I had a one hour massage gift certificate giving to me by my girls for Mother’s Day; the day I went to redeem it (on a Friday afternoon) the masseuse gave me a 30 minute massage and suggested I come back another day to let my muscles relax because my muscles were “so tight”. Stylist have a way of making everyone feel welcome and most importantly they ask for your input on what you want done to your hair. Megan did a really great job. I came to get my roots done and she took it to the next level! She worked with me on how to improve the look I was going for, and she kept me in the know about what she was doing at all times so that I wouldn't be uneasy. She also assured me that if I didn't like it, she would make sure that I would be happy with my hair before I left the salon! I'm really disappointed in Julie tonight, 3/24. I called at 5pm from work for a 6pm mani she said she had an 6pm already, so I asked if I could come at 6:30pm she said, "yes". I showed up and she complained the time doing my nails how she was missing going out with friends to watch KU play. She charged $45 and it was not $45 for a gel manicure with a design because I was in about two weeks ago and last time it was $35 and NOT a hot mess. I'm walking around representing BQ nails like this. And I even tipped her. Totaling my gel mani to $50! Half of a hundred! I am not happy what so ever with the job or service. We really liked, Whitney. She did color and highlights to both of girl's hair. This was our first time and we were coming to her because she had been recommended by a friend who thought she could fix some things that had gone wrong previously with a hairstylist and many attempts to get the right color of blonde without orange tones. Whitney made us feel confident in her abilities, and after we communicated what we didn't like and what we actually wanted, she used her problem solving skills to decide the best route to take, rather than expecting non experts to tell her what to do. It is very difficult to find a good hairstylist, especially when your hair is compromised due to an illness. After losing a significant amount of my hair, I decided to get hair extensions. Bloom was recommended to me by a family member, so I decided to go for a hair extension consultation. Megan discussed my options and we decided to do tape in extensions. She was able to match my color perfectly and strategically place the extensions so you cannot see the bonds. She cut the extensions so my hair wasn't such a drastic change.
