Made an appointment and still waited over a half hour for service. Rushed through my pedicure, didn't even massage my feet or legs with lotion. Had to get acrylics removed and the lady just tried ripping them off until I asked for a simpler and less painful way to remove the nails. Then offered sparkles and completely forgot to put it on my nails. My friend got the same exact mani and pedi and yet I was charged more. They are rude, do not talk with customers, make eye contact or make you feel welcomed. The worst part is they are very very persistent on paying cash and nothing but cash and verbally make it well known. The owner runs the place as if it's a sweatshop. Never ever again. Read Less

Absolutely terrible experience. Went today for a simple man pedicure since my GF was there getting service. I go to another salon by Cub in North Blaine regularly. I had to bring my 9yo son with today and they would not stop pressuring me to get him a pedicure also. Then they started with the up selling and told me no callus removal unless $35 peppermint pedicure. Then pressured me for upsell for my son. I said no after 5 times. They basically clip his nails and massage his feet for 10 minutes and tell him to wait by me. Worthless for him, my girl did not use right tools for callus removal and my feet are still nasty and my big toenail crooked. She was more interested in laughing and speaking in veit with girl working on my son. When I tipped I was told “that’s it, we split that?” Then I added more money. This place is garbage. If your a man never come here. Also my son said the owner was mean because while he was waiting the owner took a $100 bill from a girl and then pointed and yelled at her in another language. In general an ok place. The woman got nail polish on both my feet and on my hands and made no attempt to fix it. A few of my nails are lumpy and its driving me crazy. My daughter who is 7 got her nails and toes done as well and they charged the full amount. Every place I've ever gone has lower rates for children. I just wish I knew up front they did not. Longest pedicures around the metro area. They take there time and show you that they care. I Love TU Nails! Sometimes they are busy than most places and there is a good reason for it. They have not made me wait more than 10 mins before and I rarely wait even if I don’t set an appointment. I have visited here many times and loved 99% of my nail professionals work. i am a Los Angeles girl who religiously got her nails done every two weeks...after recently moving to the mid west it has been a struggle finding a nail salon that was good and up-to-date on latest trends etc...lucky for me i found this place close to my in-laws house...my first time there i called ahead and was greeted by name by the owner (he even personally said bye to all the customers that were still there as he was leaving)...he really made the experience personal...the staff there are friendly and on top of it...they dont push extra packages on you like most places do...the listened to what i wanted and did my nails perfectly...im so glad to have found a place i can frequent until my visits back home to LA and my usual shop Read Less

I have tried many nail salons in my day, always go back to Tu Nails. The price may be a little higher than others in the area but they do a much better job, in my opinion. Especially on gel mani's & pedi's. Easily a gel mani can last 3 weeks. Someone commented how it's run like a sweatshop? I do not see this at all. Just because there are MANY employees there, doesn't make it a sweatshop! You can always get in pretty quickly even on a walk-in. The manager Mike is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet and if you go there one time he will know your name every other time you walk in the door. Very inviting place, clean, classy. The people working there seem to enjoy it. The only thing I would caution for anyone new going to this salon is they really try and push the spa pedicures which are too much in my opinion. Mani-pedi good price as long as you just get the basics. However, my Nail Lady, Michelle wouldnt use the 2nd color (large sparkles) when I stated this is what I wanted, but used a different one that the girl next to her was using. She starts playing a Farm game on her phone and puts in in the drawer, like I'm not really going to know the difference. When it was all done, I looked at my toes and nails and stated she needed to do the tops, she stated she did and wouldn't even look. Nail lady should have recommended we stay and dry an additional 10 mins, as soon as we left and looking in the car we found smuges. Absolutely love it here. The best nail salon in the area. Both the manager (Mike is full of energy he's makes sure you're good.) and the techs are so Pleasent  and they want you to be satisfied. I personally recommend Angie and Anna. Their the only two that have done my gel manicures and pedicures and they've been great. If you have lots of cuticle growth like me go with Angie, she seems to be better at removing them. I've tried many salons in the area this location is the best. Not only is the service wonderful the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. I was actually able to fall asleep during my pedicureCons: I wish they had more options for OPI polish options. I do not recommend waxing here though, they take you to the back and have you sit on a chair for an underarm wax. It's sketchy. The only thing their missing is mimosas! Read Less

Went there for prom nails, my pedicure was great but when I got my manicure done by Lena, my nails were bulky and my gems on my finger were not organized at all and a few nails were shorter than the rest. $112.00 later I was not satisfied and I had acrylic nail coming off of my hand nowhere near my nails like glue. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. They were able to get two of us in right away. I had a hot stone pedicure. It was very relaxing and my toenails looked great. My pedicurist did a wonderful job and even painted a pretty flower pattern on my big toe using a picture I showed her on Pinterest. I got my nails done a white for a wedding and my nails turned orange the next day. I went back and told them this and they fixed them for me free of charge. And informed me from how to keep them from turning orange in the future. Mike is amazing and so are the rest of the staff! Read Less

They actually laughed at me when I asked for a regular manicure walking in. I've had both gel and regular, and I don't always want the gel. Horrible experience, would never go back again. The facility wasn't as clean as others or as pleasant of a setting either. But the staff were the absolute worst, and I've been to a lot of salons in the cities. Very, very nice ambiance. Mike is a ball of friendly energy and makes everyone feel welcome. Both my mani and pedi techs checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the work. Loved the selection of pedicures, prices range from medium to high. The pedi massage chair is worth the trip alone! Note: if you have a lot of calluses you may want to do some prep work on them. They did not have the usual callus-busting gel or foot file, so my feet were a but rough on the bottom. The tech did tell me she would do the best she could, and I trust she did but I know for next time to soak for a while before they start  (and to go more often, it had been a while). Polish job on my hands was average, just make sure you understand pricing of your requests. Overall, on the expensive end but I think worth it, especially for the pedis. Went to TU Nails for the first time and it was the best experience I've ever had at a nail salon. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and calming. The staff welcomed me promptly and I only had a ten minute wait max before they got me in. I wanted three different nail colors and some simple nail art and Joy did a marvelous job with it all. There is a man, I assume the owner based on other reviews, and everything people have said about him is true. He came over to make sure we had figured out what I had wanted and even came to see my nails when they were all done. There was another lady next to me and I watched as she got her nails done. They were absolutely amazing so I think all the staff really knows what they are doing and do it well.  I will most definitely be going back and would highly recommend to anyone in the area trying to get their nails done. Very clean facility with nice interior decor/design. Mike is the owner and he is very welcoming. Appointment or walk ins are all welcome. I have had pedis and manis here and have never been disappointed. There is a wide range of gel nail colors and high quality polishes. I've read the reviews and am surprised! I have been to Tu Nails a few times. Mike and his team are fantastic! I have never seen a cell phone out when the employees are with customers. And...my thought on them speaking a foreign language...get over it! If you choose to get a service in a diverse setting, one must expect diversity!! I love this place! There are closer nail salons to my home and it's a busy salon and not always easy to get in during certain times of the day, but the wait and drive are worth it! All of the technicians are great, but it's Mike that makes the difference! He's awesome and truly gives the best customer service. He wants to make sure everyone is happy and well taken care of. Katrina did my nails. She spent most of the time on the phone or running off. She only charged me $20 for my pink and white fill but I definitely got $20 worth. I usually go to another salon but this tu nails is closer to my house and came highly recommended. Not going back ever again. My nails are all different lengths and they hurt, they never hurt when I go other places. They seem very disorganized and just shuffle people in and out and here and there. Got a pretty gel french manicure here! Comfortable and timely. I like the facility, very clean and pleasant. I must have come at the perfect time, got in right away, I did call ahead just to confirm. I like the paraffin wax after the manicure, smelled like oranges and made my hands so soft! A little more expensive than other places but the manicure is done right so I think it is worth it. My sister and I came in for pedis on a Saturday at 1. Got right in with no wait and got awesome treatment. We both got the Organic Spa Pedicure Set. I got lavender mint and my sister got lemongrass green tea and they were so relaxing! The girls gave us full leg massages and hot towel wraps, then after that we got full arm and hand massages. Prepare to be scammed. First, they have no price board posted at all. When seated in the pedicure chair, you will be handed a service card with only a couple of options....upscale pedicure options only! The standard pedicure is not listed at all. You have to decline the options on the card and just "know" to ask for the standard pedicure to not be given one of the specials. I won't be a repeat customer. Peppermint Pedicure was pretty bomb! Their massage chairs are legit, they don't pummel you around and actually deliver a decent relaxing massage. The massage included with the pedicure is great. It was just what my pregnant sore calves needed. Actually, I will go back every month just for the massage, the pedi is a bonus! The pedi room is a happening spot. Every chair was in use when I was there. But somehow, it was still relaxing, the staff doesn't talk too much, but just enough. They've got Bravo on the flat screen TV if you don't feel like burying your nose in your phone, iPad or a magazine. When you're done, there's Which Which, Leann Chin and Chili's in the same complex.
