My mom and I recently decided to try this nail salon because of all the great reviews online and the fact they had a Groupon. We first arrived a few minutes early and were told because others were late and the owner didnt slot enough time our gel mani/pedi would have to be rushed. Honestly should have trusted my instinct and walked out but because my mom was with me I didnt want to make a big scene. This was her mothers day gift after all. I then was told that there is $5 removal fee for gel polish even when getting gel services. I have never heard of this before as usually that's included. Majority of the visit things were said about the new owner and how she is running it, honestly we came in to be pampered not hear about drama, it was very unprofessional. In the end our mani/pedi didn't meet our expectations. Our cuticles were not pushed back enough and the polish wasnt all the way to the cuticle, looks like it had grown out a week or 2 already. We wish them luck and hope they can figure things out but we will not be returning. Read Less

I purchased a groupon for myself and mom for mani-pedi's. I was surprised at how small this place is. Just two chairs for toes and three small tables for hands. Still a decent selection of polish. Clean where it matters.My nails were done by an older woman and my mom had a younger employee that was  late  on arrival because she thought our appointment was  later. It didn't bother me at all and her personality warmed my mom up pretty quick. My only real complaint is that the younger employee's husband came in after  a while and kept telling her that the kids are gone for the day "So... " Really kind of awkward. I looked on their website for their hours and services. I drove in traffic to try this new place, seemed great. Long story short, I was not able to receive services due to the fact that this salon is appointment only. Which would be fine, if I had known about it before I made the long drive. This was the worst mani pedi I've ever had in my life. The woman who did my mani pedi was about 50 years old. She buffed my toes and fingers excessively and even caused one of my fingers to bleed! I picked up some type of infection on my toes and they were sore and red for about 2 weeks, which put a damper on what I was able to do and even wear when I was on my trip. I don't think her toes file is sanitary or it might be the little dishes of stuff she brings out from the back vs. using a product right in front of you. In fact, the products they do have in front of you are in generic little ketchup-type bottles that look like they haven't been cleaned in years. I stumbled upon Phamily Nails when I was just perusing Groupon for a good deal on a Manicure. The couple who owns the salon are fantastic and made sure to engage me so I felt welcomed and comfortable the whole time. They did a beautiful job on my nails and I felt like a friend by the time I left. I would definitely recommend going to them! Read Less

Just went here last night for a manicure night with my girlfriends.  The owner was very accommodating and closed the shop, so it was just us.  She and her husband did our nails and the results we great.  I got a gel manicure for my hands and polish pedicure for my toes.The water was very warm.  While exfoliating my feet, the gal kept asking very worried that she was hurting me, but it didn't hurt at all - I'm just super ticklish.  They did a great job on all my cuticles!I would definitely recommend this place.  The owner and her husband are friendly and chatty and do great work.  It was relaxing and a lot of fun for everyone. I bought a Groupon for this place, and when I got there, the sign advertised a mani/pedi for the same price as my Groupon....what a sham!  They claimed the regular price was twice as much, so you feel like you're getting a deal with the coupon.  Annoying.  Staff wasn't too friendly, but fine.  Only problem is that they took so much time in between every little step that it took almost 3 hrs for the mani/pedi.  I got home SUPER late, and my husband was upset.  I left the place at the same time the owners did, since they closed while I was still finishing up.  It was totally weird.  PLUS, my nails chipped after a day.  I'd never go back. I purchased the crowd cut deal for $35 pedi and gel mani. I stopped by at 6pm on a thursday to see if i could get it. The lights were on but the place was deserted and the door was locked. Someone came to the door finally and let me in. She leads me to the pedi chair and since the place looked like it was hurting for business and I was the only one in there, I didnt think to ask if i needed to have an appointment. So the woman soaks my feet and in the meantime puts polish remover on all my fingers and wraps each finger in tinfoil to allow my existing gel manicure to soak off. Well half way thru my pedi another woman walks in and apparently she had an appointment for 6:30. The woman gets flustered and tells me she'll finish my pedi but then i need to come back for my mani. So she rushes thru the rest of my pedi, rips the foil off my fingers, which only had taken parts of the gel off my nails and sends me on my way, with my nails a mess! So I come back the next day and same thing, place is deserted. The woman is very friendly and apologetic, so I didnt mind having to come back. I did mind when she started my mani and tore off my cuticles and cut them so deep to the point that 6 of my fingers were bleeding! she then proceeds to apply the gel polish with my french tips, only i notice the white for the french tips wasnt a very bright white, i wondered if they watered down the product. They must have because after applying one coat of gel polish (other gel mani's i've had they apply 3 or 4 coats of gel) she overcharges me for french tips on my mani and pedi and sends me on my way. I get home with bleeding fingers (which i feared would get infected) and french tips that had run, so i had watered down runny tips painted on my nails, which chipped off within two days! The whole point of getting gel is that it doesnt chip as easily and previous gel mani's ive had other places have lasted me 3 weeks! I couldn't believe that all that had happened in one (well two) trip/s. I recently purchased a crowd cut deal for a manicure & pedicure for $35 at this salon. At first glance, this salon looks small but clean. This is a very small company (only 2 people working (one is the owner)). They only offer "natural" nail services (manicures, pedicures, and gel). When I asked why they didn't offer artificial nails, they said it was too smelly. It took my awhile to finally get in touch with someone to set an appointment, but I finally got one. When I arrived for my 7:00 PM appointment, I was told to take a seat. They filled the tub and told me to put my feet in. I then sat there for 40 minutes (the water turned cold), before they were ready. My manicure and pedicure were just fine, but the service was rather odd. When they began my manicure I was the only customer left in the store. The two manicurists boyfriends then arrived and helped clean up the shop. As I was still having my nails painted, they were closing shop. I felt as if I was in the way and very out of place. In the end, I would not recommend this place. Although the manicure and pedicure were ok, the overall service experience was not work the price (even only $35).  I arrived at 6:50 and did not leave until 9:00 PM. Read Less
