employees were friendly and we had a ton of fun. My friend got a French pedicure for a price of $30.00+tip and a standard pedicure for $25.00+tip. They gave us some good restaurant advise and were very professional. Read Less

I was a loyal and respectful customer of K Nails. Yesterday, I was told to get up in the middle of my manicure and give my seat to a women who came in after me. This seemingly happened because I am a teenager and the women was older. I do not believe that is a valid excuse for the disrespect I was show. My money is no worse than anyone else's.
