I have used Kosmos for years.  Ever since I found them I vowed to never use anyone else. I have followed them everywhere they move to. When I first started using them the were located near or on Spillway Road. I think they have had 4 different locations since I found them!!! I just pray they never move out of state. It will be a long trip to get my hair done!!! I have used more than one of the girls there and love them all. But my main hairdresser is Vicki. No one there has ever messed me up or made me stress over the results of my hair do. It is my go to happy place. If I need a lift, I go get my hair done at Kosmos. They are the BEST. Read Less

I had both a manicure and pedicure today. The owner of the salon was very friendly and helpful to answer my questions. I believe this is one of the better salons I have gone to and found the pricing to be reasonable. I will be returning to take advantage of the services offered and in addition having my hair cut. BEST FAMILY RUN LOCAL BUSINESS IN MADISON COUNTY. Let me walk you through- From front desk business manager Jackie Jenkins (who holds at least a double major if not triple from her alma mater) to receptionist/stylist Mesha relocated from Hattiesburg who rocks the best natural cropped hair ever. Mesha has an incredible amount of range, but excels in short hair styles. Then we have owner since 1985 Vickie. Though short in stature she is constantly striving to do the best techniques and stops short of NOTHING to treat her clients as friends she loves to see. Rachel is our resident redheaded Italian with a wild mane of curly hair. She's your go to if you wanna get out of your comfort zone. She can do short shaves to amazing wild colors. But girl, she will slay on that pretty curl too. Jessica is Vickie and Jackie's sister (Told you-family business). She knows everything from special occasions, any kind of dye job you'd want, to dealing with curls. From funky-to-classy she's gotcha. And she is gonna tell you some wield stories. I'm so happy I found Rachel at Kosmos! She is the best hair designer, hands down. She always listens to what I want and makes sure I leave the salon happy. I've never had as many compliments on my hair and how great it looks. She is so talented at color, too. She is accommodating, funny, knowledgable, and always has recommendations for fun things to try with my hair when I make a trip to the salon. Kosmos is the best! I'm a person likes to change my hair style and color once a while and I tried Vikie, Jessica, Lisa. This is the hair salon I can go and trust them to give me a blonde hair color doesn't turn green. A brown hair color look perfect , a hair cut I don't have to do much after I wash it at home. I was excited to get a manicure from Kosmos because of all the great reviews that I read. I scheduled two back-to-back appointments for my friend and me. I told the lady on the phone that I would like the first appointment to be for 1:30PM. She got the time wrong twice as 1PM, and I corrected her twice and told her 1:30PM. Needless to say, I thought all was well with my appointment time because SURELY she listened to me the second time I corrected her. My friend and I arrived at Kosmos a little before 1:30PM for our manicures and were PROMPTLY turned away because we were "late". I explained to the lady at the desk that it must have been put in the computer wrong and also explained the mix-up that happened on the phone. I didn't even get an "I'm sorry for the mix-up" or anything. Instead, the icy front-desk lady told me that I was wrong and that they were at no fault. What happened to the customer being right? What happened to apologizing for mix-ups with scheduling? An apology (even without a manicure) would have gone a long way for me, and I would have likely given Kosmos another try. However, I guess my money is not worth as much as other people's money to Kosmos. This all to say, I will not be going back.
