I've been having my nails done here since June 2017 and would never go anywhere else. The ladies are all excellent at what they do, and my shellac manicures have lasted well over 2 weeks without ever chipping. They have a wide range of colours to chose from and the atmosphere is always extremely welcoming and friendly. I usually see Christie for my nails who does shellac perfectly but when she hasn't been available any of the other ladies do them brilliantly too. Slow, horrible customer service, overpriced, and incompetent. Nail polish is chipping within days on acrylic! The rhinestones on the designs fell off overnight. If it were possible to give a negative star rating that would be my option. I wouldn't go back to this place for a free service. There are much better mediocre nail salons than this place. Very poor quality of shellac nails. Fell of and chipped after 5 days. When I complained and was booked in to redo my nails the attitude to me was appalling and hostile. Very uncomfortable. I have never experienced being treated like that. Would not recommend from my experience. It was quite a shock. The receptionist was not to blame, she at least was not making me feel uncomfortable or ignored me or very unfriendly. Would never go back. I am sure I was the object of gossip an...d whispering just because I complained about shellac nails that did not last for a special occasion. It would not have taken much for the girl doing my nails just to say ‘I’m sorry your nails didn’t last for your special event, we will do them again ‘ instead of not even saying hello when she sat down. Even the other technician noticed the awkwardness and tried to open up her conversation to me. It ended up in fake conversation just to stop the extreme awkwardness! Poor quality of Shellac manicure and pedicure. Nails started chipping after only five days. Really disappointed as it was a present from my husband for our anniversary. Manager was rude and didn't want to listen. My mum was given a full refund over the phone and I was only offered to have them re- done but it was too late as I had already returned from holiday. I will not be returning due to poor customer service which is a shame as I have been a loyal customer for three years. Read Less

It really depends on who you get. Lilly and a young girl there are very good. The massages that accompany the manicures are an added bonus. However, I've never had painful experiences anywhere except this nail salon. I bled three different times during a manicure and I have my first ingrown toenail from an overly aggressive pedicure. I repeatedly asked for my nails to be longer than what I was given and I told lily the owner this many different times I needed them longer and after cutting all my nails off except for one they were ALL uneven . Ladies have you ever been so upset with your nails that you cry that you can't even look down if that's the case do not go here bc that's what you will be given I can't even look down without wanting to cry this is so dissapointing when I've tried to give them many chance to redeem there selves I still cannot be given that . Horrible service. i got a simple manicure and pedicure for prom. the top coat on all of my fingers was clearly visible and didn't cover all of the nail polish underneath, especially near my cuticles. They left nail polish on my skin and it took forever to even be seen by them. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Read Less

DON'T go here. Very very poor quality manicure and pedicure. I know most places cut your nails low, but the woman who did my pedicure cut mine outrageously low. She then left polish all over my skin and didn't even have enough consideration to get it off. Unfortunately she had to do my nails too, so I told her I'd just get regular polish even though I usually get shellac. She then kept pestering me about getting shellac instead even though I kept refusing. Finally, the manicure hasn't even lasted a day. I'll probably go to another shop tomorrow and get this terrible job corrected. There are way too many good places to get your nails done to go to this place. Read Less

I stopped by for a quick gel polish change. What I got was a polish change at a full manicure price. My tech got upset with me when I wouldn't let her use a drill on my natural nails. The best thing was that she was a file goddess, she filed my nails perfectly. The reason I gave 2 stars is that the service I paid for was not the service I received and the polish job is sub-par at best. I will not go back. Read Less

This place is super busy and most of the techs are great. Don't go if you don't have over an hour maybe two. The woman I had today was the worst I've ever had at Lilys. She was slow and would stop  working to talk to co worker or just to be nosey. I will never frequent this business ever again. I had the worst experience ever and it came from one of the children of the owners or workers there. My daughter went in to have her eyebrows waxed and my younger daughter and newborn waited for her up front. The children come over as kids are naturally drawn to babies. When the little boy comes over he looks at my newborn..I  couldn't believe what came out of his mouth. He said "I dont like black babies I like white babies"!! I sat there because I was so stunned and even said to myself I know this chid did not say that. My other daughter said mom did you hear him. I said maybe we heard wrong. I am boiling but wanted to give this child the benefit of doubt. So we sit and then his little sister comes over and looks at the baby and smiles. Her brother follows her and he yet again states what he said earlier.  I shows me that he has been taught this at home and gave a real view on how this business feels about Black people. I am sure they like our black dollars but they dont like black people. If my daughter had not had her eyebrows being worked on I would have left immediately!  Terrible experience but a reality of how racism exists and is still being taught in 2015. Read Less

I had a pretty good pedi here once. Lots of techs on duty so the wait wasn't long, but I went a separate time for a set of nails and they did an awful job. When I tried to point out what was wrong, the tech took a major attitude and started going off to the other techs in their native language. I won't be back. I'm not sure what the rage is about this place. I was visiting Southaven and needed a quick mani/pedi. That didn't happen. My mani/pedi took 1 hour and 45 minutes and the results were only ok. Also, I thought it was overpriced for the service and atmosphere. For the amount of money paid, I expect the place to look appealing. This place is dingy. The walls are in desperate need of a paint job and the floor was dirty. I did see them cleaning the foot spas between people so I wasn't too scared but I wouldn't call them clean. The man that did my nails was nice, however he stepped on my foot when we were at the manicure table because he wasn't paying attention. He apologized but I couldn't help but thinking that he should know people have their feet under the table. I quickly tucked my feet behind me so it wouldn't happen again.It's been weeks now and I didn't have any cleanliness issues so I guess it is clean enough but I won't be back. Read Less

I have been a regular at Lily's nails since they opened 2-3 years ago & I have never had any problems. The little girl that is often at Lily's nails is the owners daughter & is known by many of the other regulars that goes into Lily's, & she says she loves helping mommy! STAY AWAY FROM LILY'S NAILS! dont waste your money or risk the filthy conditions and thievery. Unless you approve of child labor.. I had a gift certificate AND scheduled appointment for 1pm. The staff did not honor my appointment, and continued to service 'walk-ins' while my feet pruned in cool water for an hour. At which time, I got up and left.... without a towel to dry my feet off with.The water was drawn, and jets turned on by a 3-4 year old little girl. I am seriously considering taking legal action to protect that little girl... Lily's nails is by far the best nail salon. They have phenomenal customer service and do a great job. They are priced the same as other nail salons in Southaven, but they do a much better job.The only reason they lost a star is because of the wait. Don't go if your in a hurry.
