Pedi was done in about 4 min. I said you didn't do my cuticles, she said yes I did. Then she proceeded to pick at my feet with the cuticle trimmer. She didn't scrub heels, then claimed they were too cracked. First time ever having this be a problem. I thought that was what a pedi was for. They left red polish on the sides of my nails, you can see it under my new French manicure. The owner says that's normal. Nails are painted unevenly, tips are uneven. Tech did not speak one word to me in 45 minutes. Will not go back. Read Less

This place is excellent Idk why they don’t have 5 stars! All the girls are friendly and so is the owner! They are very clean, I’ve never gotten an infection here EVER!! Lots of pretty shellac colors. They do a good job with pedicures too. Read Less

My nails were awesome and were very well done. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. However, the pedicure is not worth the money. It was not even 10 minutes and the bottom of my feet still looked cracked. I pay 24 dollars to feel relaxed not rushed. I will not be going back due to this experience. Read Less

Asked the girl to apply 3 coats of color "we don't do that". Took the color samples away before I could look at my color number. She said " I know your color" WRONG COLOR! Wouldn't change it. Asked NOT to have my nails filed down AT ALL. They're SHORT now. Will NOT RETURN!! Read Less

Was in town for a week and came to this salon because I didn't have time to go to my normal salon at home before my trip. First I'll start out my saying, although slow, the woman who did my nails took her time and did a pretty good job. However it's only day 10 and my gel mani is already peeling off. The biggest complaint is that they were playing a movie on the tv, which was some kind of action movie with shooting and swear words not to mention it was very LOUD. Just not the type of thing I want to watch when I'm at a salon trying to get a mani/pedi and relax. Also they made no attempts to interact with their customers. They were carrying on with conversations among themselves in their language, also very loudly, which I thought was rude. Not to say you can't have a conversation with your co-workers but remember people are paying to be there and for some it's their only time away to relax and do something nice for themselves. Came in as a walk in for a pedicure. There was a wait of about 20 minutes, which didn't bother me since it was a Saturday I expected it. The service was great. He took his time and asked questions to make sure I got what I wanted. He even checked on me while I was drying to make sure everything was ok. I'll definitely be going back. Read Less

We attempted to make an appointment and they do not take them. When we walked in we asked how long the wait was and we were told 30 minutes. After being told that my mom couldn't have the same polish for her toes as me and waiting over an hour and a half, we cut our losses and left.  We will not be returning. Alright my friends I'm going to keep this brief. I went to get a pedicure with my sister because the weather is getting nice. The first issue was picking out a nail polish color. Truthfully there wasn't much to choose from and the guy was standing right next to us and I couldn't help but feeling rushed. The next problem was with the pedicure chairs. The "massage" is so uncomfortable. It was just shaking and jerking my torso. I hate the be "that person" but I took it upon myself to turn it off which I could tell the people who worked there didn't like. My last complaint was that the water in the tub literally burned it was sooo hot! I didn't want to be an annoying customer but I had to say something and she did end up lowering the temp.  I will end on a positive note though, she did an amazing job painting my toes and I do like how they look. There's two location of all star nails that I'm aware of. The male manager at this nail salon located in Mound Rd. is so rude. I'm baffled my the bad service I have received. I spoke to another customer and she agreed that the employees here are also rude. Please take your money and go to the one located on Dequindre Rd. where you can receive much better service. The staff is always friendly and the salon is always clean. I have been getting my nails done here now for almost two years, and I try not to go anywhere else.Justin normally does my nails and does a great job! Lily is also one of my favorites. If you need your eyebrows waxed, ask for her! I have only had one semi-bad experience here. I had some shellac done and the next day it began chipping. The woman who helped me was a bit rude and didn't seem to care what she was doing... However, I went back to the salon the following day and they took care of me right away and were very apologetic. To me, that was great customer service.The only downside to this salon is they don't let you book appointments and sometimes it's a really long wait. I recently just moved to the area and was looking for a nail salon. I could honestly say that these nail techs were very good and I got a full set manicure and pedicure from twp different ladies and I wanted something different this time. But both techs did amazing jobs. I could honestly say that this is the best paint job I ever received in my entire life. Both my hands and feet were done so well, I give them both 10/10.  =) The best nail job I EVER received... The nail tech (Janet) was very personable and nice. She'd talk to me and not make me feel dumb for not being very experienced in this (I get my nails done about once a year). The girl who did my pedicure was amazing too. She included a little foot and leg massage and my feet feel softer than they ever felt after any pedicure. I usually have rough feet  and I didn't know they could every feel that soft. haha. I'll be back (to the salon) in a couple weeks and hopefully I could add pictures soon. They knew I wanted something different but couldn't think of what I wanted. I knew what colors I wanted, and they made something very unique for me... Its very pretty and the best nail work I ever got in my life. I'm very picky but at the same time, I had no idea what I wanted. They took a little risk and I LOVE it. They look classy as hell but at the same time, look like something I'd see on a celebrity. The staff is friendly and location is very nice. I had Lloyd as my manicurist and he was very genuine in asking questions about myself. The only think I would like is a better selection of regular nail polish.. Although they did have a very good supply of shellac.y manicure looks so pretty! I got a shellac manicure here a few months ago that lasted three weeks.  The man who did it did a wonderful job and was very friendly.   They must have had at least 100 shellac colors to choose from.  Salon was very clean.  I'll be going back for sure! Read Less

Clean location. Must have good ventilation because it does not have that "nail salon" smell. Updated modern pedicure chairs.  Very comfy!Thorough - filed and trimmed everything nicely.  Staff were polite and nice. Okay selection of nail polish, but seemed like they had lots of darker colors or bright neon pinks.  (we need something in the middle)Oh!  I also liked that they had the TV on - to a Law and order type program in English.  It was nice to sit back, watch some TV and relax.  We went right when they opened and didn't have a wait, but they did get busier as we were just getting ready to leave. I've been coming here every two weeks for the last few years and I love it. I get a pedi/mani shellac and i'm usually out the door within an hour or so. Lily is the owner and she's so sweet, so are the rest of the employees. The best time to go is in the mornings, evenings are always busy. This is my new spot for a pedi! The place is so clean and the staff is so good with my feet, which is important because I have dermographism. If my skin encounters friction or compression, I get hives at the point of contact. This is the first place that hasn't made my skin hive up.I read other Yelp reviews about long waits, but I always go on a weekend as a walk-in and have yet to wait more than a few minutes. I don't mind that I can't play with the chair settings because I know first hand how easily other people can break those things, so I understand their policy. If someone did want the settings changed, I'm sure a staff member would be accommodating in making them comfortable. Read Less

This nail salon is new and nice.  I used to go to Luv, but I got sick of the poor quality work.  This place is good and it appears very clean.  The only downside is that there is usually a wait, but it is not due to lack of employees.  I have only gone twice but both times I had a great mani/pedi and friendly service. I like this place. I had the Shellac done here and it usually lasts a couple of weeks. The folks are nice and I haven't had to wait an eternity. I go out of my way to get my nails done here and have been back 3 or 4 times. I don't like to give out five stars because I think people can always improve. Read Less

Don't go here for a shellac manicure!!!  I got a shellac French here.  The girl can only do a French with negligee (clear) and white tips.  My friend wanted something darker than the clear, but the lady said it's not possible.  So after our manicures she came out with the truth, and said it was too hard for her to do.  I'm also pretty sure they were showing us color options that aren't cnd shellac.  Also, I'm on a week of my shellac French and it's chipping off!  7 days and it's chipping!  Don't get shellac done here!!!!  I have gone to another place and mine lasted for over 2 weeks.    The wait wasn't bad.  We were worked on as soon as we walked in the door.  Price for the shellac was normal, $29.  One of the ladies was very rude and flat out ignored me when I was talking to her.  But everyone else was nice.  Don't go here for a shellac manicure!!!
