We went here after trying on wedding dresses for my friend who is getting married. We got the Mimosa package, and it was total posh treatment! They really went above and beyond to make the bride feel special, including pictures of the event and special decorations! I also got one of the best pedicures I've ever had. ABSOLUTELY the worst management personnel IVE EVER encountered in my life!!! VERY bossy woman "greeted" us upon arrival; assigned seats to us. Techs were very sweet/cordial, but "owners" were horrific-over charged EVERY single person in our party! They bullied/made fun of our guests from Europe for their tipping. He DEMANDED at least 20% tip from us, after insulting our guests from abroad! I've lived in Portland for 61 years and have NEVER run into this rudeness-was EMBARASSING to try to explain that all Americans are not this rude!!! When I first started getting my nails done here my nails always came out flawless. Lately, the Gel polish has been chipping badly at the tip of one or two fingers. The older lady (nail tec) does sloppy work and does not care to correct her mistakes once you speak about it. Now I'm gonna give Diamond Nail Studio a try and see how it goes. Read Less

My daughter and I was visiting from out of town last month and decided to get a mani/pedi here, based on the few positive reviews. Pretty large nail salon but certainly not very clean. The pedicure chair were split/torn. My first mindset was to get up and walk out, but I was spending special girl things with my daughter. The pedicure tools were sitting in a cup, wasn't sure if they had been disinfected or not, so I asked that the be cleaned. The technician that I had didn't speak or understand english, so I had to get everything translated through another technician. I am used to a nice gentle but firm massage to my lower legs, this lady beat the heck out them. She used goes spacers that clearly were too large for my petite toes, forcing my baby toe till it split. OUCH! Pls stop. Then the more experienced tech grabbed a tube antiseptic ointment and rubbed the tipped of the tube in my open wound. UGH! In addition to this unrelaxing experience, we had to encounter an heated argument between a distraught customer and a male tech, over how he was incorrectly doing her acrylic nails. He was rude and unprofessional. I eventually lost my tech, because she couldn't polish toes at all, barely could she do fingers.So for all my troubles that I freely walked into, I pulled out my card to pay and was told that they charge $2.00 for using credit card. So I asked if they except debit cards, indeed they do. $2.00 extra for debit card. I was so done. Do yourself a favor and get your nails done somewhere else. Read Less

I ALWAYS choose Mimosa for mani-pedis. No other place I have found in the area feels so good from the moment I step in the door, and no other place does such high-quality work!
