I just moved here from out of state and used to get my nails done at a DaVi near me, the people there were always polite and professional, had tons of color choices and did an AMAZING job, so I decided to stop by the one here in Oxford to just get my cuticles cleaned up and possibly make an appointment for a fill if I liked them. The woman here was RUDE, had no idea why I would want my near splitting dry cuticles done, told me she couldn’t do them unless I was getting a fill and I clearly wasn’t ready for a fill. She wouldn’t even make a fill appointment, she yelled come back. Then proceeded to talk rudely to the other woman there. The woman didn't listen. Told her not to file down my nails, she did anyways and then tried to sell me tips because they were too short! Asked for the gel dip, waited a full 45 minutes of her applying and removing the gel dip before she finally admitted it wasn't working. Blamed it on my nails? Stained my hands, shortened my nails, got snippy with my when I told her that wasn't what I asked for. Ended up getting a gel paint because I needed something on my nails at this point. She didn't suggest it because it was $20 less than the gel dip and refused to give it up. Paid $7 for my niece to get her nails painted and honestly, a 5 year old could have done better. Her nails looked like shit. My nails looked like shit. I paid and gtfo. Perfect opportunity to teach my young neice about tipping and when you shouldn't tip. NEVER will I return. Read Less

There's one lady that I let do my nails at DaVi Nail Salon. There's 3 ladies in this salon and Tina is very good. I moved to Oxford in march 2016 and it took me several months to find someone I liked after going to several places around town. She is good and has been doing nails for a long time. I only get Mani and gel polish on my nails and polish change on my feet. I've never had a problem with her. I am very particular with the way my nails look and I've always been happy with the way my nails look after Tina does them. Thanks so much!!!! Read Less

My first time going to this place of business and it was TERRIBLE SERVICE. NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!!VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THE LADY THAT DID MY NAILS WAS SO MEAN AND VERY HARD ON MY HANDS. I get jell polish all the time and it ususally lasts at least 3 weeks. well when they did them they only lasted a week and they looked terrible. I was going to get a pedicure, but after I saw my nails I told her no thank you. Come to find out she was the lady that does the pedicures, which I think is very nasty!!!! The worst!!!!! I went there to get a nail fixed by the manager.   First,  she insisted on coughing on me, not once but five times,  without covering her mouth. Second,  when I asked to add more acrylic to the nail,  she said she would file it down. ... which this is going to cause the nail to break.  Third,  she talked on the phone the entire time she was working on my nail, which required that I interrupt her conversation. Then,  she responded rudely each time.  Lastly,  she got upset and developed an attitude when I showed her twice that my nail was not even. I used to go here on the regular,  but this lady has consistently reminded me why I should never give her my business.  It's sad too because the location is great and It has the potential to be a great nail shop.
