I went to Aafusion Spa Salon several times now. I had two back facials, back wax and chest wax from Desire Dalrymple. The atmosphere at the spa is very cozy. The staff are professional and courteous. Desire Dalrymple does a wonderful job explaining the processes she uses. The back facials were wonderful and left me in a dreamy state. I had never had a back facial before this. I had also never had a wax done before. These procedures were not really painful during the process like I was expecting. I saw all of the good reviews for this salon, so I called and made an appointment to have tips and gel put on my finger nails.  When I showed up for my appointment, the woman said that she couldn't take me because it would take too long, even though I had explained exactly what I wanted when I set the appointment up.  She ended up taking me, after I had said I could reschedule if needed.The woman then told me that she didn't know how to do stiletto tips, as she was "old fashioned" and they are a "new age" thing.  She said she would try to do them anyway, and they came out very long and round tipped.  I was disappointed, but at this point it was almost closing time and I still needed them painted.  When all was said and done, I wasn't unhappy with them, but they were not what I wanted at all.Then, two days later, one of the nails snapped off when I was opening a door...by no means doing anything strenuous on the nail.  Not happy with the way things went, not happy with the end result, or that I paid $60 for nails that lasted two days.  Would not return. Had a Christmas party I needed a spray tan for so made my appointment well in advance. A couple days before the appointment I received a call asking if I could do the spray tan the day before as she had to go to a funeral and I explained that I was having other services done and it would not work to do this. So she asked if I would be willing to have another girl do it and I said, no problem! As I do understand these things happen. And I really didn't care who did it as long as it got done! So I showed up for the appointment and the receptionist tells me that I'm not scheduled?! And the girl they were going to have do it is booked until 5- at which time I will be at a work event. All I got was a "sorry 'bout that". My Christmas party is now tomorrow and no spray tan! And nothing but a meek apology. Didn't even try and see if there was someone else that could do it or find me some place else I could get one ASAP! I mean, if you are a legit business you have a way to handle these things! After a car accident last year I've been completely out of shape. I found Aafusion and saw Joy for a massage. WOW! I feel better than I have since before the accident! I felt the stress and tension melt away with every stroke. I was unable to turn over on the table by myself but Joy modestly helped me and was just so sweet with making me feel comfortable! I just felt so cared for and so luxurious! I can't say enough..She asked really specific questions to figure out where my pain and migraines originate and was spot on. As women get older things start to change as we all know. For me however, it is my hair. I have had straight hair all my life. Now all of a sudden my hair has turned curly. I’m not just talking wavy. It is full blown curly! I have been trying to hide it with straightening my hair every day, but as we all know- that is a lot of work! Carly M. An esti there is without a doubt an angel!I went to get my nails done at a little shop and thought it was a good idea to get $25 last extensions.  Biggest mistake of my life! Over the next week and half I was half missing my lashes and could not get them off not to mention I'm leaving the country in a few days. It was a pure nightmare! Carly talked to me on the phone and got me in the same day.... she managed to get the train wreck off AND to fix the bald spots! Is it bad that this salon is a factor in my decision whether to move or not? I honestly love it that much. The entire staff is so friendly, knowledgeable and professional without ever showing a hint of the snobbiness that runs rampant in some other places. Can't say enough good things about Aafusion!! About a month in advance 7 girls and myself booked an afternoon here full of services for a bachelorette party. Needless to say, I've never been better taken care of. Katie sent a list of services that we could receive for the afternoon, we emailed her with our preferences and about 4 days later she sent us a schedule for each of us. They closed the spa to other guests so we could keep our party private. I opted for a 30 min facial, an hour long massage, and an hour long pedicure. Brought my mom here for mom and daughter pedis, mom's treat. I was going to bring her to the Ivy Spa but wasn't able to get an appointment for the time we wanted.  Wanted a nice relaxing place but also not too expensive since she was paying.  I'm so glad we came here. Erica has cut my hair each time I've been here. I love the explanation she gives of how to achieve the same look/style at home (because who can make it look that nice after the first wash?). Have also had a massage as well; I opted for the full body massage when I should have focused on the areas that were sore.  I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout the whole experience; even was given pointers on some stretches to try to reduce the tightness in my upper back (stress induced).Everyone is professional and courteous.
