The front desk lady (Tiffany) was rude as hell!!! I came to the nail salon 2 weeks ago & my service was 5 stars, best nail shop i’ve ever been to; but me & my sister(11 yrs old) came in yesterday and I was getting a pedi & fill in while my sister was getting a full set. I was told that she would have to wait which was fine because we didn’t have an appointment but after an hour went by, she still wasn’t serviced. I thought maybe Tiffany forgot because is a child in the nail salons, so I mentioned to Phu ( person who did my nails who was a great person) that my sis was also getting her nails done so he reminded Tiffany that she was waiting & she RUDELY said out loud “idc she’s gonna have to wait they didn’t make an appointment” while she slams her pencil down. I was on the verge of going off on her because she’s a child & she could’ve approached in a different way!!! She was very very rude, she eye balled me the whole time I was in there. Even though she was a HORRIBLE clerk, my service was awesome & so was my sisters. But they should seriously get another front desk clerk. She doesn’t even welcome you in with a smile or anything!! My 11 year old daughter went with a friend to get a pedicure. She’s young and shy and hasn’t learn to speak up when something doesn’t look right. When she came home her nails looked fine but she had paint on her skin that wasn’t cleaned off prior to leaving the salon. My wife called just to explain what had happened and spoke to Tiffany (who said she was the manager). My wife said she wasn’t happy with how they turned out and Tiffany offered no sort of option to fix the problem. After a pause, when my wife said that she probably wouldn’t be a repeat customer, Tiffany said “OK, bye” and hung up the phone. This is not the nail place that my wife normally uses, and maybe this is just a one-off bad experience. I firmly believe that the customer is NOT always right, but at least make an effort to make amends with the customer. To top it off, my daughter left a $10 tip. We teach our kids to tip those who work in the service industry at least 20 percent. I guess we can check it off as a life lesson for my daughter. Read Less

I came in on my lunch break and needed to have my nails slimmed down because the woman who originally did them left them square and not rounded also very wide and chunky. I came back after work and simply asked if someone could file them down. The front desk blonde said she'd let her know. I sat for 30 minutes and she came to me and told me me either wait an hour or I can come back... two nail techs were free and walk ins were being seen before I was.. and I had been here sin...ce 5:00 and it was nearing 5:50. She advised me I'd be charged if someone else trimmed my nails down- why should I have to pay if I asked for a more square round and you give me full on square... I didn't have any more time I was over lunch by 30 minutes. The front desk girl was sitting there talking about me to someone else. I saw her pointing at me three times while covering her mouth talking to another nail tech. If you can't act professionally when someone simply says they need their nails filed down a little, you probably shouldn't work their. Never in my life. You would never catch me pointing and whispering at customers who pay and tip well just because they ask me to make a small change. I won't be back... only one person who as decent towards me. The front desk girl was DEFINITELY not one of them. THEN I'm pretty sure her name was Tiffany walked around me multiple times making comments about I should have told her I had a problem with my nails. Very nice facility pedicures or the best herbal pedicures are even better they have manicurist and barbers. I go once a month, the remove or correct my ingrown toe nails. The pedi chairs message really good. They offer soda and wine during your stay. Big screen TV for your entertainment. Staff is super friendly. Best nail shop on the gulf coast, I have had pedicures ar over a dozen, great place for relaxing. I think they have a masseuse on duty. This was my first and last time giving my business to this salon. The lady at the front desk was very rude. I walked in, was not greeted with a hello, a smile or anything. It was as if she could care less that someone had just come in the door. I walked to the counter, and she still didn’t say anything. So I had to say hello I’m here for a pedicure and full set. Her response was what shape and to pick a color. Not a good first impression at all. Anyway, my pedicure was very relaxing. I was offered complimentary wine and the tech took her time. Once it was time to do my nails, I liked the way they turned out but noticed that the tech was applying a lot of acrylic to my nails, and they just looked very thick. I liked the color and the shape though. I paid and left. Later that night I was looking under my nails and noticed that my real nails had already separated from the tip of the fake nail. This is absurd. I’m not sure if it’s the glue that was used or the fact that there was so much acrylic applied to my nail, but this has never happened to me before, and normally doesn’t start to happen until I’ve had a refill about 2 times. Was here getting my fingernails done for almost THREE hours and not to mention my nails do not look anything like i asked! Why would i ask to get tips when in the end it doesn’t look like i has tips at all bc she kept messing up and filed them all down. These techs are absolutely, 100% AMAZING!!!! My mother-in-law has ALS, is confined to a wheelchair, and can't stand or speak at all on her own. Not only did these guys give her and I excellent service but they went above and beyond accommodating her and her needs. ❤ no fussing or complaining, just 100% dedicated to giving us the 5 star treatment! I can't even begin to explain how important this was to us and how much they made our day!! ❤❤❤❤ we appreciate everything and are so happy with our mani-pedis!!! You guys rock! In the past few months, I’ve been getting gel manicures at the Biloxi cedar lake location. I’ve had a nail tech that has been so rough on my hands that it has caused bleeding. I first decided against reporting it- however, last week after giving them another chance the same thing happened. Also, within two days the gel polish had literally peeled off the nails. I contacted the shop twice and left my name and number for a manager to discuss this, no answer or call back. I will not be giving this place anymore business. Read Less

Not my usual nail place, but i have heard nothing but good things from my friends so I decided to try it out. The front desk clerk, blonde hair (worked this past Friday) was extremely rude. I dont expect a grand arrival or exit, but a smile and a hello would have been appreciated. She was on her phone talking to a tech when I walked in and when i left... could care less about my presence. I decided to forget it and went on my way. As an owner of several small businesses, I don't ever post negative reviews unless absolutely necessary. To me, it's doing the general public a disservice by not sharing pictures and feedback of my experience. I can't tell you how many simple gel manicures I have gotten, but this one was by far may have been the most expensive and certainly the crappiest one I've received. I noticed it hurting when the nail tech was cutting my cuticles, but I had no idea it was because of ...actual damage to my fingers. When I got in my car to go home, I looked down and all of my nails were bleeding. I posted on FB when I got home on what I could do to stop the burning and pain and the first 2 pics were taken then. The next 3 pics were taken today, less than 1 week from the initial manicure, and you can see the scabs of the wounds and the fact the polish is coming off. My nails haven't chipped or anything. Just the polish is coming off. To say I'm frustrated and very upset would be an understatement. I went to the salon to give it a try. The first time I had some minor issues but nothing that made me completely unsatisfied with this place. I decided to give queens another chance because I understand that any business has off days sometimes. I was a walk in, but was able to get in fairly quickly. I told the lady doing my hands and toes what I wanted. I usually get gel on my toes because it dries quicker, but since I was in flip-flops, I decided to go with regular polish. S...he then began to argue with me and insisting that I get gel on my toes, so I did. I was so unsatisfied with this visit, I will no longer be returning. I am now at a different nail salon, where I am just now told that the "gel" polish that I paid extra for at queens, is NOT gel polish. I love going here! I moved to the Gulf Coast a little over a year ago and left my favorite nail tech back in Florida. I was worried i would not find anyone like her. So i checked around, went to different places and seen people my coworkers recommended. My nails always kept breaking, paint chipping (even when i got gel) No luck. I went to Queens randomly with a group of coworkers. Tea did my nails that day and i love his work. I haven't been to anyone else. He is the "go-to" guy if you want good work. I have never had a nail break on its own (what i mean is i have broken a nail when i did myself, not because the acrylic broke on its own). I tell everyone i can to go here. This spa is clean, professional, and the staff is very friendly. I have lived on the coast three years and I've never been impressed with a salon like I am this one. I did go back to get my manicure redone but that's because the polish I chose was a glitter based one and the tech and I were chatting so much that he didn't realize that he didn't put on a base coat first. He was honest with me and said it'd look better with a base underneath the glitter. I thought I looked good but I appreciated his honesty. I declined to let him start over because I had another appointment to get to but I returned on today since he insisted and I'm glad I did. This salon was recommended by a friend but turned out to be quite a disappointment. I went with my mother and my maid of honor to get mani/pedis for my wedding. We all three had negative experiences. Turned out to be the worst mani/pedi I've received so far and highly over priced. I paid $100 for both basic shellac mani and pedi and I normally pay that price at the Four Seasons Hotel Spa in Austin, Texas where I live and have a much more beautiful experience. To top it off, my nail tech was not friendly or nice either which was disappointing, as well. If I asked her questions or told her I wanted things a certain way she gave me very objectionable looks. The salon also looks very fancy but it doesn't live up to expectations. Deviated from my normal salon while I was in the area based on a recommendation from a coworker. Salon is nice, people are great....nails terrible. My shellac polish had large air bubbles on a couple of nails, and one has come off after barely a week. My friend's shellac came completely off on two nails the very next day. Recently had a pedicure done paid for a deluxe pedicure. It was over in 30 minutes and was absolutely the worst pedi I have ever had. I have never had a pedi hurt before. While trimming cuticles, twice I was cut and actually drew blood. The polish was applied terribly with lines and not fully covering the nail. Will not return, ever. I used to love going here to get my nails done. Over the past year or so, they've hired a lot of new staff and it seems like the quality of service has gone down tremendously. It seems like services are rushed through and half done now. The last time I went here, I went to have my eyebrows waxed. I waited over an hour and watched 2 people that came in after me have their eyebrows done ahead of me.  When I went to the counter to ask about service, they told me that no one had told her about me being there and that it would be another 30 minutes before I could be seen.  I walked out without being seen and haven't been back since. I got the worst haircut ever. I had to go back and get it fixed. It was so bad she said, "you're just going to have to let it grow out!" Kay did great on my nails, but the manager scolded her for running late into her next appointment which made me feel guilty that I was taking too long. I felt like I was second rate. The pedi was great. The polish lasted 4 weeks. They charge you for every little thing. While my toes and nails turned out great, the jacked up hair and rude manager made me feel 'icky.' I am giving three stars instead of one because I did actually leave there with AMAZING looking nails.I chose this location because on yellowpages.com it said there is a 20% discount for new clients.  I get there, and the girl at the counter says that I can only get that if I printed the coupon from yellowpages, so I cannot get that discount.  I later got the manager (I think he was, at least) to agree that the discount does actually apply if its on your phone.So the nail tech "Thien" tells me that its literally impossible to paint a line across the top of my nails with paint underneath, like a french manicure (although I do this every few weeks at various nail salons).  Then he finally agrees to do it, as long as I understand it will probably look crappy, AND that it will have a $15 upcharge.  After the manager (?) corrected him that it was actually less, he became quite agitated.   After he realized I was also getting 20% off of my services, he was even MORE agitated.The fact that Thien did a BEAUTIFUL job on my nails does not take away from the fact that he was so visibly agitated over a "special" (not really) request, and even angrier that I wasn't being made to pay the small fortune that he wanted me to pay for it.   I was offered the opportunity to fill out a comment card with my issues, for a chance to win a free haircut, but since I do not live in Biloxi, I wouldn't be here to use it anyway... Me and my husband are from New Orleans. He wanted to treat me to a pedicure and found Queens. This was one of the best places that I have ever been to. Both my husband and I got pedicures. They offer complementary drinks while getting pedicure. No harsh chemical smells like some other nail salons. Was extremely relaxing. Many choices for pedicures. Chris and Teresa were excellent. Chris did a  great job on the entire pedicure especially the nail polish. I have been to many places where the polish was still on the sides. Teresa was great with my husband-as men have rough feet.  Very polite and very attentive. Explained the many choices and suggested what was the best for each of us. I'm so dissatisfied, the spa is beautiful but when you pay close to $200 to have your hair done you expect the best. I sat in the chair for just about 4 hours to come home and still have the same roots I walked in with (I loved the color) but my roots in the front of my head were never touched with color. I returned to have the problem corrected gave up another hour and half of my time to return home and look at my hair under normal lighting to still have roots and now I have bleached strands of hair in the front of my head that do not blend with the rest of the color. I was not looking for any crazy colors, just a natural look. So disappointed. If you are going to charge that amount of money then your employees better know what they are doing especially when I return a second time to have my hair done because the roots were never covered the first time. This is the best Nail place around the gulf coast! the atmosphere is absoutely stunning and beautiful, hence the name "Queen's Nails". The interior design and equipments are beautiful! You really do feel like a Queen here! And the service is wonderful! They offer many special offers and even accomodate you with a free drink/wine of your choice. The best Nail place I've ever been too and the staffs are so kind! Try to get the hot stone deluxe pedi and mani, this is what I had! You really get what you pay for. They have waxing service here and also beginning January of 2012, the owner is going to expand next door into a Queen's Nails, Hair & Day spa, with spray Tanning, hair and also professional MASSAGE! (I can't wait!!) I definitely go here for all of my beauty care.. Plus the location is perfect, it's right next to smoothieking, subway, gym, pharmacy,etc..
