I purchased a groupon for a haircut with Jaime at Level. It was my first time visiting the salon. Based on the address and building, I expected it to be more interesting, cozy and aesthetic, however it was as sterile as a Cost Cutters or Fantastic Sam's. My stylist was very difficult to talk to as well. I'd describe what I wanted to do with my hair, and with a very disinterested and frankly snarky attitude would summarize my idea in a rude way and tell me why it wouldn't work. She cut my hair in 15 minutes and acted bored the entire time. She only cut the left side of my bangs and was ready to let me go. When I asked her about the other side bang, she said in her disinterested voice, "Oh, you want them to frame the face?" Wow!!!! She also told me repeatedly to stop moving my head (not in a friendly way, though). In all my years of receiving salon services no one has ever told me that I moved my head too much. I chalk it up to being fidgety and feeling uncomfortable with such a socially inept and cold stylist. What indifference and apathy. Actually, with the exception of two men who were very friendly with their customers, the whole place reeked of mediocrity and apathy. My stylist was the bottom of the barrel though. Social intelligence is important in that line of work and she didn't seem to get that. I felt like I was in a SuperCuts in Blaine, although I've never been, I imagine this level of checked out behavior. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe SuperCuts in Blaine is much better!!! It's worth it to pay more to go somewhere like "The Beauty Room" on Chicago where great service, a great ambience and work is always a priority and consistent. Don't visit this salon, and if you do, avoid this stylist. Read Less
