I didn't have the greatest of experiences here. I had a spa finder gift card and wanted to get a haircut and pedicure for my wedding. I called and they were able to get me in the next day. I arrive and was greeted warmly by the younger stylist. I filled out my paperwork and waited for the other lady. She came over and asked what I wanted. I showed her a picture and told her I exactly wanted. She said she would just take a little off and see how I liked it. She began washing my hair and the comments/ digs started. She began muttering things under her breath about my hair. When we got into the chair she again confirmed what I wanted, then said she would just take a little of and see how I liked it. As soon as she started cutting, I knew she wasn't going to take enough off. Sure enough, she "finished" and I had to tell her again that I wanted it chin length with it shorter in the back and longer in the front, just like the picture. She cut it again and it STILL wasn't exactly what I wanted but it was better. She began to style/dry my hair and let me know that the next time I come in I needed to schedule a color to cover the gray. Mind you, I dont have any gray (even had my fiance check later that night)! It was rude and insulting. The cut is shorter in the front and longer in the back; the exact opposite of what I asked for and showed her I wanted. In fact, I can still put it up in a pony tail!!! Yet when I do, one side falls out faster because it's cut shorter than the other side! I still had the pedicure to go. The younger girl did that. She did a decent job and was nice and chatty. My biggest issue with this party haired 4 days later; the pedi had already began to chip! I've never had a pedi get ruined this quickly. 2 days before my wedding and my toes are a mess. I'm going to have to do then myself. I will never go here again. Give me the local nail salons and my JC PENNY stylist Sammy day!

Update: Tried massage there and it was the worst massage I've ever had. Never concentrated on the spots I told her I needed it most and then pushed my legs on top of the blanket. How is that massage? Left there with the same amount of tension I came with. Try the Thai places if you want relief and for almost half the cost. Very disappointed, was hoping to find a new spot.
Hair cuts: They did a good cut for both my girls.
Just unfortunate about the massage.

When I moved to the area, I was in need of a new hairstylist. I tried a few places before settling permanently on Aphrodite with Tina. When I walked in, I was welcomed by an inviting atmosphere, a beverage and an adorable fruit & sweets plate. Tina listened carefully to my needs before cutting my hair just right. She works quickly, is friendly and sometimes even throws in a relevant product sample! At Aphrodite, it can take a little bit of phone tag to get an appointment because it's a very small business. Be patient because it's worth the wait.

I had an Amazon Local deal for a spa day, which included a massage, a facial and pedicure. The staff were friendly and respectful and the services were relaxing. My pedicure lasted for several weeks! It was a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

It was very quiet when I arrived. But greeted with a smile and felt very welcomed. I sat down and they had prepared a little snack for me while I filled out some paperwork and waited for my massage therapist. Debbie was my therapist. I loved every moment of my massage!! Debbie did a wonderful job. I wasn't really comfortable with getting my legs massaged (bad experience in the past) but she did it in a way that it felt amazing! No pain at all. I'd love to go see her again. The only reason I gave four star is because the walls are not "soundproof"... So while I was receiving a relaxing massage, I could hear every conversation outside of the room I was in... Lol. It didn't bother me too much, but I know some people wouldn't appreciate that very much. Good staff, good atmosphere, good treatment, and good therapist! I think I want to try out their facials next too... :)

The Good:I had a wonderful massage with Debbie. She was amazing, I really enjoyed the massage she gave me.The reasons I won't be going back:The owner of the establishment gave me my facial. I booked an hour-long facial for acne-prone skin. The owner pre-examined my skin and told me that my skin issues were manageable. About 40 minutes into my facial she told me that she had underestimated the amount of time it was going to take her to do my facial. She was done with half of my face when she told me that it was up to me whether to keep going or pay the extra price for the longer facial. What was I supposed to say at this point? Oh yeah, I'll leave with half of my face undone... The other problem I had was that I kept asking her to explain to me what she was doing. Each time I asked her she would begin to tell me but would stop. The facial lasted for about two hours and it was an extra charge of $90. I still would have been pleased with my visit if it weren't for the fact that when I was checking out (paying the extra $90!) she tried to pressure me to buy random items. I can see her trying to sell me skincare products that were targeted to help with my face issues, but she was trying to get me to buy a loofa! I mean, come on! Needless to say, I won't be going back. The spa was notified of the reasons why I won't frequent their establishment again.

Everything is done in slow motion and I don't think the girl who does the mani or pedi knows what she is doing.When I went I was the only customer in the whole place and it was on a Saturday - for the amount of money they charge and the finish on your nails it is not worth it.

I didn't have the greatest of experiences here. I had a spa finder gift card and wanted to get a haircut and pedicure for my wedding. I called and they were able to get me in the next day. I arrive and was greeted warmly by the younger stylist. I filled out my paperwork and waited for the other lady. She came over and asked what I wanted. When I moved to the area, I was in need of a new hairstylist. I tried a few places before settling permanently on Aphrodite with Tina. When I walked in, I was welcomed by an inviting atmosphere, a beverage and an adorable fruit & sweets plate. Tina listened carefully to my needs before cutting my hair just right. She works quickly, is friendly and sometimes even throws in a relevant product sample! At Aphrodite, it can take a little bit of phone tag to get an appointment because it's a very small business. Be patient because it's worth the wait.

It was very quiet when I arrived. But greeted with a smile and felt very welcomed. I sat down and they had prepared a little snack for me while I filled out some paperwork and waited for my massage therapist. Debbie was my therapist. I loved every moment of my massage!! Debbie did a wonderful job. I wasn't really comfortable with getting my legs massaged (bad experience in the past) but she did it in a way that it felt amazing! No pain at all.
