I was a fan of Happy Nails until recently. The past 3 visits haven’t been the greatest.. each time I got a shellac done, they haven’t lasted the two weeks like they usually do. As a salon employee for over 8 years, i know the value of a great review, and this salon deserves it! I’m very hesitant to try new places, but after being so busy at work and slacking on my nail care, I made an appointment this morning on a recommendation from a friend who’s been coming here for quite some time. Beautiful, clean environment. The girl who did my acrylics took so much time to make sure my nails looked perfect, and the young man who painted my nails took the same care as to make sure my polish cured properly and didn’t bubble. It was totally worth the 50.00 I paid for the service, and I will definitely be coming back! I was also very impressed by the way the young man was teaching the other two girls how to paint properly with gel polish. I love seeing salon employees work together as a team! Great job! Read Less

No wonder why it is called Happy Nails, I am always happy when I leave and have beautiful nails! The staff members are all very friendly and accommodating and the facility is clean and sterile. I would highly recommend this amazing hidden gem. Best nail shop in Waterford! There are SO many color options for shellac, acrylic, and even dipped nails. My nails always last about 3 weeks and it never lifts or chips for no reason (I do shellac and short tips). This is the first nail place I’ve been where I don’t HAVE to go back because my polish is lifting but only because I’m sick of the color and need to change due to growth. :) thank you Happy Nails!!! I have been going here regularly for 3 years. They are by far - hands down - the best nail salon in the area. When I lived in Muskegon and I would come back to visit, I always made a stop in to pamper myself at Happy Nails. I am perplexed by the bad reviews. The facility is clean, the services worth every penny, and the staff is courteous. Occasionally, there is a wait, but every client gets a tremendous amount of care and attention. This is not an express - slap the polish on - nail salon. It is a wonderful retreat where you walk out relaxed, in a great mood, looking and feeling beautiful. If I could, I would give ten stars. I used to go to a place in White Lake for a couple of years but I started to not be satisfied with the way they painted my nails. There were always gaps or uneven lines. I've been going to Happy Nails for I think a year now and I've always been pleased. I haven't had problems with chipping or poor quality painting. I also see the same girl there every time because I trust that she does a quality job. My nails take a lot of abuse and they still last 2-3+ weeks. I feel good about spending my money here as I know my nails will last. I've been other places and they chip a few days after. I haven't had this problem here, and even if I did, I know they would fix it for me. They're easy to talk to and nice people. Read Less

Hands down the best nail salon in Oakland County . Amazing,friendly staff. They definitely take the extra time to do a fantastic job, never rushing to get you out of the chair. Clean...
