Best manicure I’ve had in years. Regular manicure and it lasted 4 weeks! Very nice owner, clean and pleasant atmosphere. They took my daughter and me as walk-ins after they were supposed to be closing, and never rushed us or made us feel like a bother. They have an excellent assortment of gel colors and everyone who works there is friendly. My gel manicures always last at least 2 weeks. They do prefer call a heads so they know how many people to staff, but have always been able to squeeze me in when something breaks! Read Less

*I hate to write negative things for businesses because I believe in blessing others to thrive. I reached out to the owner but she never responded to me. So here I am having to tell the story as is.* I paid 80 dollars for some very crappy service. The lady that helped me did a horribly rough job on my pedicure. Each time she was removing a piece of my toe nails it hurt badly. I also barely had any time to soak my feet before she started working on them just because there are customers waiting in line. My callus were removed like promised. My leg has skin breakage from how rough she rubbed the leg scrub onto me. My friend that started her pedicure exact same time as I did was barely half way through when I was told my pedicure was over. I was not able to feel relaxed or pampered at all. Then moving onto my manicure- she didn't speak clearly about the gel manicure being more expensive. When I specifically told her I wanted the mani+pedi package ($60), she asked me if I wanted gel or normal polish, and said gel is better. I was like sure let's do gel then. It was only till checkout she told me that gel was 20 dollars more expensive. Also because how quickly she wanted to finish my manicure, she cut my hand and blood came out. She didn't even apologize or try to disinfect. I was left with swollen finger afterwards. I "treated" myself with this because I work hard to make a living and felt I deserved to be pampered. Wow, neither did they make my hands/feet look or feel any better, I also spent ridiculous amount of money on a waste of time. OVERRATED for sure. I looked into ratings before going in there trusting what I read. That's why I believe you need to see this other side of story before you decide on trusting them with your beautiful self. Read Less

Very meticulous service. While the place isn't that fancy and certainly could improve on decor, I can't remember when I've had a mani/pedi which was more precise and consistent. I really wanted to like this place. It's in a great location downtown. I've gone half a dozen times since moving downtown and have not had a good experience once. Everyone who walks in is offered a beverage before they get started (see the other reviews!). Not once have I been offered one. I'm not there for the beverages so that's fine, but know that they aren't offered to everyone. I have to ask three different times to have my nails shortened (cut or filed). If I don't mention it, they are cut down to the quick to the point where it hurts to walk for a couple of days. The polish - both regular and gel - generally turns out ok, but the process of painting the skin around my nails and then cleaning up is careless. I'm still scraping polish off my skin.Prices are ok but I'd be more ok paying them if everything went well. I've had better and I'll gladly drive a little farther to pay less for a better experience. I went to Samantha's Mini Spa on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 8 for a bachelorette party. We were nervous how it would work with so many people and none of us had been there before, but the staff was fantastic and very accommodating during the booking process and on the day-of. They allowed us to bring lunch and champagne with us with no issues, and everyone was happy with their different services.Samantha's had the most extensive gel polish selection I've seen - lots of fun, trendy colors too! I stopped by on a whim to see if they could squeeze me in for a gel manicure. I was very impressed. They do take walk ins, and they do an excellent job. I was fortunate enough to have Samantha do my nails, and they are stunning! All of the tools came in a sterilized bag, the spa doesn't have a strong chemical smell to it, parking is easy with lots of street options, and the staff were all so friendly and professional! Felt like treating myself and checked out this place to get an acrylic full set. They use a new powder method I've never seen before and my French acrylics looked flawless! I had a woman and her daughter switch off while working on me and they both took their time and truly wanted to see me happy with my nails. Definitely making this my new go-to spot! Read Less

I have yet to find somewhere to get my nails done that I like better than Samantha's. I've always been seated within minutes of arriving (I do always call ahead for an appointment), and their color selection is great. I always receive a gel manicure, and they rarely chip- I get them redone every 3-4 weeks simply because my nails grow out. Their prices are slightly higher than other salons I've gone to, but it's well worth it to me. I'd highly recommend going here, but I also recommend calling ahead for an appointment. Read Less

This salon was great! I got a gel manicure that was beautiful and for a good price. The staff was all very polite and friendly and offered us a glass of wine while getting our nails done. Got a gel mani, it's pretty but nothing spectacular. I will say the price was not super expensive, but the polish wasn't very evenly applied so there are visible brush lines on them. Just found out about this place. I normally go to a different nail salon in this town, but the prices here are more reasonable than the other nail salon I usually go to. I went to get a pedicure and gel manicure. The salon is very new and clean. My gel nails are going on 3 weeks now with no chips at all. They do a very good job and are super friendly. This was by far the BEST mani pedi I've ever had! Extremely clean facility, friendly staff who are extremely attentive and detail oriented. My manicure is beautiful and they took care of all of the ingrown toenails, cuticle cuts and the massage was great as well. They didn't give me what I asked for/made my appointment for (quickie mani/pedi) they instead gave me the full mani/pedi without telling me which resulted in a lot more than I was expecting to pay. It also took 2 and a half hours which is outrageous. The results were fine but the process was absurd. The services are outstanding, it is def worth a drive due to the attention to detail and the cleanliness (which is super important to me). Thank you yelpers!  My mom and I are on a cross country road trip and both needed serious nail work done.  I needed a pedicure while mom needed a manicure.  We called after reading the reviews about the cleanliness of this spa.  We were able to get in before heading out on the road for our next stop.  The reviews were right, very nice clean place!  The pedicure has to be one of the best ones I've ever had, my nails looked so good I could have just had clear polish and looked great!  I haven't seen my toes look that good in 30 years and my calluses were gone and my feet soft and smooth.  I would highly recommend this mini spa and if I traveled through the area I would use them again!
