Today, I went out of my way to go to the ATM, told Lee I finally had cash, and she said $31, which is full price... I don't like to be confrontational, so just asked, "Oh, is there no longer a discount for paying in cash?" and she just shook her head, even though the lady right next to me had just paid $28 in cash for a gel manicure. I consistently return to Honey Nails because they provide wonderful service. I usually get a gel manicure and it typically lasts well into the 3 week mark and is reasonably priced in comparison to the same service at other salons. The employees are always polite and friendly and the salon is clean and well kept. The only thing I will point out is that they do prefer their tips in cash instead of added to a credit card payment and when I have not had cash on me, the employees seem irritated. I have gone to this salon many times. Today was a very poor experience. I asked my technician to do 3 coats of polish instead of 2, and she seemed irritated by my request. I had to point out parts of my nails that were left unpolished and cuticles that she had missed. She seemed agitated and unfriendly. She charged me per nail for a "design", rather than for a French manicure, because I asked for a base color other than clear. I have never been charged this way before by other salons. We've had some success here in the past, so went open-mindedly for gel manicures. We showed up after making an appointment in advance, and were left to wait for a half hour. After a half hour of sitting and waiting, we were told that the color we had chosen would be $10 extra. There was no indication of this, as the color was on a ring with normally-priced colors. Finally, we chose a different color. The manicures ended up looking fine, some polish was messy, but overall not bad-looking. I will avoid this place in the future. Read Less

I gave this place two go's. First for a acrylic set for my wedding. They couldn't do what I asked for a French Fade, after they said they could. They cut them to short to do a almond shape as well. I needed them perfect for my wedding. So we had to start over. It was a painful experience taking them off. The rotary tool was burning my nails. So they soaked my nails which left acrylic all over my fingers. I was left picking it off my skin, soaked in oil at home. I shouldn't have gone back to have them removed. I've had acrylics in the past and when they're taken off they usually cut back most off the top of the acrylic and gently run underneath. She didn't take much care to be careful and ripped back multiple nails. She tried to fix by glueing it back. I have a chunk of acrylic stuck to a nail ripped so far back it's to painful to touch. I now have to soak it in acetone at home and home I can work it off. I've never had such a terrible experience. I've got off acrylics on my own and never ripped them that badly as long as I went slow. Never this bad at a nail salons either. Being told they could do something they couldn't, which caused unnecessary damage was not cool as well. Maybe they will do okay with the basics but not acrylic nails. Read Less

this place is unsanitary. i got a finger nail fungal that is now eating away at my nail. they don't sanitize there utensils. the literally go from one person to the next using the same ones. The files look like they have been used on everyone in the past year. They do a good job but after my finger nail infection i will not be going back there. There are much better places that actually sanitize there stuff AND do a good job. Read Less

Pretty average nail salon. My nails look fine, although she wasn't overly thorough with my manicure. Somewhat lackluster experience for the price. I also got a gel polish change on my toes. The sign said $8-12 for polish change but mine was $30. I know that gel should be more but I figured that would be reflected by charging me $12 instead of $8. I don't think $30 is unreasonable, it was just poor communication. Nothing wrong, nothing to write home about. I will probably stick with my regular salon still but will come here once in a while when my regular spot is too busy. Read Less

They are not perfect but they are light years beyond any other place i have found. The cleanliness alone is unmatched. One of the technicians has met me there before they open to fit me in. So kind and accomodating. I try to tip in cash because its easier for them and i care. I do the same with wait staff - tip in cash. I have been here 3-4 times for a gel manicure and pedicure. The service is always bad, rushed and not the relaxing experience I am looking for when I pay to get my nails done. On two occasions, I have had someone doing my pedicure and someone else's at the same time. I went in today to have my nail fixed and was told she didn't have time to fix it properly. And left me to finish myself because she had a customer waiting. Needless to say, I will not be back and do not recommend; they have lost my business and that of my girlfriends who I frequent the shop with. Read Less

Please do me a favor and do not go to this fucking place it is a fucking disaster waiting to happen trust me I went there because I wanted to get a full set of uv gel nails French mani- my normal person is out of town...I called first and asked ...they told me they could do that over the phone!! I  show up there they talk me into a pedi too. so that would run out of time for my whole point NAILS !!! Then it into something where I got some acrylic nails!! which I didn't want!! I made clear! I didn't want that at all !  The woman sat and lied to my face telling me that they're gonna look more natural and that they were gonna be stronger and all these things when I knew that she was just trying to save time because I know I've been getting my nails done for a while I'm like they do not look more natural that they do not look better I don't care about saving five dollars I didn't come here to save money I wanted my nails done and got  toes done and I try to rush me through my nails and she basically told me I didn't have a choice and then I was going to leave it with acrylic nails it's either way or no nails on at all and which case they're very thin so that was a option so I took her Forced advice and went with the acrylic nails which I've never had before they look terrible and that's not the worst part of all I got cellulitis  infection the very next day it is disgusting I just left the hospital I know it came from there I've never had a staff infection ever and it's right on my wrist and now thumb it's disgusting and don't go near that place I would even walk on the same side of the street if I was on the sidewalk if I was you the place is fucking disgusting!! Lee did an amazing job! It was my first time here, and just got done a full P&W gel/acrylic fill in. I've always had issues with salons somehow causing me some sort of pain or discomfort when removing acrylic/filing/etc, but not here! She was very careful, attentive, and did such a great job- I'm impressed. I will definitely be back. Read Less

My boyfriend wanted to surprise with a pedicure and a manicure. One of his friends told him to take me to honey nails. The nail tech asked me what I wanted and I told her I wanted a pedicure with gel nail polish and a pointy full set with gel nail polish she ok that's going to cost $80 and I her that was fine. Different nail tech started doing my nails. Long story short it took her two and half hours to do my pedicure and my full set, she couldn't get the shape that I wanted and I had to constantly remind her to fix the length of my nails. I called for an appointment tonight but was disappointed to hear they close at 7:30. When I said I couldn't make it they said I could come later and they would wait for me! My technician was so nice and took her time even though it was late.I highly recommend Honey. I got a pedicure and it turned out great! Read Less
