The ladies didn’t even try to make small talk but rather talked with each other laughing and pointing at other clients, and us. I brought in my husband to get his calluses worked on and they barely touched them with a rough pummus stone but charged me $5 (without notifying me of the up-charge) to take a cheese grater to mine. I visited Diamond Nails & Spa yesterday for a pedicure and gel manicure. This place is GREAT! I stepped in and was instantly greeted. All of the staff were very attentive. This place lies about what they put on your hands. On at least 3 different occasions I asked for a gel manicure, but instead they put on acrylics. I have never gotten my nails done elsewhere, so there's no way I could've known that they were charging me for gels and putting on acrylics instead. They're cheating, lying, scum. Also, they get mad when you use a credit card. It's weird, they push you to use cash instead of a card. Maybe because of other shady reasons? Who knows. My husband is a truck driver, so I have to get my nails done by different salons all over the country. This was by far, the best experience I've had! Then when I arrived I asked if they took Discover in person, again they said yes. I get my nails done and when it was time to pay, their machine wouldn't take Discover. My total was $60... I then told them I had asked them twice before they begun, they were apathetic. I had to go to the bank which took time out of my day. They didn't even offer a discount for the inconvenience. THEN the next day my whole thumb nail (gel manicure) came off. Two days later another finger chipped!! My manicure didn't even last one full day. My pedicure also chipped 3 days later. Read Less

Four stars for consistently good work and excellent value.I have come here for years for mani/pedis, and for both polish and gel manicures.My favorite technicians are Nina, and Donna, the owner. Both are professional, have a friendly and fun manner, and do excellent work. A few years ago I had a gel manicure that started to peel up, and when I came in they corrected it immediately with no charge. Mistakes happen. The quality salons deal with them immediately and courteously.  Platinum Nails did both.When my nieces stay over, we ALWAYS come here for mani/pedis.  So great to have an informal, friendly and local shop nearby to depend on!Thanks Platinum Nails!!Janelle Read Less
