I was new to sunrise and I told David that I only came here because you guys was listed as top rated nail salon in this area. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years so I am a very very particular person when it comes to my nails. I got a pedicure and a full regular set done.. Overall I was must agree with the ratings.. they are very nice and stand up to there standards as known. I like how they use the plastic over the tubs when getting a pedicure for sanitary purposes which I have never seen before in a nail salon. They have a very nice setup in the shop and really do cater to their customers.. I really felt that.. Even me Ms. Particular(and not everyone and nail salon can :) Hands down to Sunrise as a newbie. I had a coupon off their site for a basic pedicure. She didn't put anything in the soak for my feet! Plain hot water....my feet is has rough as ever!!  Guess I will stick to my original place!!!! First time here. I asked for ombré nails. The guy that did my nails did not know what ombré was when he said he did, he tried to do it, it didn't come out ombré. I asked for glitter gel nails, silver gel was put on then the glitter gel. The end outcome: my nails came out bumpy. I honestly didn't have time to go back in and have it corrected. Manicures here - fine. Quality/Shadiness of people who work here - 0 stars. I'd rather pay more to get a manicure from people who don't lie to me or talk about me in a language I don't speak. I was a regular (every 2-3 weeks for gel manicures and pedicures) customer here for a year. When my regular manicurist who became a dear friend suddenly was no longer at the salon without telling me I was told "Sorry, she doesn't work here anymore." We had already arranged my wedding manicure for October, so I knew something was off. I scheduled my next manicure and when I inquired to make sure she was healthy and everything was ok I was met with silence and then the manicurists all talking in Vietnamese coming up with a lie to tell me. I was told by the owner's wife "Yes she is fine, she went to nursing school to pursue her dream to be like you". Flattering and quite a creative lie except I knew this was not true because 1) I'm not a nurse (!!!) despite me wearing scrubs and 2) she would have told me in a year of friendship if this were true.  Thank you for stereotyping a female in scrubs.I don't do well with being lied to or talked about behind my back as they try to formulate lies. Especially when I spend upwards of $100/mo at their salon. I would have remained a customer there until that point if they had just told me she pursued other opportunities. Plus, what other lies are they hiding in their nail practices? Well, the lies motivated me more and I found her at another salon after five minutes of calling around, thus confirming their lies to me. I'd rather pay more at a different salon, with the customer service they have here, a lady was doing my nails and in the middle got up and helped another person. I asked what was going on and ignored me instead. I was going to walk out and they were trying to make my pay even though she only did 3 of my nails and I waited 15 after for nothing. The prices at this place are awesome... unfortunately my service wasn't as great, even with a booked appointment. The lady I initially have giving my pedicure was very nice and receptive to what I wanted and took her time with everything. Unfortunately more people came in and a woman next to me had been waiting for a while, the man at the front desk came over and had the woman that had given me the full deluxe pedicure and had painted both of my toes was directed to start on the lady who sat down next to me. The man then started doing my toes, answered his blue tooth while doing the last coat and rushed me to the UV lights. After about 10 minutes he put water or oil on my toes and told me I would be good to go. When I got home all of the paint on my toe nails was smudged. A bit frustrating that they cared more about the rate of customers than the quality.  It would have been an okay experience had I not been rushed out and had the deluxe 36$ pedicure smudge. You can't go wrong with this place! Fantastic pedicures! $26 includes a hot stone massage and a regular foot and leg massage. Their chairs are great and the staff is very friendly. After looking for a good nail spot for years, a friend recommended this place, and I'm so glad! I go every 2 weeks for a fill and they're quick, thorough, and courteous for a very reasonable price. Ok I've been coming here for months to get my gel nails filled and a polish change. It always lasts the entire 2 weeks with NO chipping what so ever. I went there last Friday (Today is wednesday) for my usual service of the gel fill and polish change. Everything was fine but when I got home that night, I noticed my thumb polish had chipped a tiny little bit. I kinda thought nothing of it (maybe thought I had bumped it wrong) and just put a little clear coat on it to "glue" it back down so it would not chip any more. It was seriously the smallest chip and the color I had chosen was light anyway so you couldn't really see it. I didn't really think much of it and continued with my weekend. On Monday another one chipped. And then a few more chipped Tuesday (this time bigger than before. So I called and made an appt for today to get them repaired. The gentleman didn't just repair them. He redid the WHOLE manicure. He and the other gal that did them last week asked me if I remembered the color number I had chosen and I had. So they checked the bottle and pulled it from the shelf completely (probably will replace it with a new bottle of that color). Not only did he redo the entire manicure but he did it FREE of charge. He even protested slightly when I tried to tip him (although I did convince him to take it in the end). Holy customer service batman!! I will keep coming here for sure.Not only are they "on point" 99 percent of the time. But when they're not or something happens, they make it right! Highly highly highly recommend. Read Less

Went here because my usual walk-in place had an over an hour wait :( so I thought we'd go get a bite to eat at Chipotle while we waited. Low and behold there's a nail salon in the same strip mall! I was a little nervous when I walked in and they were very busy, but they got us in in under 10 minutes :) We were greeted very warmly and the service was excellent! They are very good at pedicure and lovely service, but when it comes to full set manicures they are not. I have had many friends come and their nails have been amazing. But my experience was not the the best I have had. Though I'm was in crunch emergency for nails they we're not shaped correctly and my cuticles were not taken care of. Sorry to say I don't for skilled fullsets though I am picky I believe for paying that much I should be happy with the outcome. Read Less

I went here for the very first time today after hopping around salons trying to find my new go to nail place. I'm so happy and impressed with my nails! I've only ever been completely happy with my nails at a salon downtown that I love dearly, but it's a little farther than my liking and quite pricey as well. I love acrylics and though my favorite girl there does an absolutely amazing job, I just couldn't justify spending $60+ every two weeks to keep up with them. I didn't have an appointment, just walked in and was helped right away by David. I showed him what I wanted and he replicated it perfectly without any objection which I greatly appreciate! It's so hard to find someone that gets the coffin shape correct but he took his time shaping my nails and they turned out exactly how I wanted. I'll definitely be back in two weeks! Read Less

I haven't actually had any services done here so I cannot speak to the quality of work. However, I walked in today with an appointment, and waited for 20 minutes before I got up and left. As I was leaving, 2 people came to me and offered to start my nails so that I would stay. Not acceptable. I called and was told to come at a specific time and when I got there, not a single technician was available. I understand that Friday evenings are busy, but if someone makes an appointment, they should be helped before walk-ins. I was on a lunch break from work, so I am annoyed that I sat there waiting for so long. I was recommended by a friend, and sadly I have to say I won't be back. Read Less

I always tend to have to play musical chairs when I go here. The guy up front will tell me to go to chair 5 then come and turn off my water jets and tell me that I have to wait until chair 1 is empty because someone with an appointment just arrived and needed my seat. While I can understand that appointments should be honored, it just upsets me because he has done this to me on multiple occasions.Or he has hit me with the "it will be a 45 minute wait" line with the hopes that I will walk away. Only to find that I know he is bluffing and then they fit me in 10 min later. I have been here enough to know that this man does not need to be managing the customer flow. Or I will call to make an appointment and he will tell me that they are not busy so I can just stop by and then when I arrive 10 minutes later, I have a long wait. Really?!? Why do I keep coming back, you ask? Because I am a glutton for punishment and the Signature Spa Pedicure is the best that I have found in the Twin Cities area so far.
