I went here to get a fill for my friend and I and they charged me 100 bucks for it and they didn’t even file on the underneath of the nail. They also charged me an extra 10 dollars cause my friend wanted her nails long! They overcharge you on everything and it’s not even that great of a job. I have struggled to find a place that will spend time on your massage during a pedicure. It was the best pedicure of my life. For me, my nails are fine. The reason I do pedicures is for the massage and soft calves/feet. The products were good, but the massage was incredible! My toes were rubbed, cracked, and they really spent quality time. I have gone here twice now and will only go to this salon! I have tried so many places in St. Cloud and have hated how pushy they were or how horrible my nails looked! The first time I went here the owner Natalie did my nails perfect! She look one glance at my reference photo and did them exactly like the photo. The next time I had a young girl and she listen to everything I wanted. I have never had a nail salon shorten my nails to the length I want, but they do here! I have also never been asked to do more services or add enhancements like other nail salons. As for price, my first set was $65 for a full set gel nails. I had added 8 rhinestones on each of my ring fingers (16 total) so that was extra but that is what I wanted. To fill and change the new color (a month later.. yes these nails last!) was $30. Went here today because of the high rating on Yelp. The young lady did a good job with my nails. However she asked me what pedicure I wanted and I told her the $40.00 one. At the end she incorrectly over charged me, which I thought was intentional. Instead of arguing for services I just paid it and left. I won't be returning. It's a shame because they do nice work but who wants to haggle for money when your trying to relax. Can't relax when I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. After reading other post, she was a young girl who also asked me if I wanted a flower on my nails. I said no and she still continued to try and take extra money from me. I went to Paintbox on Saturday. I got the liquid gel nails and a design with gems (I'll post photos in the comments). By Monday, nearly half of them had fallen off. Tuesday, I brought my friend to get her nails done & had them fix mine. They put chrome on, free of charge. It took almost 4 hours for them to do both our nails. I got to my car & looked at them. They were supposed to be coffin shape, but instead they're all types of shapes. oval & coffin.. some of my nails aren't smooth at all, with bumps all over. I've tried giving this place numerous chances, but after today (9/1/17)...I will not be recommending this nail salon nor will I be returning to it. I had a male manicurist do my nails and he was by far horrible! I've tried to request Natalie, the manager. But she is always on vacation. The male manicurist did not take his time, he kept taking breaks to call someone on his cell phone, and he was really rough. What really irked me was that he used the electronic filer and filed... my real nails down with it on a rough buffer head. I could already sense that my nails will be extra damaged after these acrylics come off! After he filed my acrylics, I asked for the nail filer to perfect my nail shape, he then got upset and sped through the rest of the process. When he buffed my nails out, he was super rough and I felt like my acrylics were going to rip off! Then when he applied the gel polish, he was not consistent on how he was putting the polish on! I asked him to go back and fix the missed spots with polish, but he ignored it. Please take your hard earned money and go somewhere else that is more experienced in customer service and knowledgeable in nails! It's a shame that this place looks nice, but the manicurists aren't. 1st visit was great (definitely a 5). My technician didnt speak much English but tried hard to be friendly and did great work. It's been a month, so I went back today, sadly my 2nd experience was not as good. A different technician again spoke broken English but was content to ask only 2 questions the entire time. She was rough on my cuticle while trimming but nothing i couldn't handle, she gel polished my nails and they look great but then charged me $5.00 (under other services on the menu) for having taken my gel polish off. It isn't included in the price of a gel manicure.... although The Paintbox did my last gel mani. BAD Business Practice. My choice is I'll keep searching for a nail salon. Read Less
