Worst salon experience I’ve ever had in my entire life, girls took a smoke break and left me sitting in the salon for ten minutes while I waited for almost a half and hour for them to even start my appointment, let alone my shellac fell off within two days just peeled right off, and VERY unprofessional it toom AN HOUR AND 20 MINS to get SHELLAC on my finger nails. Horrible would never recommend this salon to ANYONE!!!!!

Rhonda is phenomenal!!! I always walk out feeling so amazing and beautiful!!!! Rhonda also does my daughter's hair too. I would recommend her for all daughter's, especially young teens!!!

Our family and extended family have been going to Calypso's for more years than we can remember. They are a great place to go to get your hair cut, colored, or styled. The atmosphere is very friendly and the owner is an amazing person. We recommend Calypso's to everyone.

Jackie is THE BEST. I noticed a friend's hair and asked her where she got her hair done. She told me where and who to go to! I started having Jackie do my hair and she is GREAT!!! She is very honest and asks what YOU want. I have gone through multiple hairdressers in my life and she's by far my favorite!

As for the others that work at this location... a bit rude. Some lady Debbie is doing a promotion for this salon and we bought 3 promotion offers. When called they said we have to pay gratitude,10 bucks. Which is fine but when my mom got there they told her she has to pay 20 bucks.... but we were told ten? On top of this the front desk lady said if 20 bucks are not given she will call the cops. Um... excuse me? Customer service 101- Never say that to your customer. As Human Resources intern I suggest the owner or management to re evaluate their employees or implement a program where employees can refresh their memory how customer service is supposed to work.
Don't plan on coming back anytime soon.

They hardly have any customers so a worker solicited at different businesses and my boyfriend ended up getting tricked into purchasing a $10 voucher that was supposed to be free for me to get a pedicu...
They hardly have any customers so a worker solicited at different businesses and my boyfriend ended up getting tricked into purchasing a $10 voucher that was supposed to be free for me to get a pedicure and manicure. Every time I called, there were no available appointments until two weeks. I missed my appointment literally by 20 minutes because I work midnights and decided to take a quick power nap before going on. I overslept and when I called the lady was very rude and not understanding. She told me how I missed my appointment and because of me the lady was not making money. I believe the lady was racist and uneducated. No one in their right mind would talk to a customer especially one they want business in that type of manner. I've been inside the place once to just be nosey before my appointment and when I waked in no one greeted me and immediately told me how they were full so if I wanted service I would have to come back tomorrow. She wasn't nice about it but was very rude. I'm glad God allowed me to oversleep because after being lied to once about the price and then hearing such a rude comment I would have flipped out. I suggest going to Someone Chinese or African American because they do a better job anyways. The nails done here have fallen off fast or look square and too thick.

Lin is the BEST! I have been with her since I was 12. I had the best experience ever! I had gastric bypass and lost over 100 pounds and she did a total make-over and- my own brother did not recognize me at all!!! She made me look like a totally different person. And that was 7 years ago and still to this day- almost EVERY day I still get compliments on how beautiful my hair is. Both the color and the cut!! I love the color and the style both are awesome and easy to manage! An...d I drive all the way from Warren that is a 45-60 minute drive one way- that is WELL WORTH every penny!!! Thank you Lin for making me feel beautiful every time I come see you!! I would never change so I pray you will be here for me as long as I live!!! You have always been the best!!!
