Such good service! My nails turned out so nice. Wish I had a picture to share of them. The shellac lasted about 2-3 weeks.

I've been going to Absolute with two of my girlfriends for about a year, and I won't go anywhere else. I drive in about 45 minutes in to this salon, too - if that tells you how great they are! Lynn and her staff are amazing and always do a wonderful job. Make an appointment if you don't want to wait. They only take cash tips! 10/10 would recommend :)

Kim did a nice job on my powder dipped nails. 9/10 nails were perfect! Had to wait about 30 min on a Saturday afternoon, not bad and they were apologetic. Cash tip only.

I'm never the type to leave a bad review, but my experience here was so bad that I talked about it for weeks later.
Let me preface this by saying that I get my nails done a lot, I've worked in service, and I generally do my best to be a considerate customer.
Apart from the story I'm going to share, it should also be mentioned that the staff as a whole was unprofessional - laughing & talking - drinking alcohol... it was a strange & unwelcoming environment to be in.
The technician who did my nails acted passive aggressive about the design I'd chosen (a diagonal line across my nail) - but didn't directly say anything.
She huffed & puffed about it until I asked her - "is it too difficult? We can do something else..." (I'm always open to discussing this sort of thing with my nail tech...in fact, the guy I go to now bounces ideas back and forth with me almost every time I go.)
She went on to say that my nails were "fat" and that they would look "fatter" with this design, and that if she did it & I didn't like it - it would take a long time to do over & she wasn't going to do that.
I was surprised, on top of embarrassed... so I asked if we could just do triangles.... she scoffed at that too - and I had to tell her I've had it & liked it before she would reluctantly do it.
The manicure was fine, but the girls didn't make it feel like a welcoming place at all.
I was without a doubt a nuisance to their staff... and all I wanted was a manicure.

My girl friend told me to go get my nails done for St Patrick's Day... I went in and everyone was so very nice. I wasn't taking to much of a liking to my clovers. My friend is real good friends with owner, let her know I wasn't satisfied. I felt bad, she had me come in and was very understanding and they were all great. Instead of clover, I did the Leprechaun buckle. They ended up looking cute!! Thank you ladies!! I'll check with you first with my designs!! LOL

I just got my nails done here on Friday 1/13 and got shellac French tipsand the gel nail polish is peeling in a sheet of my nail. Also on Saturday my thumb had a chip in it. Ugh. Lynn is the best nail tech that I've ever gone to. I've followed her over the years, until I moved to California. Every since I've lived in Cali I haven't settled with a nail tech yet because no-one has compared. The genuine friendly atmosphere at this salon is also amazing. I miss you all and can't wait to stop by for a fill and a pedi when I visit my hometown. I'm a customer for life!
