If I lived in the area, this would be my one and only go-to for my nails. The salon is a little tricksy to find if you don't know where you're going. It's located in a small strip of stores, behind a glass door tucked in the corner. Once you're through those doors, though, you're golden. The space is quaint, relaxed, and inviting. Merilee is an absolute gem! Her big bright smile and happy eyes light up when you walk in the door. She is incredibly friendly and very easy to talk to. She will make your day before she even starts her craft on you. Her passion for her work and her clients glows from her presence.My mother and grandmother have been getting their nails done exclusively by Merilee for decades. Grandma's fancy fingers made her incredibly happy and it was one of her favorite things. Her nails were always one of the first things she had to share with me when I'd visit. And every time, I was incredibly impressed by the beautiful and detailed work. Sadly, we recently had Grandma's memorial service. As a fun tribute, my mother and I had Merilee do some Grandma-appropriate nail art.  As a person who is very lazy with my nails, I opted for some simple little angel wings. Merilee looked at my photo and within a second was painting away. She works very quickly and cleanly, and before I knew it, they were done and were absolutely perfect! I was blown away by the beautiful work she did on my mom's fingers. Grandma loved unicorns, and Merilee hooked Mom up with some INCREDIBLE ones. The detail, color, and quality of her work cannot be matched! I am pretty sure there is nothing that Merilee can't handle. Just show her a picture, and she will NAIL IT (see what I did there?).
