This place is horrible both times I have been there no one has greeted me. I stood there both times for 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. When I was finally asked what I needed I asked if I could have my eyebrows waxed. The respond I got was “ um eyebrows” someone else answered her in another language and she asked can you come back. I have never heard of such a thing. I told them I had shopping to do at tjmax and could return in about 10 minutes. She responded with no we will be ready in 40. It was ridiculous enough she asked me to come back another time as it was but then to tell me no not for another 40 minutes. Do they not realize people come to get eyebrows done at their convince not something oh they will just drive back. This was the second time this exact situation happened. I will never return to this nail salon again. Only gave a 1 star because there was no zero. Read Less

I will definitely return to this nail salon! I came in for a pedicure without an appt (Tuesday afternoon). I was greeted right away and seated in the massage chair. Although the nail technician Lisa was not able to start my pedicure for a good 10-15 min (finishing with another client), she was friendly & apologetic for my wait. The foot/leg massage was nice & long, maybe 10min. Not exactly sure, but it was nice. Also, she worked efficiently at the trimming & polishing. I've been coming here since I was a kid and I defiantly feel comfortable going to get my nails done. The people are friendly and most are quite good at what they are doing. It's the best nail place I've been to in Rochester.  It's defiantly nothing over the top though. If you are looking for something fancy-this isn't the place.  It's a little messy and dark inside but the product is worth it! Read Less

I was here a couple of weeks ago and I got a full set with gel color. She was very professional and friendly. I am amazed how beautiful my toes still look! I will always get the gel from now on it costs a little more but totally worth it. I am not waiting until they chip off to come in again. I would recommend this place. I made an apt for a mani and pedi and they got us in right away. They then give me a person who is training that doesn't know what each step is so she stops to ask what to do next. Then when I put an end to that and had a decent pedicure, I said I also made an apt for a mani. Now they were frazzled and said they had no idea (funny bc I walked in and said I have an apt and they said, "mani pedi right?") so they are now rushed for time bc they are trying to get as many people in the door they can. It was the worst manicure I have ever had. My nails are uneven and I had to keep telling her she missed spots. I have gone here a dozen times but I can say with certainty, after how horrible this time was, I refuse to ever go back. Read Less

Have to rate it a 2 because of how much junk there is all over in this nail salon. Most of the furniture is falling apart and there is literally a room full of junk piled to the ceiling. There is a door (seriously, just a random door) leaning up against the shelf of nail polish selections. Watched it fall on a customer. Felt terrible for him. She did a good enough job on my nails but I won't return. Other places have a much nicer atmosphere. Couldn't really relax here. Read Less

Beautiful manicure by Sarah- she always does an amazing job and has the best personality!! She's don mani and pedi for me and I've loved every one!The owner is a bit strange- he seems to control what bottles of polish are used, has specific ones hiding, and they need an updated gel polish selection, including colored glitter. Getting my spring break pedicure!  This is my favorite nail salon in rochester. They have huge selection of colors, and they do awesome custom designs. The place doesn't smell and the staff are very friendly. They do gel and acrylic nails too. Read Less

Not impressed. Got there with 5 others for our reserved spot 10 minutes early. I guess another party came in late for their reservation so we didn't even get in until about 20 minutes after the original appt was made. Even then, they were taking us separately and I finally I was last to be seated in a chair 45 minutes after the original appt. no one there knew what was going on and when the lady finally sat down to do my feet, she kept going back and getting party before us paid up, going between my pedicure and exchanging money. I should have stopped her there. But instead, I let her continue and she worked on my feet as if she was mad at them. When it was time to pay, I paid with a card and there was no spot for a tip on the receipt and she asked me if I had cash. I didn't. So she ran my card again for the tip. All in all, I was there for almost 2 hours and I was actually given attention for about 30 minutes. Read Less

I had to remind the lady who did my manicure to use the cuticle softener on my left hand. She spent about 20 minutes on my cuticles alone and managed to cut me then put alcohol on the cut. My nails are not all shaped the same when I asked for them to be round. She was taking way too long and then told me I had to wait 15 minutes (for my nails to dry) before I could leave and was forcefully telling me no. So I had my boyfriend pay and while she was distracted I put on my coat to leave (because my nails were dry) and she runs over saying no and grabs my hand to feel my nails. Went in to get acrylics removed. Hack job. Not friendly or clear where to go or who to talk to. They all spoke English just fine but choose to just point and say over there. I went to get them professionally removed so I would have less damage. It HURT. One nail cracked straight up the middle and was bleeding. Her grinder slipped and made a cuticle bleed. It was a hour of tense stress. At least a lil stress oil to smell or something idk. She acted like she completed the job. The rest were left uneven not fully removed and tender. Was told to wash my hands then that was it. No apology or thank u for business or Gd bye. Read Less

I had two disappointing pedicures here, the second time I went to give the salon another chance...Both times, with two separate aestheticians, they left nail polish beyond my nail bed and on to my skin. As a result the polish wrinkled when I walked. The polish they use is old and dried up and does not set well. They rush between clients. Moving on to different nail salons... Read Less

I have gotten several manicures at Fox Nails in Rochester, and have yet to be disappointed with the results. Their prices are reasonable ($25 for a gel manicure) and are usually able to get me in quickly if I stop by as a walk-in versus calling an appointment. Lisa or Kim both do a great job! If you pay with a debit/credit card and wish to tip, you will need to add it onto the cost before handing them your card! Read Less

Went here expecting to pay 28$ for a pedicure, they charged 5$ extra for nail polish?? last i knew nail polish came with the pedicure. granted they did the best job i have ever had done, wont go back because i don't like being ripped off. Read Less
