This nail salon is so dirty and outdated. The customers have to pay $1 surcharge. It doesn't make any scene. However, they should cover the nail buffer accessories. All the staffs here are not good in services. They're talking their own language in front of the customers and laughing out loud, not polite. Whatever I requested, the owner I think her name is Hannah, she refuses of your request and full of excuses. She just chooses her easy ways to work on your nails and gets your money. Once, my gel nail polish chipped off after a couple days then I returned to fix it even I paid her 5 bucks but she wasn't very happy and used her own language talked with others nail technicians. One of the BEST pedicures I have ever had, the gentleman was thorough, precise, and made it one of the best experiences ever. It was relaxing, i wasn't rushed through, or felt like I needed to make decisions quickly. It was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend them. I went here needing a pedicure with my sister in law (who was going to be getting a manicure). I called before to see if we could get in right away because we were in a bit of a hurry. The person on the phone said yes that's no problem. We get in there and have to wait about 20 minutes for someone to finally start painting our nails.. my sister in law was asked TWICE by the lady that was doing her nails, if she was pregnant.. which she is not. The lady that was doing my toes had the water too hot, so I told her, and then she turned it all the way to cold and then walked away! It was an inch from overflowing, then she ran over to shut it off. We then had to switch chairs because the water was now ice cold. I was visiting this area for vacation and needed my nails done prior to my flight back home. Typically gel manicures just peel right off my nails within a few days, but it has almost been a week now and my nails just look perfect. This place changed a lot. It looks much nicer and the previous owner seems to have moved on. She was very bad at customer service last year when I was there. This new owner is a sweet one. I liked that this place was small and always kept warm inside. I've had both good and bad experiences especially when they started charging you an extra $1 for tools. I was upset not because it was a $1 but just that they didn't bother to tell me till they charged me. If they would have told me upfront I would have had no problem. The staff are nice and do a good job. The last time I tried to go here though in late Feb on a Sat the salon was closed. I have been to many places in Lakeville, Apple Valley and Rosemount.  KC nails is by far the best.  Heidi or Hana are the only ones I will go to as they are always there and consistently do a great job.  It is a clean place but I recommend you call to make an appointment.  Gel nails last three weeks and their pedicures are great!  I have told many of my friends about them and everyone loves them.  Don't waste your money anywhere else. I have gone here three times . Twice we have had good service, friendly people, and they even stayed open late to accommodate us.#3 I went in with two friends to get our nails done. The lady tried to talk me out of nails, I was really excited to get them done but that didn't last. I asked for gel nails not acrylic, she kept insisting I got gel ... But I never had to put my hands under the UV light. I paid $40 for "gel" nails. After a week they looked horrible. My friend got her gel nails repainted. The lady kept her's under the light so long they actually burned the tips. Then the lady was blowing on them. My friend said her breath smelled like dead cat and she was thinking of all the germs she was transferring.We also saw the lady take the nail scrub brushes that were used and rinse and restock them. No cleaner or anything! She also put the pedi tools away without washing them. I will not be going back and if you want a clean, germ free session STAY AWAY! Read Less

It's been so hard trying to find a place I luv..and I do luv this place!! I see Heidi she is wonderful!!!!!! I think I have ugly toes and she makes them beautiful :) I'm not going to go anywhere else but the reason why I gave them only 4 stars is because my feet don't feel as soft they should when you've had a pedicure..idk maybe I have to up it one more  pedicure level?? I have come here twice with friends and I will definitely go back. They are very professional! They have a good selection of colors for gel manicure ($25) and my nails are always painted to perfection. Tip: It pays to have an appointment or call ahead. They are really busy! Both times I have been there, a lot of walk ins pop by and then get a little frustrated when they can't sit right down. I appreciate that the owner does not try to cram everyone in for the extra money. She really seems to understand that she can't over book her place when she is light on staff-- which a lot of nail salons don't do. Huge bonus in my book. Read Less
