Normally I do not choose this nail salon, because I have had a couple bad experiences with service & product. BUT today I came in as a walk-in and was helped right away and the nail tech I had was by far the best I have ever had ANYWHERE. She was attentive. Patient (even though they had people walking in every minute). She was not in a hurry. She was polite and made conversation. She explained prices and packages of pedicures before we started. This is the absolute worst salon I've ever been to. It doesn't even deserve one star. My daughter was quoted 30ish dollars for a full set of nails. She asked the guy how much more it would be for the S&S package. He told her 10 dollars. At he end he charged her 61 dollars. That price isn't even on the brochure. The quality was the worst i've seen. They did offer to fix them but it was literally every single nail and we had already been there for 2 1/2 hours. I asked them to take the nails off and I asked for a refund. They took the nails off and said I wouldn't get a refund. I asked to speak to a manager and they said they didn't have one. I asked for them to call one.. they refused. I asked to get the owners number and that's when they called the police on me. I was so shocked at the way we were being treated that I began recording the conversation. He argued and called my daughter a liar when she explained that she's had these nails done before and that it's never looked that bad- he said that's your opinion. The police came and said it was civil - I told them that I had it all recorded and he told me to hold on to that recording. We left. I'll call the BBB Monday AM. Beautiful atmosphere and had a wonderful experience. Adam was my nail technician and I was very pleased with everything. I felt that there was high quality products and equipment. I thoroughly enjoyed the herbal pedicure I received and the massage chairs only enhanced my comfort and relaxation. Was actually going to go to a different nail salon but it was closed on Sunday. Decided to try out Mystic Nails and the service was great!! Staff was very friendly. Loved how my nails came out. The atmosphere is clean and great, I've always had good experiences but this last mani pedi has been awful. My polish is supposed to be white, but it looks like a toasted marshmallow and my toes have lots of chips already and even my gel mani has chipped. Only after a couple of days. This place is a bit too pricey for their product to chip so shortly. Disappointed. Read Less

I was appalled by the lack of customer service upon entering the salon. In fact, I chose not to stay after another client also complained. The lady that greeted me acted like she wasn't interested in helping me and then she spoke to another nail tech in Vietnamese and I understood. i am very disappointed with my manicure. he cut 3 of my fingers causing them to bleed..and i can paint my own nails better than the job he did. bummed i paid $20 for that i go to Mystic to get my eyebrows waxed, and i will say they do a good job at that .. that's why i gave them 2 stars. Read Less

I am new to town. The service is courteous. I'd recommend asking how the customer likes their legs and feet massaged. When removing my gel polish they did not file the top polish to speed up the removal process but was still gentle on scraping the gel off.They no long offer the express pedicure that is still listed however I fully enjoyed the classic pedicure! I am appalled at the service here. First, the women who started my gel polish didn't even speak to me, but spoke in Vietnamese to her co-workers the entire time. I have no idea what they were saying, but it is frustrating to be in that awkward situation. It did appear at times that they were speaking about me. Well I have been here before and had great service. So up until this past Sunday when I sent my cousin and her friend there I had no complaints. Now taking into consideration this was my 17 yr old cousin who isnt one to always get pampered. Fowarding to the pedicure, the lady was very rude and proceeded to speak to her coworkers in vietnamese. This I am use to because my boyfriend is Vietnamese and I have several vietnamese friends as well. So I have heard with my own ears t...he conversations in nail salons before about customers and have always kept my mouth shut. Her technician told her to hold her foot up so she could scrub the bottom of her foot and apparently it wasn't to the height she liked so after rudely telling her higher then jerking her foot she started speaking in vietnamese and my cousin was smart enough to record the lady talking about how lazy she was that she couldn't even hold her leg up. Little does she know that 17 yr old she was giving a pedicure for is a star athlete with scholarships to college so not lazy!! The conversation about my cousin went on for several minutes and if proof is needed she still has the recording. Just got a pedicure from Bic.  She did a good job and was very friendly. The sanitation is excellent.  The use a new sink liner for each client, use sterlized tools and gloves.The pedicure chairs are comfortable and the massagers in the chair are strong and feel great.My boyfriend and I were able to get our pedicures together in a private room which was nice.On the downside, they don't offer anything to drink not even water.  I wish I would have known so I could have brought something. I don't know how they have so many negative reviews! The other nearby nail salon let a customer throwing a fit jump ahead of us, so we walked out and drove over here. Our technicians have been very polite and sensitive to needs, allowing us to decide which pedicure we wanted (there are about 4 options). It is not over priced. Will definitely return!! Read Less

Making an appointment is close to pointless. Unless you know which technician you want don't bother making an appointment. They seem to go by a first come, first serve basis for the most part. The lady who did my pedicure spoke little English, was very rough when doing my pedicure, and the leg massage was barely a massage (and very short). OK so she was nice and that was about it. The other employees did speak English, made small talk with their customers, & appeared to be doing a more thorough job on the pedicures so your experience depends on your technician.The place is kept very clean. Paid for an upgraded pedicure, and I felt like the person who did them rushed through the whole thing. I still had some excess skin on the bottom of my feet that wasn't scrubbed off correctly. My toes look great, but I wasn't thrilled I paid extra money for a rushed pedicure. Read Less

My nails do not look bad but I have never been charged so much money in my life! I always get a fill and pedicure with gel nail polish and usually pay 60 dollars. I just spent 100 dollars there and the girl didn't even give me a hot towel that was specified in the deluxe and on top of that I paid 35 dollars for gel nail polish ON TOP OF the 36 for the pedicure. I know gel costs extra but 35 dollars extra is absolutely ridiculous. I will never go to this place again. Totally not worth it what so ever. Read Less

While stationed at Keesler AFB, I went to Mystic Nails about 5 times. The owner is hilarious! He was so friendly! Let me just say Vana is AMAZING!! She gets booked up pretty fast so make sure you make an appointment! Otherwise the do your typical walk-ins as well. My Saturday night was spent being drug from casino to casino to watch my "date" gamble away money he could have bought me a nice seafood dinner with, but that's neither here nor there. I mean I actually wore heels for the guy. I digress, I was shopping at Target up there the next day and decided I deserved some pampering by golly. I saw this place while I was driving by and drug my swollen dogs in. They welcome walk-ins and had several amazing pedicures to choose from. My only complaint is they didn't offer me any wine to help me forget my previous nights escapade, but I'll let that one slide. My guy was hilarious and could tell just how I liked it. I had such a great time I sprung for a shellac manicure. They have a wide variety of great colors and if you ask nicely they will change the music from waterfalls and rain forests to the R&B classics from the 90's. This Salon is horrible!!! Worst customer service, we made an appt, but still had to wait and they were yelling and pointing at each other on who would service us. I understand that it's an in and out service, but heck! They should still cater to ALL customers and not just their regulars! I went in for some much needed relaxing and a much needed manicure and pedicure. It's a beautiful salon and I was helped right away. I ended up getting an herbal pedicure and gelish manicure. For the pedicure I chose the anti-congestion option and they put a eucalyptus and peppermint tea in the water for my feet, and used exfoliant, lotion, and oil with the same scents. It was wonderful and my nails turned out great. As for the manicure, it's almost a week later and it still looks great. I do 1-2 loads of dishes a day, am still unpacking, and taking care of my one year old son. I'm am very happy with my experience and nails. I can't wait to go back, but it looks like it may be sometime before I need it! Read Less

Not the worst but pretty damn near the worst pedicure I've ever had. The kid working on my feet looked like he was half asleep or high the entire time. He worked super slow, half ass, and didn't even clean all the products (mask, exfoliant, oils, and lotion) off my feet. I had to ask him to clean under two of my nails. He didn't get all my cuticles out because my nail Polish went completely over it on some of my toes. The massage was like 3 minutes each foot and had no pressure whatsoever. He started to put hot towels as my sandals were already on (I had to ask him to take the sandals off). When he took the towels off, he didn't wipe my feet like I saw all the other employees do. I thought he was doing well with the polish at least until I looked at the end and all the Polish was over my cuticles as I said earlier. There should be a description on their brochure for each category of service you're getting because I was getting a deluxe (the highest) and so was the lady next to me, but she was getting more treatment than I was. Went in for a gel polish manicure. My nail tech was great. Didn't feel the need to chat the whole time. Just the right amount. Thought he did an excellent job with the mani that I decided to get a gel polish pedicure. He let me know right off the bat that gel polish pedis were an additional $35 on top of the pedi instead of me learning at the end. I thought that was considerate. Great pedicure. Asked for a design on the toe..he couldn't do them so he asked someone else to- she was great also. Gel mani/pedi plus design on the big toe was a total $105. Salon was clean...I liked the plastic liners for the pedi bowls. No tv's, which I liked..nice soothing music. Read Less

Romeo is by far the best nail tech on The Gulf Coast! His shellac manicures last forever, and he always gives a great pedicure as well. The salon is extremely clean! They even use plastic liners in each pedicure bowl. They also have a huge selection of shellac or gel manicure colors. Read Less
