I have always had a good experience coming here! My nails always look amazing and it's a very clean environment and it smells good. Very friendly workers as well. Today was our second visit (and last) to Vixen. After having a manicure done last time with a design, we were told today that no technician does designs at this salon. Just paint. That may sound petty, but my daughter is in a wheelchair and we regularly run in to people who are nervous about doing her nails. Usually, we are able to explain what works best and end up with a pretty decent experience. This is the first time that we have been lied to straight out in what looked like and felt to my daughter like discrimination based on her disability. We are new to the neighborhood and were looking for a new and convenient nail salon for all 4 people in our family. However, after being straight out lied to, we took our business elsewhere. So disappointed in the quality of the manicure and pedicure as well as the service. I had to wipe off the polish that got on my skin for the pedicure. Then I got a gel manicure and the woman got it all over my skin again. My nail was stuck to my skin and she didn't even care. If the total cost was around $20 then I wouldn't care. I recently had a gel manicure done at this location. The service was fine, but the quality was poor. My nails started peeling within 2 days. There was polish on my skin around my nails and my nails looked unevenly trimmed. Some of the polish wasn't smooth and had small bubbles in it. Do not recommend. Read Less

I will not go back. Their service was friendly, but the quality is extremely poor. Normally when you get a gel manicure you shape the nails, remove cuticles, paint them, spray them with alcohol after they dry, and rub your hands with lotion, but none of the above was done plus the heater/black light machine was broken, so the nail tech had to keep tapping it to go back on. Today was my second time here.  First time I had Jenny and she was wonderful.  She gave me a top quality pedicure that lasted me almost a three weeks.  This time, second time was not so wonderful.  My first mistake was not calling ahead of time to make an appointment with Jenny and I took the next available nail tech. I couldn't even understand the name of the lady that worked on me.  I am just now walking out the door and I'm so so very disappointed in the rushed sloppy service I received. I even pointed out two blemishes and she acted like they where not there... Painted over them hoping that the thicker the polish the less noticeable so she would not have to redo it.Because of today's visit I will have to give this establishment a two star... Because I'm going to have to stare at these blemishes for the next three weeks. Read Less

Stopped by on Saturday afternoon to get gel nails removed and decided to get a manicure too. The nail removal part was fine, but the manicure was horrible. There was no care or attention to detail when it came to actually painting. Polish barely got anywhere near my cuticles on any side of my nail. I would have been better off doing it myself. I wanted to treat my friend to a birthday pedicure and Vixen did a great job! They were so nice and gave us great pedicures. At one point the technician realized that he has smudged my friends nail and quickly worked to redo her nail. It's been a week today since I got a regular (not shellac) pedicure and my nail polish has yet to chip. I'm am very impressed and will be returning in the future. Read Less

For the price, I was very pleased.  My friend and I were in a hurry, and the technician juggled both our Shellac manis, which ended up looking pretty great.  Not very relaxing but we were electing to rush through the process. I come here to get my nails done because it's conveniently located near my job.  The ladies are always really nice and friendly and they have always done a great job with my manicures and pedicures.  They used to offer paraffin wax dips with every manicure which was nice, but with the new owners, they don't do this anymore.  Regardless, it's very clean and had everything you'd need in a nail salon. Word to the wise:  parking can be a little tricky with Lifetime being so close. Read Less

I am probably not qualified to write a review for a pedicure or 'pedi', but because Yelp will let me I will.I realized the other day that from the ankles down, I strongly resembled a hobbit. It was at that moment I knew I needed to bring in a professional. This nail salon is close to where I work and was able to accommodate what was basically a walk up appointment. The salon was clean and  had a bunch a nice pedicure chairs. The person that did the pedicure was nice and didn't talk much, just the way I wanted it.  25 dollars and 30 minutes later I was out of there. I even got a coupon for 5 bucks off of my next visit. I still probably wouldn't make for a very good foot model, but at least now I won't be recruited for Peter Jacksons next film. Read Less
