This salon is under new ownership, and I must say the customer service is absolutely wonderful. Not only to my mother and I but to each and every customer who walks in. This is my new favorite place!! I even come over from the neighboring state to be pampered here. As soon as you walk in you can see that the great people who work here are dedicated to assuring their client's comfort. The aesthetics in the salon are amazing with soothing colors, soft, tranquil music, large TVs with relaxing images and gorgeous (real) orchids! The staff is also very friendly and really take their time with the customer, they never rush through. They do such wonderful work and don't charge much. I would highly recommend L.A. This location used to be owned by someone else. I had never been, but other reviews were horrendous on Google Reviews/Google Maps. PLEASE DO NOT LET THAT SWAY YOU. The new owners have made this place truly incredible, and I have never felt more pampered in my life. The staff were amazing, funny and beyond thorough. I didn’t feel rushed at all, and ended up being there for a couple hours! I got a mani pedi, and even bought the highest level for the pedi because my nails were so phenomenal. I had dips done for the first time and wow.... just wow. These nails are better than any other nails I’ve ever had done, and my toes look so healthy and feel incredible. They also had awesome recommendations for designs, and really went the extra mile even when I didn’t ask. Huge 5 star review from me, I will be traveling from anywhere no matter how far just to come here. The salon is clean, beautiful and well organized and it creates an atmosphere of a true salon experience. The prices are reasonable, especially for sheer amount of time it took to do my nails. And my favorite takeaway? For the first time ever, MY NAILS DO NOT HURT. They’re the perfect length and not unbearably thick. I totally recommend this place to you. #1 the staff is super nice and friendly. #2 they don't charge a lot. #3 I got my nails done about a week ago and they still look on fleek. Even the past experience that I have had with this nail salon is great. Usually my nails will stay on and the polish wont chip for about 4-5 weeks. Even though they are short staffed by very few people right now you cant blame them because there is a lady that works there (she is supper nice by the way) but she is recovering from something that happened, so don't blame them. Also some people said that they were talking to there coworkers rudely that isn't true at all because they only speak in there language (Chinese? or Japanese?) to there coworkers so how would you now if they are speaking kindly or not (P.S. look it up Chinese and Japanese are known to be one of the fastest languages to be spoken). SERIOUSLY! I have NO kind words, what so ever! I do not know how you expect a paying customer to be satisfied with the poor quality of services that you provide. I can paint my nails better In my sleep and it literally looked like a two your old painted my nails (The paint was all over my cuticles and I could still see my nail bed through the polish) After my manicure I told them to just take it off as I was not going to start my new job with my finger nails looking unprofessional! I do not recommend. They rushed to get my nails done. I asked to get "coffin" design and it was choppy and uneven. When they went to put the matte code on, it was rushed and missed areas of the nails. They where rough and not at all gental. They don't seem to care at all about the customers. Further more, the environment was so umperfestional. Despite charging me for things that weren't on the bored, there was a prescription bottle on the front desk ( if you've ever been in there you know the desk is very open) just sitting there. Would not recommend. They rushed to move on to the next customer, were not gentle what so ever (I went in with 2 other people and we all left with at least one bloody finger nail), one employee was telling racist jokes and we were charged for things that were not on their board. When I asked the man to reshape my finger nail because it was crooked, he just filed it more to the side, making it more crooked, (it was an almond shape, so the sides were pointed inward.) I went in about a year ago and it was the same experience. I got the student discount (25 dollars) but they tried to charge 30 because I didn't want a square shape. After I mentioned it wasn't on the board, he quickly tried to find excuses as to why it was 30... soon giving up because I mentioned that I was not told that it would be extra right away when I asked him for that shape. I went on a Sunday, as it was the only nail salon in Forest Lake that was open but I wish I had just waited until the nail salon on Broadway was open. Read Less

Horrible service!!  Called in early to make a reservation.  When we got there we still had to wait for 15 min.  Then when we sat down to get a pedicure she cut our nails way to short.  They actually bled. Also she scrubbed our feet so hard that she  scrubbed the skin off. Not impressed at all and this was our fist and last visit to this "salon". Read Less
