I stumbled upon V Nails on my way home from work. I needed an acrylic fill, and the place I usually go to hasn't been doing the trick. I had the BEST experience i've ever had at a nail salon. I was very un-impressed with this place and was surprised as I had multiple people recommend this place to me. first, I got there and they acted like they were going to start on my nails, they wrapped my nails to get the gel polish off and they left me sitting, without saying a word, for I kid you not OVER 40 mins. my fingers were starting to burn.. I felt I was also overcharged for the gel manicure I got and she didn't even do a good job. could have just been having a bad day but if I'm paying that much for your services, I should be taken seriously and you should be doing your best work. Visited V Nails for the first time about two weeks ago and my nail technician was Annie (the owner) and she was LOVELY! She was professional, detailed and made sure that I was comfortable. I had a very bad experience at vnail. Went in for mani pedi. My mani looked awful after a day, so I decided to go bAck. When I went I sat there for about 30 min for it to dry. I get home and the nails polish came right off. I believe they dilute their nail polish because I have never had this happen to me before. On top of that when I went in to get it fix the guy put on the color and then told me to let it dry and then he will put on the top coat he then proceeded with helping someone else. The shop is tiny and cramped, so my sister and I were glad to have made a reservation for pedicures to have done together. However, staff seemed to ignore the fact that we had a reservation. After giving the two open chairs to a couple who came in after us, they tried to get us to split up. So, we left and went to Nails on Eighth and had great pedicures in a bright, pretty setting with nice background music and friendly employees. Read Less

The prices are decent, and they're always very friendly. The quality is also very good. However, the place is pretty small, so it gets crowded quickly. We made appointments for a Saturday morning, and had to wait about 20 minutes because 4 people were walk-ins before us. They also had to turn people away while we were there, or ask them to come back later. I would definitely recommend going during the week rather than on the weekend! Read Less

My experience was wonderful. I have never really gone to salons our hair places our anything like that for 2 reason, first i feel uncomfortable being the center of anyone's attention and having others assess me reason number 2 is entrusting anyone to cut our color my hair the way i want, not the way they think it will look good, same reasons not having fingernails professionally done. I am so happy that I found impressions to do my nails. I can't tell you how many shops I tried until I found this place. The staff is wonderful, very talented, extremely reasonable, and I couldn't be happier. I have a daughter that requires a little more patience than your average customer and they give it to her. But I love the most is that they include all the designs at no extra charge on your nails. You can't go wrong on any of the ladies doing nails they're all excellent. Read Less

Nicci at Impression was tagged in a Facebook post for a nail Tech reccomdation. I decided to give getting my nails done there a shot because in the past I've had my toes done with glitter there and was Obsessed. Nicci posted her number and I called and was offered a same day appointment. I opted for an afternoon the following day. She was available when I walked in, the salon is cute and the atmosphere is casual. My experience was delightful and my nails turned out fabulous. Read Less

I've been going to V Nails every other week for about a year. Anna is my regular tech but I've had other techs too. They give the most amazing gel manicures and pedicures. The only reason I go every other week is because my nails grow quickly, the gel never chips. The salon is spotless, the employees are professional and their services are well priced.
