For nails and pedicures this is a great place. A little pricey but the cleanliness and comfortable atmosphere of the salon, as well as the expertise of the technicians, is worth it. Ask for Joanne as your nail tech.HOWEVER!! Do NOT - I repeat, DO NOT go here for a haircut!! Kim, the stylist - and I cannot emphasize enough how ill-fitting the term is for her - butchered my hair. Prior to sitting in her chair I had hair down to the middle of my back. It is thick and wavy. I told her I wanted a blunt cut across the back, long layers in the front, and blended on the sides. Kim proceeded to show me 2 inches of length to trim and I agreed. She started in the back so I didn't see what she was doing but something didn't feel or sound right. When I looked down and saw 4 inches of my hair on the floor I said, "What are you doing?! What are you using?" She stepped around to talk to me and she had a razor in her hand! She was cutting my hair with a freaking razor! You do NOT use a razor for a blunt cut! Any first-week salon student knows that!I tried to tell her again what I wanted but she wouldn't let me talk. She kept saying in broken English, "Yeah, I know. I know." She switched to scissors, completely ignoring my instructions. I told her I was VERY unhappy and wanted to leave. She said, "But I make your hair soft!" The rest of the conversation - and I use that term as loosely as Webster will allow - was just as ridiculous. My hair upon leaving the salon was shoulder length, choppy, uneven, and looked like something you would discover on Barbie after a 4 year old with scissors decided to experiment with her hairstyle. I went straight home and fixed the damage myself (I've cut family members' hair for years). The salon owner was very professional and immediately refunded the cost of my haircut when I showed her my hair and told her how unhappy I was. Bottom line: I can definitely recommend them for nails and pedicures, but for a haircut you'd be better off putting your locks in a dull blender! Read Less
