I had a terrible experience here! The first time, one of the men did callous remover on my foot and he accidentally cut himself with it! Then he tried to hide it from the other employees and continues to work on my pedicure with a bleeding finger until I said something! I think he was fired because when finished he left. Then I thought of giving them a 2nd chance so I go back for another pedicure and another man cut me and I was bleeding while removing my cuticules on toe! He looked around to see if his co-workers saw. Then he asked why I picked a white color, because he wanted to cover up the bloody toe! Terrible! Really impressed.I'm a regular at a salon nearby but a friend invited me here recently and honestly - I'd come back. I don't know why one review was complaining that the pedicures take too long, I really appreciated the extra time spent on me! It was one of the most thoughtful pedicures I've ever had: great scrub, great massage, VERY detailed painting... I'm really happy she didn't rush.She didn't pressure me to go for gels which I've experienced at other salons. At the end of my pedicure she asked if there was anything else I needed from her which was nice, and I said no thank you, then she said "I could do a little flower if you'd like" and I thought that sounded cute, I haven't done any nail design in like 10 years and they turned out SO pretty! She did a great job!The prices are about the same as anywhere else and it's been 2 weeks now and they still haven't chipped at all so definitely worth it! I like the location too, especially the skylights in the pedicure area so I got some natural light, and they have huge TVs all over with some HGTV on (which I love!) so that was nice, and everything looked clean. If you do not want an infection, then do not go here! I have natural nails and have been getting manicures every week for the past 20 years and never have I had such a horrific experience in a nail salon as this. A friend of mine recommended this nail salon, so that's why I want. Not only did they use dirty tools but based on my experience the male technician  was not certified, nor was he trained to do nails. Worse yet, he cut into the side of my finger with the dirty cuticle nipper and I lost a huge chunk of skin off my pointer finger. I was bleeding for hours, went to the urgent care and was put on antibiotics, so I would not get an infection.  Shame on me for not walking out the minute that he pulled that dirty cuticle nippers out of the drawer. I'm share this review as a cautionary tale. Please go at your own risk. I also brought friends with me that day and they also experienced very poorly manicured nails with shredded cuticles from dirty cuticle nippers. It's as if these technicians are not trained at all. I have been coming to Perfect Nails for the last 22 years, until today. The experience is NOTHING like it used to be. I was rushed to choose a color, opted for the upgraded spa pedicure and received the equivalent of what my 6 year old could offer at home- at least there I wouldn't have multiple people whispering about me. Use of electronic sand blasters for callus removal and "smoothing" not so soothing or effective for that matter. Oh, and it hurts like hell if the person using it doesn't know what they're doing. Imagine someone burning a hole in your skin with a sander. On top of it, the new management showed little care when addressed issues. Prices are considerably higher-50% more for gel. I no longer recommend Perfect Nails, will spread the word and seek perfection someplace else. One star given as 0 is not an option. Read Less

I've had a great experience with very gentle and patient technicians who deal with my overly-ticklish feet and clammy hands with patience and grace. They give the best foot massages out of any nail salon I've been to, and it's always calm and quiet. Do they get weird about cash tips? I think I found my new fave nail salon! This place is SO CLEAN! I LOVE IT! Just what I've been searching for! This place has EVERYTHING sanitary, from the pedi tubs to your personal pedi tools and all the nail techs use gloves . The tubs are lined with a plastic wrap, and the tools come out of packages- no sharing with previous customers! I've been to so many salons that didn't clean their tubs & reused all their tools & pumice foot scrubbers- which is SO disgusting- This place is not one of those! I'm so happy I found this place! The ladies are very polite & I respect that they are honest with customers when they're too busy to take more clients, instead of like other salons I've been to that will tell you to "pick a color!" & have you wait all day to get into a pedi chair. I really am impressed with their work, I got a gel mani & pedi. Also, the pedi "lounge" has a beautiful skylight over head which brings in beautiful sunlight. I'm a new regular at this place! I had an amazing experience at Perfect Nails. The technician was friendly, gave me a really good foot massage during my pedi and was a perfectionist. It was clean and quiet. So bummed to hear that when Knollwood renovated, they were forced to close for a long time leaving clients thinking they closed for good. I went in for an acrylic fill and I was the only customer in the salon the entire time I was there. My fingers weren't even painted yet, and he had already asked several times if I had cash to tip him. Weird vibe the entire time, and I don't like how he demanded a cash tip several times before the job was even done. I understand asking for payment before my nails are painted to not smudge nails, but I'm not okay with someone demanding a tip before I even pay and before the job is even done. Read Less

Quality of my gel mani is OK, pretty standard. Weird vibe from the moment I walked in the door. Barely greeted by the staff and there was only 1 other guest. Not like they were too busy to acknowledge me. After shouting across the salon that I wanted a gel mani a woman told me to pick a color. My technician was I guess polite but not at all gracious for my business. Didn't say a word to me the entire manicure. I don't need small talk but say hello and thank you. Before I could even get my money out to pay- the lights, music, and everything was already turned off. All of the employees had their bags packed and basically shoved us out the door. Note: this place closes at 8 PM, this was at 7:40 that they were packing up. Lastly, because they didn't give me any time to put my toes under the LED light, I took my shoes off with a completely ruined pedicure . :( It was an awful experience from beginning to end. It was going GREAT until a woman came in to the little room for the pedicures ON HER CELL PHONE and proceeded to have two separate conversations with friends for the second half of my pedi. I'm sorry, I know this isn't a really fancy place but isn't it a well known fact that spa areas are not places to have phone conversations?!? I quietly asked the guy doing my toes about it and he said they don't care. Have been here 3 times now- it is cleanly and they do a decent job, however....The lady I have worked with 2 of the 3 times is rather rude and always crabby towards me as if doing my nails is the last possible job she could want (making it extremely uncomfortable for customers). I just noticed another review had mentioned the rudeness, which further means I am not the only one thinking this!Also she ended up charging me $10 dollars to take off gel nails (only $4 dollars cheaper than a manicure in which she would have to take the polish of anyways) . She did not do anything besides soak them in water- I left with unpainted and somewhat jagged nails. Also my nails hurt from how short she decided to clip them after taking off the polish. Read Less

I had a coupon for here on my fridge for ages and needed a mani/pedi before Mexico. I wanted gels for both my fingers and toes and their price was unbeatable for all other salons around me. I quickly learned why...It was a Wednesday at 6:30 and walked out of there around 8 and I was the only person in there with them the ENTIRE time! During my pedicure, the water was freezing. I asked her to turn it up and all that did was change it to room temp... not enjoyable. I felt like she didn't really do much for me upgrading to the middle level pedicure option, I've definitely had way better. The manicure was quick, basic and definitely nothing to ever go back for. WORST OF ALL, I had 4, 4 I TELL YOU, gels fall off my toes within two days of my vacation and 2 of my fingers were chipped right away. Since I was in Mexico there was really no way to go back and show them and have them redo them either...Safe to say, I will choose one of the 5+ other nail salons around my house next time. Let's just say you get what you pay for. With that being said I had to go to another salon later that day to have my nail polish redone since it smugged as I was leaving and my pedicure looked like they had barely touched my feet and needed to be repainted. Sitting there for two hours you would think nail polish would be dry enough to push open their door and nails would have been shaped properly but no they were not. This little gem is amazing! I am disappointed that I didn't figure out they were here a long time ago! I got the organic $40 pedicure and it was well worth the upgrade. They really do give you a 10 minute foot massage! After that they could have cut off my feet and I still would have been happy! Good price, no wait, quiet & up-class spa feel. I will be back! Came in from out of town needing a pedicure and took a chance on what came up that was closest to me.  The place is newly remodeled and very clean.  Workers seemed to be only as chatty as you want them to be, which I can appreciate.  Some were very talkative with their clientele and when the customer didn't respond the worker toned down the questions.  The price list is clear (which is not my experience in many nail places).  All the massage chairs are new.  I absolutely loathe ratty broken chairs.  I will definitely stop by again when I come back to MN. One of my friends told me come here after the mall is rejuvenate. I think this is one of pretty nail salon in town, i like the color and the pedicure area. it's so charming. Also, It felt like walking into a room full of friends. their customers is phenomenal. I did get manicure gel here then it's chip off by accident at work, and the manage is happy to redone all my nail gel polish . I would come back this salon for sure.Read Less
