I made a mani/pedi appointment for my two daughters and myself a month in advance of our vacation.  I was told three days before the appointment that they were not going to be able to "fit us in" anymore for the gels that we wanted, but instead could just do regular mani/pedis. I was in disbelief.....no trying to reschedule them, no apologies.....nothing!  I will NEVER be returning to Frenchies and I will be passing this info along to all of my neighbors!!  No wonder there is never anyone is that place!!! The bench seating for pedicures has to go.  Overall I just felt exposed and kind of scrunched, not very comfortable.  (I missed a massage chair!) Atmosphere is clean and bright, tools were clean.  Deer in headlights when I asked for a design . Also it doesn't seem like the salon offers anything to drink with your service.  Ok experience probably won't return though for the price. Read Less

Very clean and extra educated on nail care. They make you feel comfortable with what they're doing and they actually open up a new package of nail tools for each person! I usually never see that at other salons and you also never know what exactly they've sanitized. Frenchie's is a great place and I'll always recommend for a great Manicure! Read Less

This is the second time I've arrived for an appointment booked weeks in advance and they had no record of the booking. No offer to bring to the manager's attention, no offer to squeeze us in due to their mistake, no offer to give a discount on a future visit. Nothing. Wonderful service and salon. I have avoided nail salons for years due to the loud, bright, often heavily perfumed & chemical filled environment that is anything but relaxing. From the moment I stepped foot in Frenchie's, I was instantly soothed. It's a serene, quiet space that even my extremely scent-sensitive self had no issues with. In fact, I'm returning today for another service. If you have issues with scent or noise bothering you, fear not at Frenchie's. None of those things are present in this jewel of a place. Came in for my appointment today (5/17) and was blown away from the minute I walked in-by the look, cleanliness, service and all around experience. Unlike every other mani & pedi I have had- coffee while I had my pedi and some great conversation along with some great education on why they did things a bit different!  I will be back and I will look for a Frenchies when I travel. Super clean and modern salon. However, overly priced and they didn't even clean out my toenails. (Sounds gross but for real, when you get a pedicure, don't you expect them to clean out the dirt?!) Also they don't have dryers and just told me to be careful for 30 minutes. Ain't nobody got time for that! Read Less

Absolutely love this nail salon. I was beyond impressed on my first visit. The nail specialist are educated, the salon is beautiful, and the products they use are amazing. I also thought the cleanliness was outstanding. There are so many scary stories of nail salons giving fungus or staff infections and this will not happen here they even sterilize their implements. I got a pedicure at Frenchies for the first time this past weekend and I am so excited to have a nail salon like this in Woodbury! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how stylish and clean the entire salon was. The employees are welcoming and easy to talk to. The woman at the front desk took the time to explain the types of nail polish and potential add-ons, so you know exactly what you're getting and for how much. The service was the most relaxing and thorough I've ever had, and my feet have never been so soft. An all around great experience. I love my pedicure and highly recommend Frenchies! Read Less

I receive manicures and pedicures regularly and checked out Frenchies yesterday with some friends. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of service and the quality of the salon. It was incredibly easy to book an online appointment and we were greeted enthusiastically and kindly as soon as we entered. The pricing (including any add-ons) were clearly explained and the pricing was very reasonable. I've paid a lot more for a pedicure at Aveda or similar-typed salons and not had as positive an experience. My technician was really nice and fun to chat with. She did a great job and was gentle with my nails and my pedicure looks fantastic. To top it off, it was a very clean and sterile environment. Such a cute name. The place is so clean and sanitary. Germophobes unite! This place is for you!  They offer cute pedi sinks sans jets (where all of those germs to get trapped inside) The files and clippers we very sterile.  I did miss the pedi massage chair that most nail places offer. My express mani/pedi was $60. I wish I would have known that a higher upgraded nail polish called vinylux costed 5 more dollars. They matched it with each OPI color on the nail color wall and highly recommended it but didn't say it was a upcharge. Having had my nails done many times I do know gel costs more which is not what Vinylux is. I did upgrade my nails to a OPI gel polish for $13 more dollars. Grand total of $78 dollars for a upgrade express mani/pedi. Geesh! Plus tip of course. Everyone was very friendly. With in two days my toes with the Vinylux had chipped and in three days my gel mani was starting to lift and chip. Can't say that for that kind of money for a express service that didn't hold up. An unbelievable experience at this nail salon!  Rae did an awesome job on my gel mani - never thought I would go with blue polish but I LOVE it!  Then I had an amazing pedi by Julie.  That massage was just what my feet needed.  I HIGHLY recommend this place - it is super cute and extremely clean.  Best yet, it smells heavenly!  Ask for the lemon grass scrub.  So happy I found this gem. After reading these few reviews I wanted to give this place the benefit of a doubt. I must say I was not overly impressed.  The tech who did my daughters nails barely spoke to her, infact he seemed annoyed by our presence.  The tech who did my nails was a little more chatty and friendly.  The shop was definitely clean and I was impressed by that.  The decor was very contemporary.  The hostess was charming and friendly and helpful with my younger son.  As for the service I was disappointed.  For the price I paid my feet were hardly massaged and my hands were not massaged at all ( always my favorite part )!  This salon is the most expensive I have been to.  I was impressed by the cleanliness and how the tools are sterilized,  but it felt a bit lacking on the rest of the service. Unfortunately my gel nail polish chipped after 3 days of getting them done. The nail tech didn't do much of a massage, more so just put the lotion on my hands and that was it. I felt like it was way overpriced for the service that I got. I'm super sad that I am writing this as a not so good review. I guess you could say I'm just disappointed. I personally cannot say enough good things!!! Jackalyn did my pedicure & let's just say I was nervous going into it cuz my feet r hideous. She worked a miracle! My feet r beautifully smooth & soft, ALL the dead skin is gone, & I couldn't even feel her working. Lani did my nails. Before now, I've never liked my nails done, probably cuz I'm too picky.
