This place is AMAZING. Or rather, Charley and Kim are amazing. If you want the best manicure you've ever had...go see Charley. I've neglected my nails because I am usually disappointed after a manicure. But...not this time. Charley took her time and did a fantastic job. They looked so good, I opted to not cover them with colored nail polish and go clear coat. My cuticles have been tamed! My husband got a pedicure from Kim and left equally as happy. I went here for the first time today and I will definitely be back. Their customer service was excellent and didn't let me pay for or get services that weren't really needed instead of just saying ok and taking my money. See... When I see hella red stars when checking out a place, I get hyped. I get so stoked and then when I have a less than 3-4 star experience it's make me lose so much hope for this city and state. I walk in to a decently busy place. I tell them that I need a gel mani and would need the previous gel mani soaked off. I was told to sit in one of the tech's station. I don't recall her name but 10min later she sat and started to file out the gel. Then she gets called to go elsewhere so I wait for another tech. I don't recall her name either but she sits and I shit you not was like slowest nail tech I have ever come across in my 28 years of existence. From filing to foiling to UNFOILING to the actual session. She spoke English but very slow in her speech. I thought maybe she wasn't feeling well and/or maybe her hands were hurting. (I know first hand when you work with your hands, you HAVE to take care of them otherwise they will have you retiring early). For a gel mani, the whole process took well over 2 hours. TWO HOURS! The gel was applied evenly and that much I appreciated but it wasn't applied thoroughly, especially on the sides or down to the base. Mother and daughter run the show which is dope. Except they seem to only cater to a certain demographic which was obvious to me. The one thing I did appreciate is that they give you the buffer and file to take it or they will toss. For their repeat clients, they keep them in individual plastic containers, labeled for their next session. Read Less

I'm on vacation here and I wanted my nails done. I love the fact this woman took her time to do them but waiting an hour and 15-30 minutes getting them done was long enough. My cuticles are aching and bleeding. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

Well I've been going there and only there to get my nails done for as long as I've lived here. It's the only salon where the the staff is friendly but yet very professional as well. I know of several Elite women of this city get their nails/feet taken care of as well. I got a manicure and pedicure. They were the worst I have ever gotten. She skipped steps in both and it seemed as if she was just lazy. No massage, she just rubbed the lotion in. She didn't talk the entire time and was extremely slow. They also use a heel shaver there and I'm almost positive that it is illegal to use those anymore according to the rules and regulations from the state board of cosmetology. I'm pretty sure she didn't clean the files that she used during my manicure and pedicure and instead of wax strips they use scrap pieces of paper. I'm pretty sure the stylist applied the wax to the area she just waxed more than once and that is a no-no. I was extremely disappointed and will not be going back there. Read Less

I really like this place. No one bothers you with pointless and endless conversation...they let you relax. Ann did a wonderful job on my deluxe pedicure and the experience was fabulous! They have the best massage chairs and the massage they do on your feet and legs feels heavenly. She made my feet look and feel amazing and they give you your own personalised box of tools for when you come back. I plan on making good use of it and coming back every time I need nail services. So got a mani-pedi and microderm facial a couple of weeks ago, and let me just say WOW!  These people really know how to pamper. I had the best microderm. I have to say you def get more than your money's worth. However, if you are a novice to microderm facials, this facial will seem pretty intense. No facial with extractions is pleasant, but the end result is worth it. My face was smooth and polished, and my pores were cleared! Sassy Nails is def thorough as far as facials go. Read Less

I went to Sassy nails and I wanted my nails sharp and pointed. I asked the nail tech and she said she didn't like that style of nail design,I then said that I liked it. She continued on about her dislike of the nail design and said they were called stiletto nails,and that African American women" like them,me being African America ,I thought to myself for a moment as of how I should take her comment. I must admitt that I immediately felt a certain way about it. I began to feel a little offended but did not cause a scene,truth is women of all color wear pointed nails and being black has nothing to do with it.
