Went for manicure and pedicure on friday the 6th and by Wednesday the 11th the gel polish was already peeling off my fingernails. The older guy that did my manicure did nothing to my cuticles, he just massaged only one hand, and like I said the gel polish is coming off so bad. All he seemed talking about was politics and my ring and how he needs to retire. As we speak and as of last Friday just a week after I did my nail some of them have peeled off completely 😟😞. Definitely never going back. I'd rather drive to maple grove or Plymouth for my regular shops.

I came in today with a friend and we were told it would be a 15 minute wait. Okay, no problem. Over a half hour goes by and multiple people walked in and were helped before we were. My friend and I wanted to be seated together for pedicures and manicures. Pedicures went okay, but the time management on the employees parts was horrible. My friend and I were separated as no one thought to have her gel polish removal going on during her pedi, even though she told them that's what she wanted to happen due to time constraint. I didn't receive a manicure after my pedi; instead I was hastily rushed through a poor powder application. I still have stray color all over my fingers and my cuticles were TERRIBLE. Not one attempt was made to clean them up until I asked why I didn't get the mani I asked for. I was told they "don't usually do mani's with powder applications." Why then, I was not informed of this at the door when I requested it?? Another girl stepped in to complete a "manicure" after the powder polish was done, which consisted of a 3 minute soak and a bad cuticle clean up. I insisted that we would not be paying for a manicure as I really didn't receive one. My friend and I were really looking forward to being pampered and relaxing together. Instead we were rushed on everything, separated so we barely had time to chat, and then given poor excuses when given the option to fix things. I'll have to go to another salon to have them fix what was done today. Absolutely ridiculous. Never going back; complete waste of 2.5 hours and a good deal of money.

My experience in the salon was very positive... nice and clean place and friendly staff. However, after paying $30 for a gel manicure I hoped it would last more than 48 hours without chipping at the tips. Disappointed with quality - half of my nails were chipped after the 5th day- never had that happen from other salons, typically last a good 2 weeks.

I loved this place. They got me in right away on a Saturday. Very gentle with my nails. Always asked if what she was doing was to my liking. I went back an hr later after I noticed one nail was a little too long and even tho they were all quite busy, they found a way to fix me up. I am extreamly pleased.

I have literally been sitting here for over an hour waiting for a pedicure and manicure when I had an appointment. I would have walked out a long time ago if it wasn't for the fact that this is for my friends wedding and we were suppose to get our nails done together. She is almost done and 3 other people were started before me who are almost done. Now I will not have time for both my toes and fingers. Horrible service.

I've been to GNO Nails for pedicures several times since they opened and have always been happy with their services. My biggest priority is cleanliness and they have been totally on top of that every time I've been in. When I treat myself I drive from Anoka (9 miles away) because I'd rather go somewhere I trust to be clean (and do a nice job) than to stay close to home and risk gritting my teeth and smiling through a pedicure while my germ-conscious alarm bells scream in my head. Yes, some nail techs have done a better job with paint than others. But, I've never had an unacceptably poor paint job. If I was going to give a rating strictly for polish on a scale of 10, doing my own I typically can turn out a 5, usually the nail techs at GNO Nails turn out a 9 or 10, and once I was slightly disappointed and would've rated it a 7. That's still better than what I can do myself. I've brought friends in several times without hesitation and they've always been pleased as well.

Paid for a gift certificate as a gift to give to my daughter and her mom for a mother/daughter spa day.
They were hoping to go before school starts but we had plans for Friday and Saturday and she called asking if they were open Sunday (their business card says they are) or possibly open for Labor Day. She was told they were closed both days and to either take an open appointment for Saturday or schedule for next week.
After reading the business card and seeing they should be opened on Sunday I called not even 20 minutes later and was told by the same girl that they are open Sunday and they can take an appointment for Monday but they will close early. Um wtf?
The only difference between the 2 phone calls other than im a guy and she's a girl is my gf is black and i am not. Would they purposefully tell someone who sounds"black" something totally different? Guess so..

I feel bad for rating them only 1 star because my first visit to GNO Nails was a few weeks ago for a pedicure and I had a great experience. However, I will never go back there after my experience last Sunday. I went in for a pedi and a gel manicure. I should have known by how the pedi was going NOT to let this guy do my gel mani but I thought, how bad can it be? Horrible!! Worst gel manicure I've ever gotten. He did not pay attention to detail at all. When I pointed out some places he missed for cleaning up my cuticles he responded that my skin was really dry. Although I do agree with him on that, the previous places I've been to never seemed to have a problem with cleaning them up. It's been 2 days and the gel polish is bubbling up and pulling away from my nails. Not to mention, the polish just looks sloppy in general. I could've done a better job myself. Very disappointed and such a waste of $30.

I went here this past weekend for a pedicure and although it says they're offering 25% off, I still was charged $34 for a regular (not spa) pedicure.The entire operation is run off of an iPad mini with a knockoff Square reader. The unit kept saying 'Signature Error' every time I tried to sign so they continued to swipe, and swipe, and swipe my card and sign on my behalf to try and process the charge. Later on I realized I had been charged the nearly $40 (w/ tip) ELEVEN TIMES!!!! They told me my transaction didn't process on their end and they were just authorizations that would drop off. Here I am now 6 days later and $428.74 poorer (They ALL posted BTW); throw in a few bounced check fees from my mortgage payment for good measure. ALL OF MY NOPES FOREVER!!!

Went for manicure and pedicure on friday the 6th and by Wednesday the 11th the gel polish was already peeling off my fingernails. I would have walked out a long time ago if it wasn't for the fact that this is for my friends wedding and we were suppose to get our nails done together. My biggest priority is cleanliness and they have been totally on top of that every time I've been in.
