I had a big work event that I was attending and I wanted to have my hair done so It was less stress for me. I chose a blow dry bar because I wanted a relaxing experience, may hair washed and styled by someone that could see and do my hair from behind. My first experience at a place like this and it was absolutely awful! The girl I had never introduced herself and barely washed my hair. She was unable to wash the under side of my hair at the nape of my neck... it was still dry when I got up from the bowl. The blow dry was less than ideal, nothing relaxing about it AT ALL. This big flat paddle brush would scrape against my head in a downward motion without giving any sort of lift to my hair. I wanted large curls/beach waves... I left with preschooler curls by my face, a rats nest at the top of my head and straight nappy hair in the back. One would think Paige was a dog groomer before she came to this place. I will never go back and I will make sure my friends know the experience I had. I'm updating my review of this place. I wish there was a way to give ZERO stars. I will never ever return and neither will my friends. The owner contacted me as soon as I posted my first review and said she wanted to speak to me "live" I've given opportunities for that to happen and it has been almost a week since I visited. I am shocked at how poorly the return response has been especially since I was the one contacted 5 minutes after I posted my review. I'll never waste my money at this business ever again! All I know is that at the place of business that I work, if we get a complaint, the person whom it was about it talked with and the customer/client is contacted to find out the issue and to make it better by them. I spent the morning here with my bridesmaids on my wedding and it was a great experience! My mom and I are frequent visitors and have nothing but good things to say. I've been happy with every blowout I've gotten and all of the staff has always been accommodating to requests! Tanya, the owner, helped me plan and prepare for everything on my wedding day, and it couldn't have gone any better. I highly recommend Rodnique and Karissa for hair! From the glass of champagne to the amazing hair wash, I felt like a princess with amazing hair after I was finished. All that was missing was my tiara! I was so hoping to be able to give this place a 5 star review because I was so excited to get a blow out and that it was so close to home. I give 2 stars for the friendliness of the staff and the cute setup inside, but my hair turned out awful. I asked for beachy waves (which is pretty much my go to style, but I wanted them to look extra good this day), and recieved tight curls brushed into a frizzy mess. I was honestly shocked when the stylist told me we were done and I left. I did go back in and asked her if she could fix it after sitting in the car a few moments, but I am so suprised she let me leave with it looking so bad. She attempted to fix it into looser curls and it did look much better, but still nothing like beachy waves. Super bummed by my experience here! :( Read Less

This was my first blow out ever, and Tony was amazing at making me feel comfortable and ultimately fabulous! She first asked what I wanted (soft large waves) and gave me recommendations on what may look good with my very layered, normally-gets-poofy-after-blowdrying haircut. She then washed my hair and then dried my hair most of the way. She worked her magic with the blow dryer. I understand that some folks want a blow dry bar to strictly use the blow dryer, which they do here, but Tony was nice to ask if I wanted a little more definition to the waves framing my face. I said yes of course! She made my hair look so good for the event I had that night. I got so many compliments for how voluminous and soft my waves looked. I had such a great experience! My hair is fine and doesn't hold styles well. They took the time to listen to my concerns and I still can't get over how well their products worked with my hair. My hair is weighed down easily but the Unite products they used were amazing. My hair has NEVER felt so thick and full. It seriously didn't even feel like my hair when I touched it. So happy Chesterfield has an amazing blow out bar now! I've been here at least 8 or so times now and have gotten their deal recently of 8 blos for the price of 6. All their stylists are amazing (shoutout to Shelby). This place is very clean and you literally come in, blo then go. I love coming here since I can't curl for the life of me. I had my first experience at Blo today with Shelby, and it was outstanding! The shampoo and head massage was so relaxing! I love this Blo dry bar concept, it's the perfect mix of princess and pamper. I didn't know they offered sulfate free and vegan hair products, so that makes me love them even more! Every product that was used on me smelled amazing. Shelby styled my hair half down with waves and half up with a fishtail braid, something I can't do to myself so I was totally impressed. Prices are reasonable and service is excellent! What a fabulous place!  Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.  One of the ladies even sang to my 9 month old to keep him entertained!  The lady that did my hair and make up did a fantastic job!  She pined up my curls while she did my eye make up and my hair is still perfectly curled this morning bc they were done so tight!  I've been to other blo dry bars in the area, but this one was definitely the best!  Can't wait to go back Read Less
