I have been going to orchid Nails for a few years now thinking that they would get better.  I am a regular EVERY 2 weeks spending anywhere from $50 to $100 each visit.  I always ask for Miya the owner to do my nails because she is good at what she does BUT her attitude is the worse I've ever seen on an owner.  She act like she doesn't want you there but she wants your money.  This last and Final visit I walked in to be directed to a new male tech.  I told them I wanted to wait on Miya and it seem like her husband and the new guy got an attitude.  Finally she comes to do my nails and seem like she's had a bad day.  She rushes me through my manicure and at the end she missed some steps leaving her husband to finish it up.  Pedicure on last visit was the same way, didn't even let my feet get wet.  Then I tell them that I want my eyebrows waxed and she starts on another lady and leave me sitting there for another 20 minutes or so.  I've heard Miya be very rude to other customers telling them to go back to where they got their nails done previously because they were coming in to get a repair and wanted the same color that the other salon had given them.  This was not just this visit, it's ALL the time!!! They have a few people they talk nice too but that's not very often. Many occasions she will tell people to come back later.  Who does that?!?!?!? I think I will rather go to 2 or 3 other salons until I can find one that will appreciate my business. I'm never going back there!!!! The guy overcharged me 2 different times. When I brought it to his attention he insisted it was an honest mistake. I always tip so I didn't make a big deal about it. They have added a new, young, male technician who is horrible with shellac. The last time he polished my nails, it lasted 3 days before started peeling. After my pedicure tonight they sent him over to polish my nails. I didn't want to be rude but I wasn't willing to have to repeat the visit in three days either. I ask if I could wait for a different tech to polish my nails and I was told no. I couldnt believe they thought they could force me to accept terrible service!!!! NOT today or ever.. Of course I was overcharged $4 AGAIN. It's simple math people... I'll never come here again!!!!! Read Less

Sometimes wait is long but I figure they are that good. No complaints. Love the way Emily does nails. I see a lot of women come in with attitude expecting to be moved to front of line. They don't play that and I'm guessing that's what's gone on with the 1 star reviews. They give it back if you offer it. Read Less

They don't deserve even one star. First of all I went to get a fill they didn't acknowledge me. While waiting some lady walks in says she needs a nail repair sits down and gets service. I'm like what the hell really? I had been waiting 30 minutes and she walks in after me and get service? So I left. They will never get my money.Read Less

My sister, my mom, and I all came in to get services. My sister had been to this establishment previously and got a beautiful shellac manicure, so my mother and I thought we would give it a try, especially since the services seemed reasonably priced for the services she received. When we arrived all was well we were greeted by a man and told to pick out our colors. If you are getting shellacs they have their colors on a card with pre-painted nails so you know exactly how the color will look on your nails. I picked a color and a lady started on my manicure but once she began painting my nails, I realized that the color was much darker than the one shown on the swatches. I told the manicurist this and she asked me did a select the color I thought I did. What!?! Is she calling me stupid? So we look at the colors together, and she rolls her eyes and tells me that the color has faded from nail. She the proceeds to ask why I didn't tell her about the problem sooner. How soon should I catch your mistakes? I should have walked out of there right then and there, but I stayed and let her mumble in foreign languages to the other employees about me. She then painted over the dark pink polish with the pale pink I originally asked for. It doesn't look horrible, but I definitely won't be returning for either he customer service or the quality of my nails. Neither will my friends and family. There was many other people in the shop that were disappointed and upset about the wait time. I have been going to Orchid Nails for a few years now.  The ladies are all very nice.  They all work very hard, especially when there is a wait.  The prices are very reasonable.  One of the best places in Olive Branch for nails. Read Less
