I've had a a couple very different experiences here. I used to get monthly massages, but that was until the day that my massage therapist put my back out. It took me months to recover from it. That was a couple years ago, and since then I've gone back for an IPL treatment ( they had a Groupon deal). I thought the person doing my IPL was very knowledgeable and did very well with it. Their IPL laser head is smaller than ones at other companies so it is able to get into smaller areas like your temples and closer to your hairline. My only complaint now is that on three separate occasions I've tried to call this location and no one ever answers...it doesn't matter what time of the day it is. So it's become a pain in the butt to ever make another appointment with them. Once I'm done with my groupon, I think I'll find somewhere else to go. Too much of a hassle. Read Less

I had a delightful facial after work with Amanda. I was greeted warmly and offered a beverage. I opted for the spa water, which was a delightful citrus infused water served very cold. I was taken back into a dimmed and relaxing waiting room to relax in a comfortable chair and to make time for myself before the facial. It was nice to be removed from the bustle of the whole spa and be so comfortable.It was just the little pick me up perk I needed. She took careful time to go over my skin care concerns and provide insight for me to work on improving my skin. Relaxing doesn't even do this justice! I had a wonderful face mask, shoulder and scalp massage and overall deep relaxation experience. I booked my next facial right after this one for four more weeks out so I can maximize the benefits of this facial for my skin.As I go back I plan to try more and more services and I will update this review as I go! The service providers I have used during the past three years at the Brentwood location have been excellent. Unfortunately, this location (and in several instances the Chesterfield location) is very poorly managed. Most of the time, it is extremely difficult and frustrating to book appointments. Reception/Scheduling is often understaffed, phone wait times are absurd and when you finally speak with someone, the individual is generally clueless and offers no assistance. The salon loses clients and substantial fees due to poor customer service. It is truly a shame but this problem has continued for years. If my providers went somewhere else, I would immediately stop going to this establishment as it is definitely not worth the wasted time and headaches. Read Less

I had a groupon for a mani/pedi. It was suppose to be for 75 minutes but was only an hour. I was disappointed in the quality of service, the nail tec was nice though. She basically just pushed back my cuticles but didn't cut them and when I asked her to go over them she was nice and did but they didn't look any different. A couple of them did bleed but she didn't get the cuticle. I've been getting mani/pedi' s for 18 years so I know what a good mani/pedi looks like. She didn't do the greatest job applying the polish either :(. Read Less

After my recent experience with the face and body I feel that this review is very important for others to read. I recently went and had a spa pedicure. The pedicure was great until about a week and half later when I started noticing swelling and redness on the inner parts of both of my big toes. I called the salon (Chesterfield location) and expressed my concern about possible ingrown toe nails and they told me to come in to see what they could do and "what advice" they could give me.  Just some background information, I am 30 years old and have been getting frequent pedicures at nail salons since the age of 15 and have never had an issue. Ironically, this was the most expensive pedicure I have ever gotten!  I went to the salon and saw a different esthetician than the one who did the original pedicure. She told me it looked like the skin was cut down too far on both of my toes and that I had an inflammatory reaction, but I did not have an ingrown toe nail. I was relieved to not have a toe nail issue, but rather upset that I had redness and swelling from a 75+ dollar pedicure. I spoke with the manager, who not only did not give me a refund, but also told me that there is no way to know if the pedicure caused this problem with my toes. She continued to brag about how long they have been open and used that as a reason why it couldn't have been the salon's fault. Honestly, there is no way that this has never happened to another customer, I just wish they would own up when a mistake is made.  She went on to offer a free manicure for compensation. I told her that I frankly didn't trust the salon after my experience and at least wanted a refund for the tip I left. She continued to deny any sort of refund so I left.  So based off this horrible experience, save your money and go to a nail salon and avoid them for manicures and pedicures. Read Less

I don't usually give bad reviews but after my experience  I feel obligated to share. I had an appointment for a hot stone massage last week. I was greeted by the receptionist who checked me in and then waved me back to the locker room with little instruction. Luckily I had been here before so vaguely remembered what to do. However, there were no keys for the lockers so I had to go back up front to request a key, not a huge deal but wouldn't you think it made more sense to provide that as part of the check in process?After changing into the robe I went to the quiet waiting area and grabbed a magazine. For 5 straight minutes another woman and I sat there listening to two of the staff having a very heated argument about stolen tweezers. When I couldn't stand it any longer I requested another staff member tell them to take their dispute elsewhere so we could try and relax, which is what we paid to do.Just when you think it can't get any worse, my masseuse talked the entire massage and it wasn't a two way discussion, it was all about her and her life. She was very friendly and actually provided a nice massage but the continuous conversation made it impossible to relax. Thankfully I had a gift certificate so the experience didn't cost me much. If it had I would have likely demanded a refund. I will never be back. Read Less

My sister and I did the Spa Oasis package to celebrate her birthday.  She lives in Chicago, and I'm always hoping to take her places that show off St. Louis's best.  This place was perfect!  EVERYONE was wonderful!  It was very clean and not too pretentious.  Overall, we were extremely satisfied.
