Polish came off within a day after having a manicure. The girl that was doing my nails just stopped in the middle of my manicure and started working on another lady! No explanation! I normally have always been happy with the service Tu nails has provided me but as of my last two visits not so much. while getting a basic gel manicure and pedicure I realized after that a few of my cuticles on my hands and feet were so cut up that I bled. I hope that this doesn't happen to others and I will not be returning back because of this bad service. Read Less

My first time there, I was in love with my nails. Hannah was nice, and a great listener when It came to what I wanted, at a fair price. They had very pretty gel polishes and the place was very clean compared to most. And at the very ending, before washing my hands she gave me and amazing lemony scub that made my hands feel amazing. Ignore the bad reviews on here!! Tu Nails is far and away the BEST nail salon in the Twin Cities. I have been a client of Tu (for probably 6-7 years) since Aaron and Mindy purchased the shop. They are the kindest, most hard working people and have truly become good friends of mine. Their pricing is completely fair, there are no hidden charges, and they go above and beyond to make you happy. You walk in, they greet you by name, and will offer you something to drink during your service. They always try to be accommodating, even if you are running late, don't have an appointment, etc. I most highly recommend Mindy for any type of manicure. She is SO SO good. Perfection literally every time. She works quickly but does not rush, and can do a complete gel or acrylic manicure in 45 minutes. And let me tell you, they last a LONG time. At least 3 weeks. If for some reason you have a chip, or even break the nail yourself, just go back in to see her. She will happily fix or redo anything for no charge. All of the technicians are so sweet and friendly, and none rush your service. They are gentle, thorough, and really want to make sure that you enjoy and relax. I have started bringing my boyfriend in for pedicures, and he LOVES it. He has started asking me every couples weeks when I need to get my toes redone so that we can go in for pedicures together 😂. Do not go here. This place is so bad I got regular gel nail polish took 2 hours and two days later its already coming off. I asked before they took me in if they could do this and design which was very simple they said yes the girl messed it up 3 times having to chip off the nail polish and it still look like a child had done it. Tu Nails is the only place to go for the best mani / pedi service in and around Lakeville. I know because I've tried the other nail salons - here are the differences.Quality. Tu Nails stands by its work. Owners Aaron and Mindy insist on repairing any work that I'm not 100% satisfied with, free of charge. This doesn't come up often and when it does, to be honest I feel like it's always been extreme wear on my part, but they insist on fixing my nail(s) free of charge regardless. A gel manicure at Tu's lasts 3-4 weeks, depending on how fast your nails grow.Atmosphere.Aaron and Mindy make you feel like you're a part of their family. To be honest, I wasn't into going and having my nails done except maybe once every few years until I started going to Tu Nails, but now I look forward to seeing them, catching up and talking with other regulars. The pedicure massage chairs always are in working order unlike some places and at Tu, they always keep those magazines I never buy, but look forward to reading on hand (People, Us, etc.).Services.I've had the deluxe pedicure, gel manicure (french on both), eyebrow wax, paraffin dip and would recommend them all highly. I ended up talking to Mindy and learning her story - how her family fled Vietnam after several failed escape attempts, some of the terror she's lived through and how she and Aaron met as high school sweethearts.  I didn't come back after that visit for a few months and Mindy remembered me, things we'd  talked about, and we picked right back up where we left off. I should add that my pedicure - three months later - still looked great after that three months aside from the nail growth! I started coming back more frequently and watched Mindy and Aaron work tirelessly to make not only me, but every client who walked in feel welcome and special.
