I hate to be the one to bring down their rating because I’ve gone several times to get a gel dip powder manicure. They looked lovely and lasted. The service was excellent up until yesterday. I won’t be going back after this last experience. I wanted to remove my manicure and not get a new one during that visit. I tried to assure them that the decision had nothing to do with them or their service yet they still seemed irritated that I wasn’t getting another one done. Despite their attitude, I expected them to use the usual process of soaking them to soften them before removal. Instead, they snapped them with clippers and dug underneath to pry them off. It was very painful and left my nails feeling weak/raw and looking uneven in both texture and length. It’s hard to believe they’d be so petty as so do a terrible job of removing it because I didn’t want a new one but I think it’s the only explanation. I debated between 2 and 3 stars because, like I said, my other experiences were good but they needlessly caused me physical pain and damaged my nails. (For the record, I flinched and said “ow” several times but I did not try to stop them once the process started. I should have but I stupidly thought there must be some reason they were doing it this way. Nope. Just negligence.) Good luck everybody. Read Less

Been here twice, once for manicure, once for pedicure. Both times had a good experience. I have never had a manicure where my cuticles didn't get clipped to the point of bleeding, but this time they clipped and pushed and whatever gently enough to keep the blood in my veins but aggressive enough to make my nails look AMAZING. Pedicure was great. I usually have some weird allergic reaction to the slat scrub/lotion combo at any salon, so I asked them to not do it. She massaged with oil instead, which was so nice! Moved to the uptown area recently and have been to 4 salons so far; the one I found in Richfield with chrome powder had an hour wait one day so I googled salons, made sure they had an opening, and am now a repeat customer! I have never gone to a nail salon on a regular basis. Going to get my nails done has always been part of special girl outing or occasion, like a wedding. My experiences at nail salons have been for the most part disappointing. Either its been due to the atmosphere or poor service. Well, that is not the case at Pamper Nails and Spa. The first time I went I was welcomed with warm smiles and great customer service. The atmosphere was inviting and professional. The attention to detail and customer care left me more than pleased. I’ve been seeing them for my nails for 4+ years.They are always accommodating when making appointments and has such pride in her business. My toes and nails always look perfect and she’ll go the extra mile to make sure of it. Her leg and shoulder massages are so lovely and a great bonus to the beautiful nails. I randomly stopped here on a whim before shopping at patina.  It is fantastic. Amy did my manicure and she did wonders to my cuticles.  The people are so nice. The price is reasonable and they have a nice selection of colors. Highly recommend this place. Read Less

I just found my new favorite nail salon. This place is such a gem! It's clean, staff are  friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the services provided. I don't get my nails done often so I opted to do a spa pedicure and it was absolutely delightful. I got my feet and legs massaged with hot stones and it was truly relaxing. I'll be back! Read Less

Excellent job. I came here on the recommendation from a friend, and I'm so glad I did. Tiffany did a perfect job with my nails. She was very gentle and careful. I love the cuticle work she did. I get gel manicures, and they wrap each nail versus soaking your hands in acetone. They had a nice choice of colors, and used quality base and top coats. I love the gelish color I chose. My regular nail tech was out of town, and I like this better than the other back up nail techs at her shop. It's the same price as my regular place, so why not?  $30 for a gel manicure is reasonable. What a lovely neighborhood gem. Professional, quiet, clean and none of that awful nail salon smell. They are located in the 50th and Bryant neighborhood of Minneapolis. I walked in on a recent Thursday morning and requested a gel manicure. I was greeted warmly by two women and invited to take a seat. Lena, my manicurist brought me the extensive collection of polish colors. They carry all of the popular brands including Gelish, OPI, CND and several others. I can honestly say I have never had a manicure as wonderful. Great attention to detail and a no rush environment makes for a most relaxing experience.  Prior to Pamper Nails, I was a longtime client of another nail salon in the 50th and France area. Great new(ish) to the neighborhood nail salon and spa. I've noticed it many times and was finally in the area when I needed a manicure. So glad I walked in! I was greeted by everyone working and welcomed right in, without an appointment, for a gel manicure on a Friday about 10:30am. I was surprised it wasn't busier given it was the Friday before Thanksgiving.My nail tech was Amy and she was fabulous. Cheerful, professional and very talented. I showed her a picture I found for inspiration and she got right to work. Amy was incredibly thorough, with great attention to detail and relatively efficient without being rushed. Overall, a great experience. Excellent selection of colors including some of my favorite brands: OPI, CND etc. Just missing Essie! Prices were just about right and competitive for the neighborhood.4 stars because I really love a good massage with my manicure, including a little upper back and neck love. I can't say enough good about this place. I almost don't want to write a review, to keep them a neighborhood secret! But they are too good to not share. So sweet, kind, and helpful; the space is super clean, they take their time (even if it gets past closing!). Costs are comparable to other Minneapolis salons, if not better, but definitely worth every penny. I have gotten regular pedicures and gel and dipped manicures. Pamper Nails is such a great neighborhood salon!  They are very professional and friendly.  They were so nice to my 7 year old niece for her first pedicure and my nails looked great too.  Wonderful foot and leg massage.This business is newer here and I'm glad they have waxing and eyelash services in addition to nails. First things first1) The ladies at this salon are so sweet and like to engage in conversation with you.2) It is set up very nice inside and was relaxing.3) They did a fantastic job on my nails!I got a gel manicure and a gel pedicure. Best nail experience ever!!! Lena, Fu, and Tu are all so nice and welcoming. They have great colors. I ended up getting powder for my finger nails which I have never gotten before and they look AMAZING - I seriously feel like a princess. The customer service and care they put forward is outstanding.
