But, after making an appointment the night before, my technician was late by over half an hour because she was busy with another customer. She did apologize. I had requested the signature manicure, which, according to the website should include a sugar scrub, body butter lotion and a hand massage as well as nail and cuticle detailing. Heed warning before booking your massage here! The salon was completely empty with the exception of a couple of staff members and their small children. I should have taken that as a sign. I paid for a 90 minute hot stone, hot towel massage at Rumor Has It through Groupon. The massage began about 2:10 and I was dressed and checking out by 3:15. The hot towel service was maybe 5 mediocre minutes and there were no hot stones. The therapist, Ron, was nice but average at very best. The children outside were loud and running around and at one point tried to open the massage room door. Jeannie saved the day!  I had just had a gel manicure that didn't turn out well. I called Frenchies and got in on the same day. Jeannie took her time taking the many layers of gel polish off all the while interacting with my children and making them feel as welcome as she did me. First time getting a service done at Frenchies, got gel mani and pedi. Won't go anywhere else again, IN LOVE WITH FRENCHIES! Angie took her time to help me pick a color and even went and retrieved more colors from the front to help me pick a perfect color to match a dress for a event. She was so friendly and good at her job! She didn't rush at all and was easy to talk to. The salon itself was BEAUTIFUL and the pieces are super reasonable. Lovely little nail salon in Lakeville. My daughter found it on Yelp and loved the look of the place and the good reviews, so we made the trek down from just outside Minneapolis. The environment was as attractive as it looks in pictures. I love the bench/banquette seating instead of individual chairs. I enjoyed my time at Frenchies. Right as I walked in, I was greeted and the atmosphere was very pleasant and did not smell like the harsh chemicals like the other salons I have visited. I was impressed that my technician, Sara, was ready and waiting to grab me a glass of water and get started with my pedicure. However, the guest who came with me, who also came for a pedicure, had to wait 15 minutes for her technician to start her pedicure because of a social encounter with th...e guest before us. The cleanliness of the salon and the tools that were used on our feet were awesome--we were very impressed. But, my guest wished that the foot tubs would have stayed a bit warmer while she waited for her service and I also wish that my technician would have spent a bit more time massaging my legs and feet. I went today for a hot stone massage for my lower back pain and migraines. The masseuse was amazing!!!! I cant recommend her enough- I believe her name was Carla. She hit every pressure point and knot from head to toe and even gave me a scalp massage for the migraine. It was a blissful hour of peace and quiet and relaxation. Their salon is so cute. My manicurist was wonderful even though I was the last person and last to leave but it was no issue for her. I really liked the salon! It was very clean. I was impressed that when I came in it didn't smell like nail polish. They handed out snacks and water. I gave 4 stars because they didn't have massage chairs and my nail tech didn't massage me much with my pedi and mani. It was only like 5 min at most for Pedi and then 5 min for mani. Please go here! My little girls and I stopped in yesterday and Kate gave us a tour of their salon. It is so clean and smells wonderfully. We made appts yesterday for today and it was the best nail experience ever. The women are very professional, meticulous, courteous, funny, and great with little kids. I feel good about taking my young girls there because they don't do acrylics so it doesn't have that smell that you get when you go to the walk-in strip mall salons. I really loved this place when I went with a few girlfriends to get gel manicures. Super cute salon! Most of the staff is friendly and upbeat. This was my first time getting a gel manicure, which my girls swear by because they are supposed to last so much longer than a normal manicure. Unfortunately, literally a week from the day I got my manicure, half of one of my gel Polish ripped off and all the rest are already popping up near the cuticle. I'm so disappointed because I really wanted to love the salon! My friends nails seem to be fine so there must be inconsistencies in processes from nail artist to nail artist. Are you tired of the same type of service that you get at every other nail salon?  If you haven't checked Frenchies out you should!Frenchies is in downtown Lakeville next to Toppers Pizza.  The decor is modern, clean and inviting. They don't do acrylics so it also smells very clean.  My friend and I went and Cyndy was our nail tech. She was friendly, helpful and made you feel right at home.  There was not the "up-sell" that you get at most of the other places.  No pressure.  Cyndy did hombres on our gel manicures, using glitter at the base of the nail.  They looked great!  The owner was also present, walking around and chatting with everyone.  Frenchies deserves 5 out of 5 stars because the service was top notch!
