I have visited Michigan, especially this area a few times last year and was in the mood of getting my nails done, so I looked up on Yelp also Google and happened to find Posh Nails and Spa. This place I think had been opened for almost two years and it is located in a convenient area where you can walk for less than five minutes to the Family Fares, Starbucks is right next to the salon, frozen yogurt, Thai food, ect..you name it! This nails spa is quite big, neat and nice, they have fresh flowers every one or two weeks, I could not remember. Those people who works there are friendly and well trained. Very disappointing service. Came here after the amazing yelp reviews for a gel manicure and pedicure. After and hour of my pedicure I realized if I waited until the end of my pedicure to start my nails I would be at the salon for over 2 hours. I asked if there was any way someone could do my hands the same time as my nails. Got a shellac manicure where the tips of my nails are so much thicker than the rest, had 4 different people work on my hands. After still being in the salon at 6:00 pm the receptionist tells me they can fix it but they have to buff it all off and start over. The total cost being over $88. I will now go somewhere else to have this fixed. The girl doing my nails was a sweetheart but you could tell had very little experience. Beautiful salon, quality of nail techs were very low. I went here to get my acrylics removed then a gel mani and regular pedi. A friend of mine recommended them for my sister's wedding, specifically Tony so I made an appt on Facebook. The day before the wedding, I came here and was greeted and the place was very nice. I chatted with a friendly lady while I waited to be seated. My wait was short and my pedicure was done by Tammy. She was sweet and patient when it came to me deciding between a French pedi or all white. My sister finally texted me back and said she wanted French for all the bridesmaids and it came out great. I was then handed over to Tony to remove my acrylics. Only reason I docked a star was because he did the least best thing for the health of my nails which was lift them off using another artificial nail instead of soaking them off with acetone which is what is supposed to be done. My natural nails were as long as my acrylics so they had already been breaking off so it was painful for him to lift them off and then drill them to make them smooth. I ended up having to use a shiny clear polish for the French gel because you could see how he had damaged my nail beds. They looked scratched up. I ended up having to cut my nails very short because they were uneven, 3 of them had broken previous to me coming in so I thought "no big deal" & let him cut them all down. Overall, I was happy with my nails, the service and the atmosphere and I will be going back. Read Less

For all you guys out there... this place is awesome! Oh women too! One thing I hate about getting a pedicure is the smell of the salons, however this place has VERY good ventilation! Nice, friendly, clean place... Just don't expect them to offer up extra elbow grease on those rough calloused areas.... Very pricey too. More so then most places. I wouldn't recommend this place If you're on your feet often. Good for pampering, but not so much when you actually need the tougher areas smoothed out therapeuticly speaking... Read Less

This nail salon is very clean and well maintained, and they offer coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, and coke, which is a pretty nice spread for a nail place. I had acrylic nails done here once and I was happy with the outcome - nice light natural feeling nails. I then went to a place closer to my house for acrylics for a few months. I got tired of feeling guilty about the terrible smells and the possibility of negative effects to the workers and the environment associated with acrylic nails. So I pried my acrylics off and on a whim, stopped into Posh nails after work on a Friday, mostly because it wasn't super busy. My nails were very thin and damaged from the acrylic, and they suggested trying Nexgen nails. I asked if they were like acrylics, and they said they were more like a thick gel that's very hard and would help strengthen my poor damaged natural nail. The Nexgen nails are lightweight, hard as a rock and need no UV light to cure them, so your hands don't age prematurely. They have almost no toxic smell, and the one step that has a smell is less noxious than regular nail polish! Also, I took the Nexgen nails off once to see how my nails were holding up and they were totally strong and normal. Nexgen nails are amazing! I swear I don't work for the company. Read Less

I was really excited to try this place out because of the reviews it has. I went in and got some fun chrome nails. Unfortunately they all cracked within a week :( I looked up how chrome is supposed to be applied and I had 2 extra coats of gel and chrome on my nails... I'm guessing that's why they cracked within a few days? The service was good. My nails just didn't hold up how I wanted them to. I'd like to give them another try, but I'm not sure. I don't really wanna pay $60+ for nails that will crack in a week. Read Less

Clean salon, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee available as soon as you step in. Friendly service & the pedicures were done very well. Massage chairs were very relaxing and you can stay in the massage chairs while you wait for your toe nails to dry! Read Less

The worst place ever and expensive, I asked for a French and instead of putting fake nails they just painted my nubs which looks ridiculous I asked them if they have ever seen anyone with no nails get a French he said no then I asked him if he thought it looked stupid and he said yes. I don't know how they do business but if I were to work there I would not let anyone leave looking stupid with my work. The only answer they could give me was that they didn't understand me. I speak English very clear, I don't recommend them to anyone. I have to get my nails done after paying 35 dollars. Let me start by saying that I am extremely particular when it comes to my nails. I don't go to new places often but since I had yet to find a salon in the area I liked I decided to give the new place a try.  Best.  Decision.  Ever! My pedicure by Stephanie was awesome and my Next-generation nails by Tony were great as well.  They both took their time, were very friendly and personable, and were happy to answer my endless questions.  If that wasn't enough I was also able to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine during my services. #winning!The salon was clean, free of fumes, and beautifully designed. The tubs in the pedicure chairs are wrapped in a plastic liner that is changed for each customer. The tools used for my pedicure were new and Stephanie informed me that they never reuse them. One and done!Overall I was happy with my visit and will definitely return. I will be recommending this salon in the future to others as well. Read Less
