I just want to start off by saying, I have gone to this salon many times in the past. Although customer service hasn’t always been the best, I’ve always overlooked it because NYN was my go to salon. However, my most recent trip there has made it to where I am certain that I will not be returning. A few days ago I went into the salon to get my acrylic nails filled in. I told the woman and went and picked out my color. Another woman came out and started to take the polish off of my old acrylics, like usual. When she was done, she took a fake nail that is used underneath the acrylic, and started to pry off the nails that I had glued on. Keep in mind that I had only had these nails on for about a week and a half and they were nowhere near ready to be taken off. This woman rips my nails off and then proceeds to redo them all from scratch. I know for a fact that nail salons are supposed to soak off acrylics so that they don’t harm the customer or their nails. After she finished redoing the nails, the woman proceeds to charge me full price for not only an entire full set (which keep in mind is about twice the same price of a refill) but then she decides to try and charge me for the removal of my the nails that I had on when I came in. After talking with the ladies they decided to give me a “discount “ and not charge me for the removal. My nails were sore the rest of the day from her method of removal, not to mention that she made me bleed several times from the electric filer. Probably the worst pedicure I've ever received in my life. Not only was it halfway done, they have it advertised at $25 (which is supposedly the cheapest) once its time to pay they charge you $30. Its only been 2 whole days and my toes are chipping already. Their polish does not fit the caliber they are trying to portray, which is Dollar store quality. Ive never felt so ripped off. I went and I paid $45 for a "pedicure and manicure" where my feet were not rubbed (and everyone else's were), my toe nails not painted (at my request), and a "manicure" without lotion and no polish (again at my request) and was still charged for a full pedicure and manicure even though I told them I had not received the full treatment. Who I assumed to be the owner was very rude and not understanding and refused to change the amount due. My mom's pedicure was completely worth the $30 she paid because he lady was nice and attentive and did the full work, but mine was not $45 worth. Would not recommend. Read Less

have to wait too long. Impossible to do on a lunch hr. After making appt. my eyelash girl, Jenny was with a customer & told me it would be 10 min. After 40 min, another lady walked to the back for eyebrows. Jenny did her, so I left. Hmmm. Time to find another place. I tip $10.00 every time. No more of that place for me! Read Less
