The first time I went here I had a man do my nails and they weren't bad but it wasn't my favorite, however I continue to go back and now I only see Tao. She is amazing! The staff in there is super friendly I'm always smiling. They're gentle they're not just yanking and twisting your hands and they make sure you like what they've done. If you're unhappy they will fix it. I get gel nails and gel polish, the few times I've had a nail break they never have charged me to fix it I always tip them for it but they never charged me. The Owner is very rude and could care less if you like your service. Other staff are ok not real friendly. I have tried it a number of times through the years and keep walking away not happy. It says new owners BUT that man is still working there and is still in charge, it makes wonder if he is still the owner? A little more competition in town is making him step up!! Would still not go there ever!! The other nail place in town is wonderful!! Can’t wait to see the other new shop too. I went to star nails last month, asked for a 'set of gel nails polished' (I know nothing about nails) and I left with a set of gel tips and gel polish! I'm so in love! The staff was welcoming, they visit with the patrons as they work, and the owner has remodeled in the past week! I will be back for more! And continue to tell my friends! Read Less

Might be better named "One Star Nails". I do a better job than they did on my toe nails and they weren't particularly friendly. My dad had a manicure while I was having a pedicure and while doing his cuticles they cut him and it bled. They also did not smooth the nails and being that he wasn't having them painted, that was a bummer. I think his nails looks worse when we left than when we got there. Came in for a fill. The woman cut me three times and I was dripping blood down my finger. It smelt rancid (like garbage) there were children running around and one other worker was straightening her hair and doing the other workers hair - just letting her hair fly around. I told her I wanted medium length rounded nails. She cut them down super short and some of my nails are rounded and some were square. Absolutely horrible. I will never return. Read Less

I've been here a few times and always been happy with my nails. I have had my nails done by everyone that works there, even the gentleman that works there. I think everyone one that has worked on me has done a wonderful job. I get so many compliments on my nails after I leave.I have had wonderful service and great conversation with the staff and if I don't want to visit they let me just relax. Great price as well.
