Just got my full set done. The lady cut huge cuts into my finger tips with her insanely aggressive filing, even after seeing blood on the file she just said ''oops, you're okay!' and cut three more of my finger tips.she burned my nails with her filing drill bit, so much that my nails are so tender now I can't pick anything up with my fingers. My cuticles are bleeding and my nails are super wide and thick. Looks very unnatural. My engagement pictures are in two weeks and I will have to go somewhere else to get my nails fixed now. She also over charged me by $20 and insisted that was the correct pricing. I'll never go back. Read Less

This place is great with nails but downright terrible in customer service!! I had a 6pm appointment for mani and pedi. I walk in 15 minutes early, the place is packed and they had me sit there tI'll 6:55 before calling me into the back for my pedi! They close at 7pm!! I told them my nails needed to be done first as they were more important and apparently she knows no English and didn't comprehend. Why make an apt if you get there and wait an hr, just to walk out and now I need to find some place else to go!! Never again!! Read Less

had an appointment at 2:30, didn't get in till 3. they kept jumping to other people that got there after me. my nail got smudged. they fixed it but put the top coat on before it was dry and my whole nail is ruined. :) all smudged up and ugly. i'm upset because i paid $40 for it to be done and it looks horrible. We had a appointment for 11 ladies to have nails done at 1:00 last Friday. Walked in and it was full of people. All of our gals didn't even get the nails done as it took so long. 2 of them went to another salon. If you make an appointment you better me able to accommodate the appointment, why else make one. Absolute worst set of acrylics I've ever had! She made the tips too short and I mentioned that and instead of take them off and put on new tips, she said she would add powder at the ends. Looks like total crap! Every single nail looks different, they are bumpy and uneven, some point up and some point down. Just terrible. I was clearly unhappy and all she did was suggest I put a glitter polish on the roughest looking nail to disguise the texture, then proceeded to charge me 55 dollars for the worst set of nails I've ever had! Went there with a friend for the first time in 10 years and i got a pedicure and she got her nails filled. The lady was very fast on my pedicure and seemed like she was in a big rush. The paint job was horrible, got it all over my toes and just wiped it so there is blue paint rings around my toes. I got the sea salt scrub which costs more and now my legs feel like they are sticky and very oily. She didnt scrub the bottom of my feet well so they are still rough. Then my friend... got her sns nails filled and the lady didnt seem like she knew what she was doing, my friend wanted clear color and she was going to do pink. When she started filling her nails she was doing it so fast that you could still see where the old nails were because she didnt blend them very well. The lady made my feet bleed and hit my friends fingers a few times with the grinder. The tvs were very loud and hard to talk to my friend while we were there. Would recommend going some wheres else. Sometimes the wait is longer than it should be, especially when they say 10 minutes and you're still sitting there 45 minutes later. But! It's worth the wait. I have gone there for the last few years and will not go anywhere else! Read Less

Another terrible pedicure. Thought the last one may be a fluke so gave it a second chance. All they do is soak your feet, file your nails and paint them. No actual pedicure. Never on time for appointments... expect to wait at least a half hour past your time. Read Less

Hands down the only place I'll go to get my nails done. Anna is fabulous and I never leave the salon unsatisfied. The staff are hilarious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, they always make time for their customers (not the other way around), and the salon is always clean. I will never go anywhere else!!! My girlfriend started me into the "treat" of getting my nails done- she's been going to get acrylics for years in New Ulm, MN. When she visited Owatonna she and I went to Vegas Nails. She said comparing to her preferred place of over ten years, Vegas Nails did an excellent job, she even commented she may like the girls there better because they did a really good job in her nails. I have been a return customer ever since. They are courteous, thoughtful, they do a quality job that lasts A LONG TIME, the atmosphere is clean and pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced manicure or set of nails done, they even have the SNS nail product, which is healthier for nail beds. Read Less

Went with a few other women to just get our nails painted, a few of us decided to do french manicure (no acrylic, just painted) and the man doing our nails recommended a powder type french manicure. $35/each later, (just for our nails to get painted) I could have had acrylic nails done, and our nails looked horrible. There is no price list or menu sort of thing. The rugs are disgusting. VERY unclean environment. And very unprofessional (he was on his computer chatting every few minutes). For being a fairly new business in Owatonna, walking in you think its one of the oldest.I do not and would not recommend Vegas Nails to anyone. Read Less
