I had my hair cut and highlighted by Kylee Olson and surprisingly for how short it is, (which I love but my wife usually hates) my wife loved it! The cut is perfect, and the highlights are as well! I usually am very picky about my cuts, and I can say hands down that I have found my new hairstylist. Don't know why I pay $100 for services and then go home fix all the little things they say they "don't do"!! I've been going here for 15 years, had some good experiences, mostly just went here out of convenience to not find a new salon, but this last time was the last straw. First, I made an appt on Tuesday, got the confirmation text, drove down and was told my appointment was next week. Why did the text confirm for this week? When I rescheduled, because I needed my hair cut before graduation, the girl asked if she should "write it down for me this time"... No, I want you to confirm you have the right time! The woman I had completely messed up my bangs - the day of graduation - and "couldn't fix them" and then curled my hair in a super unnatural way! I'm writing this after lunch and half my head has already uncurled????? The girl who did my eyebrows didn't even notice they were different lengths! When I asked her to fix that she said they don't normally change the length... Why would I go to you to do my brows if you're not going to change them. I went to Coles for a color and seriously could not be happier! I love the look of the more natural, balayage  highlights but had been told by other stylists that I needed to do an all over color first in order to achieve that look, which I didn't want to do. Well, I saw Kaylyn at Coles and she didn't hesitate to give me the most perfect balayage highlights ever!!!! My hair is exactly what I wanted and I didn't need to dye my whole head. I have only been to this salon for my wedding party. Scheduling was easy, however appointments were missed and took longer than expected. I set a firm time limit and requested to come early, was assured we would be done on time, and we were not. Front desk staff did nothing to help figure out their scheduling error. I have gone to this salon for nearly 10 years and their service is fantastic. The stylists listen and transform their clients. At my last visit, Allie helped me first with a major haircut (from waist-length to shoulder-length hair); then with balayage color. I had my eyebrows waxed and the product burned my skin (I has scabs under my eyebrows for a week). I called to chat with a manager about what we could change for next time. Oh my goodness I don't even know where to start! So let's start at the beginning! Everyone there seemed so nice, even the girls at the front desk. I had Danielle cut and balayage my hair and she was so diligent in her work and gave me exactly what worked best for me. She was super sweet throughout the entire process and made sure that I loved my cut and color before I walked out. She made sure to ask me how I styled my hair so that it could look it's best with day to day activities. I have been to so many different stylists (almost all of them were masters) and no one compares to Danielle. I definitely recommend this location nad especially this stylist! Read Less

The best! The stylists are fantastic. I was running about 5 minutes late once and expected to be rescheduled, which is the right thing to do. They are running on a schedule to keep others happy too, so why should my lateness affect everyone else? Certainly not Coles fault, but I called while on route and was able to get in and get my cut and fast style. Helen didn't rush through it, but I tried to keep it quicker as not to be rude to other clients scheduled. I go to Helen and have never had anything but a perfect cut and style. Helen listens to what you want, but I always ask for suggestions and tips. She is knowledgeable and professional, not to mention a gifted stylist. She is always on time and ready to work with you to achieve the best possible style. She suggests products if asked, but doesn't push. I am not familiar with other stylists, but I am sure they are equally qualified; I am very happy with Helen and have no desire to see someone else. Read Less

I will never go back here. I was 10 minutes late and was told first that my appointment was shared with another appt, second they did not have time to do a full foil highlight, and if they did a partial they would still charge me for a full! First of all, I wasn't even asked what I needed for my hair. I didn't even want a full done in the first place. Jamie B is by far the best stylist I have ever had! I'm not one to know *exactly* what I want and know specifics, but can give her a few general ideas of what I want in the end. She always exceeds expectations and seems to read my mind to know what I pictured in my head but couldn't quite describe! Jamie knows her stuff and can give many tips on what to do with bangs, what length and/or color to go with, and even what product to use if you have picky hair! Really disappointed in customer service here. I got a mani for my wedding and was just not satisfied with the color. The mani itself was good and I don't doubt that it would last me a long time, but it's not what I picked out and not what I wanted for my wedding day. So, I called back to see if it could be changed to find out that it could... for almost the price of another manicure (which is outrageous to begin with). I called around to other places who all stated if they had done the initial manicure they would have fixed it free of charge. Shame on you, Coles. Read Less

I went into the salon for a cut & color for the second time within a ten week span. The stylist I used did a amazing job. She was efficient & my hair looks nice. What is disappointing is December I paid $135.00 on January 23, 2013, I paid $148 not including tip. Appartently, Cole's Salon raised took a price increase on all their services to cover cost of providing health insurance to their employees. I called a few salons & it seems that Coles is the only Salon that raised their prices. I already pay for my own insurance & feel I can get a great hair cut & color elsewhere with out subsidy health care benefits for employees.With revenue over $14 million dollar, I can't understand why Cole's Salon would want their customers to pay for the employees health care benefits. I think I try Rocco who actually pays for health care benefits without making customer subsidy for his employees. I hear he  appreciate the value of customer service & customer relationships. LOVE getting pampered at Cole's Salon! They make me feel like royalty every time :) Great stylists, amazing staff, can't say a bad thing about anyone there! They are always stocked with the newest products, and your stylist will show you the products they used in your hair when they styled it. It makes it way easier for me to achieve the salon-styled hair that I want everyday :) I have been to Molly for a little under a year now, and hadn't seen her since November of last year and she continued to talk to me like we had never stopped talking!
